“A pleasant surprise! We were driving leisurely back from Longfellow's Greenhouse on a Sunday afternoon, and stumbled upon Melissa's Pub and Grill. The food was excellent, as were the prices. To add to the enjoyment, there was live music from a guy named Justin Carver. The staff was pleasant, and seemed to have a good time together, which says a lot about a place! We'll be back!“

“We have been looking for a good pizza place for a while. We found it today! I had to run an errand to Auburn and figured it was worth a shot. we got the 20" meat pizza and I will confirm it was absolutely delicious: perfectly cooked, fresh dough, just the right amount of toppings... that actually tasted delicious. Most places are struggling with quality toppings and fresh dough seems to be a lost art. Thank you for raising the bar and being so conveniently located! We will be back!!!“

“First time here under new ownership. Wow, not disappointed! Might have been the best pizza we ever had. Had large green pepper, onion, and hamburg with extra cheese and sauce. Usually you get a little extra if fortunate. Not here! The cheese was running off and the sauce was running out! Sooo good. People are very nice. Plenty of seating outside or in. They didn't even mind that we had a small dog with us as we ate outside and were on our way back from camping in Eustis. Will definitely return!

My husband had the chicken parmigiana sandwich and he said it was the best he ever had. Kind, friendly employees. The place was nice and clean. Glad we found this restaurant. “Update 5/1/2025 : After living in the area for years and visiting here several times, I can confidently say I've never had a bad experience. I've brought my mother and grandmother here for Mother's day and I've celebrated birthdays here. I have not once been disappointed.

The food has always been hot and came out in a reasonable timeframe. The staff has always been friendly. The owner/manager has even let us try out specialty items they're experimenting with before putting them on the menu.

“Cruzin' Slice catered my wedding this past October. Although the venue was located outside of their typical radius, they graciously made an exception. I'm so glad they did! The pizza was delicious, the cooking time was quick, and they provided accommodations for dietary restrictions that some of our friends and family had.
