“Great food and an amazing staff“

“The food here NEVER disappoints, we’ve been a handful of times since moving to Bangor, but the bartender working tonight was so loud and obnoxious! She was yelling over the music (which wasn’t enough to warrant yelling) to chitchat with people dining at the bar. We could barely carry a conversation across the room, she was so disruptive. This is a small place, noise carries.

High marks because our actual server and food were great, but I’m pretty hesitant to come back simply due to the noise level.“

“A group of 20 for lunch. 1 waitress easily handle all the orders and with help quickly had us all served after a short wait for the kitchen to cook. Food was great. Low ceiling made it difficult for some to hear others us further tables but once we started eating we quieted down to enjoy the food.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at the Tailwinds Grille located within the Aviator Hotel. Our lobster rolls were out of this world, the woppie pie dessert was great, and the service tonight was excellent. This place is super convenient for dining during an overnight stay, and the food is way better than what the reviews show.“

“The smash burger was the best we have ever had! Dough boy bites were so flaky and delicious ( like dangerously delicious lol) the quesadilla cheese pull was epic. The customer service was fantastic and the food was ready much quicker than I thought it would be. Will definitely be returning to try the other menu items asap!“

“Other than it being slightly loud )it was also suoer busy) which the loudness wasn't a big deal for us, personally.. but some people may want to know how loud it before they go and dine there so I thought it was worth mentioning.

The food was delicious and the portions were amazingly huge! No complaints on the food front for us! Definitely will be going back to enjoy lunch next time since we had a late supper this last time.“

“Outstanding selection of Beers on Tap. We went in for Drinks and Nachos. Our server Sean was great, but very busy this restaurant was understaffed. We also got a piece of Apple pie to share which was a large slice. Entrees we saw go by our table really looked good. Will plan to have dinner here next time we visit the casino. There is ample parking in the garage at the casino.“

“The signature drink, The Blue Sky, is $3.50! It has 3 alcohols in it and was delicious. Loved the beer battered fish with a thin but crispy batter. My blueberry salad was great and the sandwiches were, too. Not fancy but comfortable. Attentive, friendly and efficient service. So very reasonable and tasty. A big menu also. This place is a gem!“

“Amazing food with good quality folks, awesome sound system so you can actually hear the jukebox. Must recommend the “In The Pub” Smash Burger; 10/10 legitimately the best burger I’ve ever had. A very group friendly location, for those looking to have get togethers/ socials. Absolutely 5 ⭐️, well worth popping in.“

“Walked in and were day immediately. Gomie was out server and she was absolutely delightful. The pot roast and smoked Ruben were superb. The sweet potato fries were utterly brittle unfortunately. But the atmosphere and waitress more than made up for one small inconvenience. Will return on our next trip to Bangor!“

It wasn't until Monday morning that I realized I had left my wallet there. To make a long story short, Brian went beyond "the call of duty" and sent my wallet back via Fed. Ex. on his day off ! Group of 7 ordered drinks and miscellaneous food items. The food was delicious. fresh and hot. Not one single issue with the order! The checks were accurate. Will definitely be returning!“

“This place is really a hidden gem, I have been in the food industry 18 years and I am kinda fussy when it comes to food. Well I am here to tell you the fried fish here has to be the best around. Not to mention the pizza is fantastic and a favorite of mine the poutine. Another popular item by the locals is “Lisa’s famous fried clams” those are also vary tasty. The staff is always friendly and the bar is always stocked. I definitely highly recommend.“

“The food was absolutely incredible! Fish and chips came with a piece of fish that was massive and cooked to perfection! Fried cheese curds were perfect. Add to that literally the best service I've ever had at a restaurant from Melissa G. and there is no way I won't be a repeat customer for years to come! If I could give 10 stars, it still wouldn't be enough!!“

“Overall, a decent place. It was quite empty when I visited. I was the only non hotel patron there. I wasn't exactly sure if I should wait to be seated, as the server was in a different room when I got there, but once I sat down he came back in and his service was pretty good. Very chill and welcoming. The food itself is a little expensive for what they offer, but not terrible. The menu is super small. As in one side of one page for food small. I tried the mac n' cheese. Without the pulled pork, the actual mac was very creamy and tasty. The pulled pork was ok, but it was a sourer bbq than I'm used to. They had college football on that I was able to watch which was cool.“
