“I’ve had more hangry joes since I’ve moved out east than any other restaurant, my family and I *love* it. Biggest caveat, which is one of their strengths, is that the restaurant makes everything fresh… The spice levels have been variable at the five or six different ones I’ve been to! I only get mild, it sometimes the mild is too spicy. Then I’ll ask for “no heat” and it will be completely unseasoned…. If I could just find some consistency in their mild, I’d be good to go. LOL So far my favorite location has been crystal city around the pentagon shops. They always add ranch, and the cook is impeccable!”

“A friend of mine recommended to try Indian express and boy was he right! I dined in, Kumar was on top of me explaining the food and always checking up. Their shrimp Biryani Was fantastic . Reasonably priced, spiced and delicious. Great customer service. Bring cash if you’d like a 10% discount off. I am looking forward to their buffet in the future. Definitely recommend to anyone! “If you love authentic dim sum, this is the spot for you. I’ve tried 5 different “dim sum” places in MoCo and this is by far the best.

Their main dishes are really good too. I love the dim sum too much that I rarely eat them but I’ve tried a couple and they’re spot on.

“Ordered jasmine tea, grilled chicken Banh mi, vegetarian fried imperial rolls and the non fried vegetarian spring rolls. I have no complaints at all, the food was fresh, delicious and satisfying. Staff was cordial, patient and polite. The entire restaurant was clean, well lit and comfortable to sit in for a nice meal. I will definitely return 10/10”

I find US restaurants rarely have ambiance but Tail Up had great lighting even if dining room was fine but unremarkable. “Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . The chocolate dessert is my go to”
