“I really enjoyed the restaurant. I was skeptical at first because I had never tried Jamaican food because I do not like spicy food. This restaurant has definitely changed my view point. The waitress Marlene was fabulous. I will give them 100 stars. 5 is not enough.“

“My son Aaron is on the extreme end of the spectrum and Kiwi is his service dog. This morning, Aaron wanted to go to breakfast which he never asks to do. Sarah Renae and I go to Double T Diner White Marsh for lunch periodically. I called to see how busy they were and if they had booths available. We got a booth in the back (near that giant TV) our waiter was amazing so was the hostess. Aaron does not like going to eat at restaurants because far too often he's made to feel unwelcome because of his service dog. Let me be clear not telling him to leave and making him feel welcome like every other customer are not the same. Today, he was made to feel welcome. Today, his service dog (Kiwi) was made to feel welcome. After we ate breakfast which he had this huge pumpkin Belgium waffle with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, caramel and chocolate syrup with a side a bacon (only 12. 99) I let him pick out a desert for us to take home then he went outside while I paid. He picked the recess cheesecake for himself and the tiramisu for me. One of the hostesses came and asked how things where and if I was the one who had called earlier. I started to tear up as I thanked her and the staff for making Aaron feel welcome and like every other customer. I think it's important to acknowledge when a business not only does the right thing but does the right thing correctly and enthusiastically. “As an original Marylander born and raised I have eaten in almost all the places in Little Italy accept Angeli’s recently. I love the atmosphere but was not that impressed with the food or service. In a tourist area so maybe to some it was nice. I liked the cozy atmosphere but the food was not impressive to me“

“This place is a Baltimore gem. Cozy atmosphere that I wish I could sit in all day! The juices and smoothies are bar none - made with such care and the freshest ingredients. The owners will often give little cups of ginger tea or fruit while you wait for your order. My favorite is the Tropical Crave Crusher and Açaí parfait but I also buy the ginger tea in bottles. A must! So glad to have this place close by, please shop here instead of a chain! You won’t regret it.“

“I am a pure vegetarian and this is one of the nice Indian/Nepali places we have visited in Baltimore. The food was really good and the ambience was also pleasant. We tried below dishes:
1. Dial makhni - 4.5/5 - I think this was one of the best dal makhni I have ever had in the US.
2. Malai kofta - 4.5/5 - the malai kofta was very rich in taste and it had authentic Indian malai kofta taste.
3. Garlic naan 5/5
4. Veg momo - 4/5 - The momo were light in taste and fresh and the base chutney was tomato based which was really good.

Overall the food was really good and tasty but I think it's very heavy too. The portion sizes are really good too. We ordered medium size and malai kofta did not have choice for the size portion but it was large size and it was more than enough for two people. Your part“

“This is a typical bar with with bar food. No Different than TGI Friday, except a little better. The service is "OK" the servers are untrained as to waiting on tables. The first thing that should be brought to tables is eating utensils and napkins, the water. The tables dont have slat & pepper available for their patrons, you need to ask for it. The menus are not placed in front of customers upside down. (And I even brought it to her attention and she still didn’t correct it) ?? All in all the server was trying very hard to be attentive. The food was not terrible, it's typical bar food, and dont expect anything more. The Boom Boom shrimp are pre breaded frozen shrimp with the tails on and then fried and covered in some type of sauce. My daughter liked the boneless chicken wings with hot sauce. The onion rings I thought were good. I ordered the toasted Italian sub and wasn't offered the option to get tater tots -vs- fries. I didn’t realize this till later and the fries were soggy. I think this is an "OK" spot for someone looking for a bar atmosphere and same for the food & service.“

“Johnny Rad’s is a cool spot in Upper Fells Point. I first discovered it during my vegan journey and appreciated their meat alternative options. I hadn’t been back in a while, but my vegetarian daughter wanted a burger, and I remembered they had a great Impossible Burger. We ordered her the burger with fries (extra charge), and my wife and I opted for the ribeye cheesesteaks.

I placed a carryout order online, paid via Apple Pay, and declined a tip. Personally, I don’t tip for carryout unless I’m dining in, so I found it odd when I arrived and was asked to sign a receipt, even though I had already paid online. It seemed like they were hoping I’d reconsider the tip, which can feel a bit awkward.

Another thing I noticed: when the bartender gave me our food, it wasn’t in a bag. Baltimore’s bag fee aside, there was no option to add a bag when ordering online, which would have been helpful.

Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized they forgot the fries. The sandwiches came with chips, but they were stale, which is fairly common around here. I decided not to call the restaurant and just made a mental note to check my order next time.

That said, the food itself was solid. My daughter loved her burger, and my wife and I enjoyed the cheesesteaks—fresh bread, good portions, though I did find a few small bones in my sandwich (understandable with ribeye).

Overall, I’d recommend Johnny Rad’s for the quality and freshness of the food. However, I’d suggest a few improvements: double-check orders to avoid missing items, give customers a heads-up about the lack of bags, and eliminate the unnecessary receipt signing for online payments—it feels like pressure to tip. Despite these minor issues, I’ll definitely return, but I’ll be sure to check my order before leaving.“
