“Fabulous! We wanted a midday snack and this hit the spot. We had a dog with nacho cheese, bacon and jalapeños. Plus, a monte cristo…YUM! We could have eaten the nacho cheese on its own. Everything was delicious. Hands down, best hot dog we’ve ever had. We only wish we would have discovered your truck sooner!“

“I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. My husband and our two young teenage children dined here for lunch and everything we ate was absolutely fantastic. The fried shrimp, calamari and clam strips were the best (by far) that I ever had. The house made salad dressing was to die for (creamy garlic dill) and the fries were extra crispy and just perfect. All four of us left the happiest I think we've ever left a dining establishment. I don't normally write reviews but my daughter said that I "absolutely have to tell everyone how great their food is." We can't wait to go back and will be suggesting Dockside to anyone who will listen!“

“Too bad there isn't a six-star rating, because that's what I'd give. I love the atmosphere of this place ... like a 'local's' spot, old fashioned, not fancy or shiny ... comfy. We got there at 11:35, sat at the bar, then it started to get busy. There is a nice selection of canned beers, and a couple of drafts on tap. Our server was Kym y. She was great ... made small talk and was most attentative to our needs. We wanted food, and brother, do they have it! My wife got the 'Steak Bomb', and I ordered the 'Haddock Sandwich'. Both came with a choice of a side; we chose French Fries. The 'wow' factor was definitely working here, look at the haddock sandwich, the haddock is sticking out several inches on each side of the bun! By the way, the bun was fresh, and as soft as a cloud. My wife, who is somewhat of an amateur chef, said her steak bomb was perfect, small pieces of tender steak, with no gristle. The prices are most reasonable and didn't break the bank! Another bonus, the pub is located right on the Belfast Harbor Walk, so you can enjoy a pretty walk to burn off some of those calories!“

“Just trying out restaurants in the city that I haven't been to yet after living here for almost 4 years. The food here was absolutely fantastic. Fried Fiddleheads, WOW. Amazing. Fried mushrooms, WOW. Amazing. Their French fries, incredible. I had a grilled cheese pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork was ridiculous. Our server was really nice. It was quiet, almost nobody there, just a nice restaurant inspired by belfasts nautical history, will be coming back in the near future.“

“LOCATION: Young's Lobster Pound and Seafood Restaurant is located off Route 1, and as expected for a lobster pound, connected to a harbor. EXPERIENCE: I came across Young's Lobster Pound and Seafood Restaurant during an early summer afternoon just as they were opening for prepared food service. Since Young's harvests, sells, and prepares lobsters a visit is an ideal way to experience Maine culture and food. A variety of freshly prepared shellfish and lobster combinations are on the menu. Lobster and shellfish are plucked from one of many aquarium tanks at the pound. Fish dishes and rolls (including lobster rolls) are available too. AMBIANCE: An interior dining area upstairs allows customers to dine while overlooking Belfast Bay. This was fortuitous for us, as a torrential downpour began shortly after our arrival, making a visit to a roadside lobster roll joint far less attractive. That said, harbor front picnic tables are also available. Another benefit of making Young's your destination, rather than a roadside shack, is the availability of a conventional bathroom for guests to wash their hands before and after enjoying their seafood platters. SERVICE: Service is efficient. There is a system for taking and preparing orders made at the counter and online. TIPS: One benefit of the food ordering and preparation process at Young's is that opportunity to see platters and combinations as they are picked up may help you decide what to order yourself ! Take out orders can be submitted online via TOAST, making it easy to plan to swing by Young 's at just the right time.“
