“My wife and I stopped in, while shopping, for a bite to eat. The restaurant was almost unoccupied, we were seated promptly by a polite server. The environment was quiet, and a little cool for me. I ordered a cup of hot tea which appeared quickly and was warming. I ordered the Tempura Shrimp Bento box. I was surprised at how much it provided to eat: A small bowl of miso soup, two sizable Tempura Shrimp, slices of Tempura fried sweet potato, onion ring, and two other sliced tempura root vegetables I did not recognize, two Shumai dumplings, four pieces of sushi, a salad with carrot/ginger dressing, a serving of steamed white rice. Everything was good, but for my palate, too many Tempura root vegetable slices. (Interestingly, the miso soup was sbrought to the table in an ice cold bowl; this rapidly cooled down the miso soup.) My wife ordered the Habachi steak lunch combination, she says the steak was a little tough and cooked more than she requested. Her lunch included a salad with carrot/giner dressing. Two spicy salmon sushi items were also included. This combination included a substantial serving of good, tasty fried rice. ( I shared one of my Tempura shrimp with my wife: She says it was good.) We both decided we shall return, but next visit we will investigate other choices on the menu.“
“Blown away with this unassuming spot for sashimi, nigiri, and sushi perfection in Rockville! Everything was incredibly fresh and they do not skimp on the cuts. “I went here for lunch as I was looking for something a little bit light and this place did not disappoint. Their menu consist of customizable sushi, bowls, and sushi burritos, as well as a variety of drinks and small bites. I got the B5 silver spring roll without the wonton chips and with added eel sauce. The service was very quick and the woman working in the store was very kind and helpful. My burrito was really good and the fish tasted fresh. I opted to eat in my car, but there is plenty of seating within the establishment if you have a small party. This place is located next to the LA fitness in the shopping center. if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop here for a quick bite.“

They forgot to mention how they were making the request with their phone and that is very annoying to every DJ. Also, it's called a "request" meaning the DJ can or cannot play if they choose. As far as I've experienced, every DJ at Death Punch has been on point and plays to the crowd and not the individual (there have been so many terrible song requests). This venue is fun and always vibin. To the other poster...go listen to Grammy winning Olivia Rodrigo in your car if you want. The rest of us will dance to whatever the DJs choose to play.“
“The food is very good. I was incredibly impressed by the service and overall quality of the food. The ambiance is weird. It is almost like a food court in how it's set up. Regardless, the food we got was incredible and they were very attentive to us when we went. Their gyoza is fantastic and their sashimi just melts in your mouth.“

“Had a fantastic meal at Kusshi Sushi in Silver Spring last week. We ordered maki and nigiri sushi as well as gyoza and shrimp. I lived in Japan for 8 years and was impressed by the size of the fish in the sushi and how fresh the fish was. Also the service was excellent. The only possible drawback is the atmosphere. It has a hip, young vibe and is a little loud, so it feels somewhat atypical for a classic sushi restaurant. That said, the sushi was so good - and reasonably priced for the size of the fish - that I will definitely be returning as soon as I can!“

The matcha crepe cake was my personal favorite of the deserts we tried but the cheesecake and the matcha nama chocolate were also great.Their hojicha is absolutely delicious and they have a wonderful variety! “Recently went to Fuji Japan since most restaurants in the area were closed and my parents and I were craving some type of Asian cuisine.Food is average, but decent given the price. It's a casual restaurant so when ordering you go up to the counter and pay for your food. If you decide to dine-in they'll serve you. Service is fairly quick though so no complaints about that. I had tried their boba which was not the best but not the worst. I don't think I would get it again in comparison to actually boba stores. It's definitely not tea based but I'm just glad it wasn't overly sweet. The tapioca tasted pretty good though! I recommend their miso soup but their salad and tempura you can skip out on.“

Ordered the fried cream cheese wontons (not fantastic but tasty), and two sushi burritos (raging bull and the crouching tiger). Both were excellent and filling. Definitely recommend this place. “This review is for 2 sushi rolls; I'll update this later if I try some other items. Bento Express opened about a year ago, across the street from my neighborhood. Its fast food Japanese, which is new to me. I was late coming home last night and in a pinch for food so I finally gave this spot a try. I got two salmon rolls, the Salmon Lover and the Spicy Salmon Roll, which were $9.95 and $6.95 respectively. Compared to a normal restaurant the pricing is great, especially given that the fish and ingredients were all very fresh. Downside is that neither rolls had much flavor, which is kind of odd considering they were both drizzled with spicy mayo sauce. Usually I don't need soy sauce for a lot of my sushi but in this case I did. Food Quality: 5 stars Food Flavor: 2.5 stars Value: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Ambience: 4 stars Honestly, despite the lack of flavor in the rolls, the food seemed so fresh that I'd give it another try.“

“I grew up in Seattle and recently had a craving for just some basic Americanized teriyaki. First I tried Go-Stir Fry Express in Wheaton mall... was a bit disappointed, but it scratched the itch. Then I tried Hibachi Express in Kensington - Much better, not bad at all. But I like this one even more. They ask if you want extra teriyaki on top at the end, and they have more vegetables and chile sauce available (If I were to guess, probably just your run of the mill Huy-Fong Chili Garlic Sauce, but it's a nice contrast on your veggies and rice to the sweet . There's a white sauce too, but I cannot hang with mayo and I am 99% sure it's probably based on mayo. Only problem is that if I am going to Bestway across the street now, I have to decide between this, Aarash Market, or Pupuseria Vanessa if I'm hungry.“

“This has become our go-to sushi place! It does not disappoint. Great quality, great value, and wonderful staff. They also usually give out a free serving of their house special (soybean) roll and sometimes we even gotten to try another sample of their menu. Its a smaller location but a hidden gem in a plaza right off 270 and Montrose. We usually park in the garage under the adjoining Harris Teeter for 2 hour free parking.“

I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen, which came with roasted pork belly, a little bit of corn, bok choy, scallion and seaweed. The pork belly was tasty. Almost kind of smoky but delicious and not too fatty. The broth was flavorful as well. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was super clean, and it was busy with a lot of take out orders. They even have sushi platters here in case you want to have a party at home! I recommend you come in person if you're going to have ramen. This is more of a place you'd come (or order out) for a casual meal. Maybe not for a date night.“

“Really good, fresh sushi. Every time I go. Actually this is my go to place, for sushi, when I don't want to drive too far. I frequent the Tropical Thunder, Dynamite, Maryland and Volcano Rolls. I also like the bento boxes, when I want a variety of food. My husband loves the teriyaki plates. The Yum Yum sauce is super spicy! Sweet, but spicy.“

The beef is sliced perfectly thin with just the right combination of fat and lean meat.
