“My grad school friends and I are in town for a reunion and they were all raving about the $20 lobster rolls having gone to multiple other places for lobster around Harpswell. Unanimously they seemed to agree on the lobster rolls and clam cakes.I decided to get the chicken tender basket. Overall, the price is a bit steep for 3-4 chicken tenders and some fries at $15 (I added a can of Pepsi ($2) and upgraded the regular fries to sweet potato fries ($1) so my total ended up being $18 for what in most places is like $10. Still, the chicken was tender and the fries weren’t bad. I did order the honey mustard to dip the chicken in but it tasted less like honey mustard and more like honey mustard.Overall it was decent, just a bit pricy. It is a shack on the side of the road with approximately 4-5 picnic tables for seating and I believe no bathrooms although I’m not sure since I didn’t have to use one.

Parking: There’s a very small section of land dedicated to parking, but it’s just a roadside shack so it has limited parking.“

“Terrific food with both inside and outside dining, as well as take out. Staff are friendly and helpful. But it is the Bahn Mi that will knock your socks off! I have had this sandwich at a few other places, but none compares to the quality and taste of the sandwiches here. Try this restaurant and you *will* return!🥰“

“First time dinning at 555 North. We had a wonderful experience! The service was exceptional. Love the atmosphere, and the food was AMAZIMG! I ordered the short ribs which was delicious. “I went to Peppers Landing at 11:30 for lunch and ordered the Brunswick lobster roll. The roll was tough and dry and I asked the server when this was cooked. They could only tell me it's reheated on the grill. This was The worst lobster roll I have ever had. The restaurant manager was gracious enough to give me a whopping $5 discount for the food. This meal was 30.00 including fries and Cole slaw. I will never go back.“

“Definitely a Maine place--good, fresh seafood perfectly prepared. The crab Rangoon is fabulous, and these folk know how to prepare scallops. And since one of the owners is a scallop diver, the scallops are as fresh as you can get them. The salads are fresh, too. Lots of variety for a small operation. One of my favorite local places.“

I moved to Western North Carolina and tried the best Indian restaurant in Asheville, which is known as one of the best cities for restaurants in the country. They had absolutely nothing on Shere Punjab! Everything is better here. I won’t even make a recommendation on what to try (except you’re a fool if you don’t get the garlic naan with all those amazing dipping sauces). Just try it all, it’s impossible to get a bad dish. “We’ve stopped going to the Exeter, NH location after too many bad experiences with food and service. We’d heard the experience was better in Maine and decided to give it a shot on our way north. I’m so glad we did. The food was tasty (fish tacos and a Reuben) and our bartender was engaging and friendly. There was a good energy in the space and the location is fab. Will definitely go back next time we’re passing through. You should suggest the Exeter crew spend some time there to learn how it’s done. I know exactly zero locals who go to Exeter anymore because it’s so bad. It’s a shame because the view is killer. It COULD be great.“
