The preparation of the food was the main problem, I had eggs Benedict with home fries with onions. The eggs were definitely overcooked. The yolks were hard, and the hollandaise sauce was in a separate dish. It had been microwaved and had a hard film on the top of the sauce, the home fries with onions. Just had an absolutely awful lunch. When I complained, I was met with a series of excuses and reasons why I was wrong. Disappointed to say the least.
food has gone downhill. everything is fried in the same oil and tastes the same. they also have the worst tarter sauce to serve with expensive seafood.
rarely is food served hot and the gravy is gelatinous.
the only thing I would order is the Mac and cheese but they took it off the menu.
Governors is much better food and seafood.
