“Was just up in Wells the past 3 nights. Yesterday my wife and I worked our way down to Cape Neddick to shop next to Lorenas. When we went into shop we noticed Lorenas Empanadas, so on way out we decided to grab an Empanada. My wife had shrimp,I had chicken. Delicious they were, so on our way home today we stopped back in for lunch and again delicious. Plus get the cilantro lime crema sauce. Definitely good topper, plus homemade churros for dessert. 😋😋”

“Absolutely one of the very best restaurants to be found anywhere. They're a 20 out of 10 and the kind of place that makes me wish I had more thumbs so I could give them more than two thumbs up! GREAT, attentive service, GREAT atmosphere and the food is Michelin Star worthy. Beyond wonderful!!!! It's truly a pleasure to dine with these folks and I recommend them to you enthusiastically and without reservation!”

The food was GREAT, I got the fisherman’s platter and shared it with my friend and it was still enough for a meal!! If you are ever in Portsmouth you had better come here!! Without Surf Portsmouth New Hampshire couldn’t survive!! Also, it’s smart to get a reservation before going!! We came off the road and they still got us in under 5 minutes!”

We were offered inside or out but decided we didn’t need to wait for out when we could sit in the lounge which was basically open air (the wall opens onto the deck). Beautiful view of the river and tugs. Our waitress Mikayla (sp?) was super sweet and attentive. We never waited for a drink refill or to order more food. She was knowledgeable about the menu both food and drink. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the fish and chips and we ate our weight in oysters. Ten out of ten recommend ✌🏻❤️”

“Wow. What a find Lil’s Cafe was! Our family stopped in Kittery for the night while heading to Acadia. I love finding unique coffee spots and Lil’s was so much more than I expected! Seeing the pastries and hearing all the recommendations from the locals, we knew we had to get more than coffee. The crullers and almond croissant were out of this world! Melt in your mouth deliciousness. I’m looking forward to another visit to Kittery just to go to Lil’s. 😊”

The staff is top notch, the grounds are beautiful, and view is unmatched, and during your reception you'll probably be visited by a nosy great blue heron. He's popped up at most of the weddings I've shot there. There are so many wedding venues in Southern Maine, you probably can't do any better than Dockside.”

“My husband and I had the best experience tonight! The food was amazing. We started with the tuna appetizer and the cure wedge salad - so good! He had the filet and I had the short ribs - both were so tasty and cooked to perfection. Our server was super attentive and so personable! We’ll definitely be returning when we’re back in the area!”

“I’m from the Boston area and was meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner. We picked Durbar Square and we’re definitely not disappointed. We had an absolutely fabulous meal there. The chicken chili was a delicious, and a different approach than any chili I’ve had before. The chicken was perfect cooked. The sauce was full of flavor. They also ask you to pick yours spice range from 1-10 so you can choose what suits you best. The owner, John, is totally engaged with his customers and if you want, can even demonstrate a yoga pose or 2 (which he is very good at). Just overall a great place to eat.”
