“We just tried Vera Idyllic Pizza for the first time and we were impressed. We tried both pizza and calzone - both were excellent. The pizza dough was tasty and well cooked. The red sauce had good flavor and there was none of the ugly garlic powder or sugary flavor that you sometimes get on pizzas at other locations.
This was a cash only place when we visited.“

An issue with the online ordering system meant that our order was massively delayed and Cook’s comped the entire thing even though the issue was no fault of the restaurant. The staff was so incredibly nice while dealing with technical issues and other unnecessarily belligerent customers and the pizza was well worth the wait! Special shout out to the female staff member whose name I didn’t catch but who was going above and beyond to get our order fixed - I think my unintentional choice of seat near the kitchen and flat resting face created more stress, but you were truly so wonderful and I appreciate all you did!“

“Only had the pizza here, folks, and it's excellent, best pies we've eaten since moving to ME, the thin crust is crunchy, toppings perfect, but it's all about the sauce that elevates a pizza, and this one does, you need to try this odd little joint (and the owner has a great smile, too).“
