Quite reasonably priced ($65) for the three courses, and the choices and cooking are excellent! Young servers who are proud of their offerings and want you to enjoy the experience. “We stopped in on a Tuesday night for dinner and drinks while vacationing in Maine. We sat at the bar and there was no wait. The bartender was personable and attentive. We ordered a couple beers and had dinner. Fish tacos were pretty good. The pasta was good too. We walked here from the place we were staying so I can’t say exactly what the parking situation is but I’m pretty sure it’s on the street - not sure about meters. The atmosphere was laid back and easy going - there weren’t too many others at the bar while we were here but we had a nice conversation with a bar neighbor. Overall great experience.“

“As a born and raised Mainer we have been up and down the coast eating seafood all of our lives. This place is hands down one of the best. Seafood is plentiful as well as the best tasting. I consider myself a scallop conisor, l know a good fried scallop. This place is the best. And the fried clams are just as good. Take it from me you will not go hungry or disappointed.“

“Where the locals go. What are the best meals we had while in Maine. An unpretentious little place with delicious food. Loved the lobster roll ($24), fries were crispy and the haddock Ruben was delicious. We thought it was the best clam chowder we had our whole visit.“

“My review is based off of the tamales just ordered. I grew up in Panama and it was one the best treats to get fresh tamales. It didn’t happen very often- but when it did, I loved them so much. And obviously in Maine- it’s almost impossible to find them- especially authentic. I was quite impressed with Sammy’s take on tamales. Of course- they are not the exact replica of what I had- but they are very impressive. And it’s A LOT of work to make them. It’s not Taco Bell. I had the Traditional Maine Lobster Stew which was one of the Best I have ever had. I also had Baked Stuffed Haddock which was Very Delicious. The Haddock was so Fresh! The Decor and Setting was Awesome! The Staff were Exceptional and service was fast and on point🙂 I also ordered the House made Traditional Baklava to go which is some of the Best I have ever had. Truly a 5 star place to Visit.“
