“This is the place you’ve been looking for! When it comes to old-school bakeries, Italian Bakery is the one! Their pastries are phenomenal to say the least, and everyone’s favorite seems to be the Lobster Tail. I haven’t heard a single negative comment about it. In addition, you should definitely try their cannoli, lemon square, cookies, doughnuts, or anything else that catches your eye! However, keep in mind that the demand is high, and products sell out fast. So, do yourself a favor and order ahead if you want to ensure you can sample everything your heart desires. Also, their sandwiches are not to be missed! Italina Bakery is definitely worth the trip!“

“I brought a friend with me. I've been there before. It has been a while, but as soon as I walked in, I was treated like an old friend. I even got a hug. The food is great. I had a burger and my friend wanted a hot dog. If I am in the area again, I will be back.. if going, you might have to find parking. There is parking there, but the place is busy, so you might have to look for a place to park. But it is worth it.Parking: There is parking, but the place is so good that you might have to find parking on the streets. I can tell you that it is worth it.“

“Guthries is hands down the cutest little nook in Lewiston! The vibe is speakeasy meets craft lunch and I am HERE FOR IT. They have a soft spot for vegetarian/vegan options without sacrificing the flavor, ask for their homemade hot sauce, you won't regret it. Everything is very fresh & made to order, and the baked goods are out of this world delicious but usually fly out the door long before lunch time, fair but sad for the late riser like me, lol Everyone that works at Guthries is kind and funny and friendly, 100/10 recommend.“

“Terry & Maxine's absolutely surpassed our expectations of a diner. We were impressed by the extensive menu, the portion sizes, and the flavors in the dishes themselves. Everything tasted homemade and authentic. We ordered the Mexicali Benedict (pictured), Irish Benedict, and side of French toast. For two, this ended up being a lot of food, so we brought some home. This was our first time here but know this will become a regular spot for us. And the staff were kind and prompt! Couldn't have asked for better.“

“My wife and I go here every year for our wedding anniversary, which is now going to be thirteen, and we will continue to go to Fishbones because we love this place. The menu is always filled with delicious recipes, and the staff is always excellent, and we do love the romantic atmosphere. Highly recommend to all foodies.Parking: At peak hours, finding a spot is a little difficult. Might have to walk a little.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there is.“

“My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday night because we wanted to listen to some.good live music, have some drinks, and a bite to eat. This place was just what we needed to have a fun date night. The food was on point, the staff were laid back and friendly, and we listened to Jay Larkin doing live music and he was great. I watched the staff carefully put together some great cocktails with all the fine details. We were comfortable sitting at the bar conversing with each other and others and we will definitely be back for some more live music and food.“

“I'm glad you were open during the storm. After 24 hours with no electricity, I wanted a hot meal. It's was quite busy but we were seated right away. The chicken stew was good. My burger was okay. Definitely not bad but also nothing special. I felt like the sides were, unique (lots of options) but rather small.“

“This place feels good. Small, cozy, no frills, laid-back, horseshoe bar, booths, varied clientele, friendly wait staff. I've been there a couple of times...got food and beers both times. Food was top notch. I'm still thinking about the pulled pork sandwich I got last night. I never do that. Decent beer selection - normal domestic choices with a few crafty things available. Lively space, quick to fill up, but not so loud you can't have a conversation. Very homey and comfortable. I'm hesitant to recommend this place, lest you all start going and I won't be able to get a table. So, yeah, just forget everything I just said.“

“This was my first time visiting. It was a Friday night. The place was packed, even still, the wait was quite resonable at around 15-20 mins. But they give you a pager so you can go to your vehicle if you'd like. They have an entire gluten-free menu and dedicated fryer. Portions are very generous. Our server was lovely and just very friendly and knowledgeable. I had gf chicken nuggets and ff. The food was tasty. I will definitely go back.“
“Solid food, particularly for a mall. Funny little space with a cramped full bar and maybe ten or so booths. Bar was packed at like 1:30 on a Wednesday afternoon on Xmas break. Mall barflies, am interesting derivation. Service was great and fast - despite there seeming to be only one server for the entire place - and the drinks were STRONG. Hence the bar full of local alcoholics, I guess. Would eat there again. Had like a veggie wrap, someone had fish and chips, someone had chili, another French onion soup, and steak tips. Everything decent to solid. The chili was respectable. The side of pickled beets they offer as a choice was surprising and delicious.“
“I've always said that The Heritage is one of GR's best hidden gems. This restaurant is run by students at the Secchia Institute for Culinary Arts and offers a fine dining experience at a fraction of the cost. There are a few tips you'll need to pay attention to if you'd like to check it out. First, sign up for their email list so you get notified when their reservations open. They have extremely limited hours and dates that they're open (usually only two months throughout the year for a few days each week). The second thing to know is that your meal may take a bit longer than if you were to go out to a restaurant. Since it's a teaching environment, you may overhear instructors telling students how to properly clear tables, giving them tips, etc. and your food may take a bit longer to come out. All that said, if you can get a reservation for lunch or dinner at The Heritage, I highly recommend it. For dinner they usually offer a pre-fixe menu although it has changed over the years. I've dined at The Heritage several times now, for both lunch and dinner. If you have the time for a longer lunch, it's really fun. Nate and I went on their very first day of service during the winter 2024 session and it was great! You could definitely see some nerves, but we were enthusiastic and encouraging. We ordered a bunch of items from the menu: hand pulled mozzarella, chopped salad, shrimp bisque, pork curry, haute style beef, and two desserts. They start you with bread service, and they kept asking if we wanted more throughout the meal. The first few courses were spaced out appropriately and presented nicely. I LOVED the hand pulled mozzarella - it was flavorful and the baguette was perfectly toasted and not too crispy. I'd order that again. The salad was a huge portion and so beautifully plated, but it was a little lacking in flavor. I added some salt which helped. (In general, I have found most of the food to be a tad under seasoned for my taste, but they had salt and pepper shakers on the table). Our entrees took a bit longer to come out, but they were delicious. I preferred the haute beef, which was a perfectly cooked (medium rare) filet on some potato croquettes with delicious sauce. I did think it was interesting they didn't ask me how I wanted the steak cooked, but it was great. They also didn't offer a steak knife, but it wasn't necessary. The pork in the curry was super tender and cooked really nicely. Dessert is displayed on a cart that they bring around which is really fun. We went with the mocha latte torte and the raspberry passionfruit torte. I loved the mocha latte torte as it reminded me of tiramisu. In lieu of tips, an 18% service charge is added to each check and this money is put into scholarships that go back to the students. They also provide a comment card that you can give feedback on at the end of the meal. If you are a patient and kind foodie with a bit of time on your hands, definitely try to make it to The Heritage for a meal!“

“We love taking the hour and forty five min drive to let the kids faces light up ? the garlic knots were delicious ? cheese burgers we'd get again, pizza could have been baked a lil less but was ok. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to make sure we had a great time each time we've gone. Games are cool, in working condition, the SpongeBob VR rollercoaster had my silly self hollering wait ?☺️?? and I might be a bit addicted to the large roll of tickets in the claw machine...I did win like 3,000 tickets last time ? on that claw machine alone???. The kids are tuckered out by the time we get home, and me and the hubby get to veg out ??? we go as often as possible, good job y'all“

“Desperately looking in Google Map for a good breakfast on our last day of a long road trip, we found this one near our hotel. And what a find it was. Lucky to get in early, the place was packed by the time we were done. And we know why. The food is excellent and plentiful. From fancy to home style breakfast. Excellent service as well. This was the cherry on top of the cake of our trip.“

“My friend and I enjoyed having a treat there. We had ice cream Sundays. They were really good. They were a really good size too. I was very happy that the train was turned off after a bit. It was a pain because it made a lot of noise when it came close to us. I still recommend going there.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps to get in. There are a couple of doors to open. There is enough room to move around.“

“I had a large party of 15 plus that was supposed to go to margaritas for dinner for birthday but they refused to accommodate my party because they needed a reservation but was also told that they didn’t take reservations. long story short, my sister spoke with the manager at legends Melissa and asked if she could accommodate our party last min and boy did they come through!!! They did a great job setting everything up for us and serving us all yummy food and drinks! Melissa is an absolutely amazing manager and I thank her and our server for being so amazing and giving wonderful customer service!!! Thank you for allowing myself and my friends and family to come together and enjoy the night and make special mementos!“
“My husband won a raffle for a 10 person Thanksgiving Feast. He picked up the food on Wednesday before the holiday. It was an amazing feast that all of us (10) friends enjoyed immensely. Plenty of food for everyone.Thank you so very much for this grand opportunity to enjoy the foods prepared by your culinary students and staff. Well done!“

“We got there about 2:45 the place was about half empty but they seemed busy given the staff and time was off. We got seated in maybe 15 minutes. Waiter was excellent, food was great except for slightly undercooked steak in one member of our party's dish. Otherwise delicious and very thorough and prompt service by waiter Josh. Thanks for a great experience!“

“Only reason service wasn't ? is it was super busy. Great atmosphere. Amazing crowd in there! Loved the shirts ? that said, " The locas eat here". Really choice cuts of meat on the menu. I am extremely pleased with the chefs ??. Cooked my steak exactly as asked. .. You don't need a steak sauce at this place!!! It's seasoned and cooked perfectly when delivered. And I was there on a Wednesday and the place was packed!!That only happens if the staff know what they're doing and treat you right.I'd recommend it to everyone. I'd also not tell anyone.. cuz it's a little slice of heaven people don't need to ruin. Out of state people have a tendency to do that.“

“I was here with a work group and couldn't eat any of the food that was served buffet style for the group due to allergies, but the manager made me a comparable entree to eat without the allergen. I thought that was very nice of the manager especially seeing as how it wasn't the manager's fault that my work only ordered food I couldn't eat.“

“I ordered a chicken tender dinner basket and it was literally some of the best tasting chicken tenders I've ever had. The fries had that real potato homemade taste. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp. The waitress who handled my order was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will absolutely be ordering again.“
“Little Joe's is more than a bar. It's a place of lifelong memories that stretch years before its creation. The owner, the patrons, and even the DJ have been a part of Lewiston Auburn's social scene for many years and from many different establishments. The combination of these people makes Little Joe's not only a place filled with good music, good food, and liquid spirits but also a place of memories, both old and new.So go and check it for yourself, and maybe you'll end up with some of your own memories that could be remembered for years to come. Wednesday night karaoke is also filled with some decent entertainment.Cheers“

“Had an awesome time at Denny's on East Main, shoutout to Christina M for the top-notch service and Jacobe for cooking up some seriously tasty food! We always get a lighthearted welcome and are seated almost instantly. We usually come towards the end of the night, so we always get to choose our seating. Overall, great service, delicious food, and atmosphere make this Denny's a winner in my book. Definitely coming back for more! Highly recommend!“

“My wife and I don’t eat out often due to our dietary restrictions. We both have celiac, so gluten can make us very sick. Our server, Amber had met with the Chef and hostess ahead of time. They worked together to plan a meal we could enjoy safely. Sedgley Place made gluten free bread, and deserts for us. Amber was able to answer all of our questions at the table, no need to run and ask the chef! The service was every bit as amazing as the food.Dietary restrictions: Gluten FreeDairy Free“
