“The Pilot House came in a very close second to Mabel’s Lobster Claw — and that says a lot! The food here is absolutely delicious. I had the lobster roll with clam chowder, and both were incredible — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the baked crusted haddock and loved every bite, and my mother-in-law had the fish tacos, which were just as good.

The atmosphere has that classic small-town coastal feel — casual, welcoming, and full of local charm. What makes it even better is the history tied to this place. The building originally stood as part of Kennebunkport’s old railroad era and was later turned around on its lot in the 1970s. It sits beside the Spirit of Massachusetts, a 19th-century schooner that nods to the town’s rich maritime past. Between the amazing food, friendly service, and a little piece of local history, The Pilot House is a spot we’ll absolutely return to. Five stars all the way!“

“Just went for cocktails and bites from the Veranda menu. It was pretty windy outside, so they let us sit in the living room. But we still had an incredible view of the ocean at sunset! The drinks and food were amazing. I loved the Thyme 75 and the deviled eggs (perfect smokey paprika and crispy shallots). It was quiet and not crowded during the off-season. The service was perfect. Attentive and kind, but let us enjoy our quiet time with the waves. We will definitely be back!“

“This was our first time here in 8 years since it changed from Maxwell’s to Pepper’s. Maxwell’s was a place we visited frequently when in Ogunquit, and we even had my 50th birthday there. We were very apprehensive about going to Pepper’s, and we did not know what to expect! Wow and cool were the first 2 words I thought of when we entered! The place we came to know and love changed, but it was a great change with an awesome bar! Then, we had some drinks, an appetizer, and then our food came. All of it was great, and all the servers and bartenders are wonderful! We definitely recommend the Firecracker Shrimp and Calamari for appetizers, and the whole belly clams and teriyaki tuna for main courses! Everything was fresh and delicious! We are looking forward to our next trip to Ogunquit, and Pepper’s will definitely be on our dining list!“

“Fisherman’s Catch never disappoints! Our go to spot when we visit Wells! We were thrilled to learn they were staying open year round. We were looking forward to dinner after our travels and last night they were closing early due to I’m assuming the holiday. (Which is totally understandable) so when we showed up at 7pm, they happily made us a takeaway meal for us to enjoy in our hotel room. I was skeptical at first getting seafood takeaway… but as always fisherman catch never disappoints! Food was moist and delicious. And came out very quickly. We will be back soon!“

“Great place to get a Lobster!!! The 2 3/4 & 3 lb Lobsters were cooked perfectly. The onion rings and cole slaw were both excellent and the corn on the cob was a full ear of corn and very fresh. Seating outdoors has a beautiful view of a working lobster/fish pier and most of the tables are covered under a canopy so even in the rain it would be ok to sit outside. The menu had lots of choices and the prices were reasonable for such high quality food. The people who worked there were very nice and the service was quick. The restaurant was very clean inside and outside. If you’d like to bring a dog there is plenty of seating outdoors and they were very dog friendly. Will definitely be back again- it’s a hidden gem!“

“We had the best time here on an unexpected stop during a road trip. After driving all day from Vermont on a road trip back to FL we stopped in this little gem and before we even got into the doorway we were greeted enthusiastically by the owner Tony. The waiter Johanna and Tony guided us on how to order our very first lobster roll. We spent the evening laughing and joking around with them. We felt like we were hanging with close friends, which was just what we needed to end a long day. Thank you guys!“

“This is our second time staying at the hotel and eating at Surf 360. I love the staff. When reading past reviews that are negative about the staff, I honestly think they might be the rude type never happy. If you see a reviewer that always complains about staff it usually has nothing to do with the restaurant. The many staff I've met are accommodating, knowledgeable about the menu, and make you feel comfortable. Last night there was a gentleman at the bar where I ordered food and drinks. He was very nice when serving others before me. When I ordered we engaged in a funny conversation and he was quick with service. Today I just went over and there were 2 ladies working. Both were so sweet and helped me immediately.
The quality of food depends of what you order. My husband said the fish tacos were some of the best! Our son loved the chicken tenders and I concur. The crab cake was the only thing that didn't taste good. Hopefully they will try new recipes in the future. Macaroni and cheese was hot and delicious. Overall I highly recommend.“

Is it actual authentic Pho that will warm you and make you smile on a cold day? Yes. While many times when visiting asian restaurants you are treated to a version of the food adapted to the region you are, Pho Ly’s food actually tastes like the real deal, rich broth, herbs and a portion that is just the right size! It was so big that I was able to bring half home to eat at a later time. We will definitely be back and hopefully Caitlin will be our waitress again… a super nice young lady. “Food had the familiar taste of Chinese food i ate growing up. L22 lunch special. Beef and chicken teriyaki with pork fried rice. Good portions for the price. The food was hot and juicy. Rice was ok. Mia Tia was good. Couldn't taste the alcohol but after 2, I had a decent buzz. The side of the Crab rangoon actually tasted like crab, not just cheese filling. They work on the rice a little bit they could be 5 stars.“

“Fantastic pizza!! Me and my boyfriend went here to get a pizza before catching the train and let me tell you, heaven on earth. Ordered ahead and got a large pizza for $24, ready in about 15 minutes. I've had some bad experiences with the salads in the past (as others have mentioned), but the pizza experience is like no other. Stringy cheese, fragrant meats, and a good sized crust. ❤️
