“While I dont normally give out 5's for thick crust pizza, The Beacon does a great job with their thicker pies. Well coked great toppings and dough is thick but great tasting and not, well, doughy! I had a sausage and onion pie 16" for 25$ (inc 15% tip) amd it could easily feed 3 hungry people or 4 not ravenous...point being, great value for money. Thanks Beacon!“

“Moved to Gray recently , was asking around about pizza, as I grew up in NY and we eat it 3 days a week down there . Anyway , I ordered a plain cheese pizza the first time I went, and that was so good I just did the same tonight. Very close to NY style pizza, more specifically long island pizza where I grew up.. They definitely put some good stuff in their dough as it is seriously on another level of anywhere else I been in 13 years in Maine . And it being a HOP, looking forward to getting the Gyro next!!“

“Staff are great. Typical pub food. Regulars (I'm one) are friendly and welcoming. Like all restaurants and pubs, they recently experienced some turnover in their kitchen staff. They've recently brought in two new chefs, and already I've seen an increase in both speed and quality. Last night I had the Bavette steak, which is new to the menu. It came out a perfect medium, resting in a routine sauce. The flavor was amazing, and 3 people sitting near me said they were getting that the next time they are there. The staff are friendly and work hard to make your experience a positive one. Great place to hang out and watch a game. It's quickly become on of my favorites.“

“Great food as always! Never get my hopes down. The service was a little slow but pretty good. I love the place especially because you can bring your dog/dogs here outside on the turf area where it is no hot on their paws. They also water bowls to the dogs. Can't wait to be back again!“

“We went Sat and were very disappoined. It took 15 min to get a 3rd set of silverware. The chicken parm was burned. The credit cards were reversed and we waited 45 min for it to be corrected.“

“I was in a wedding this past weekend at Brickyard Hollow. The ceremony was cute and tucked away behind the venue, and the reception was held primarily on the spacious back patio thanks to the amazing weather. The entire place was closed for the wedding, which made it feel so private and special. We had a delicious variety of pizza and plenty of room to dance, and the staff was absolutely incredible. Emily did a wonderful job coordinating the event and making sure everything flowed seamlessly. Not to mention their disc golf course—10/10 recommend Brickyard Hollow as a venue!“
