I'm even more fortunate to have experienced the Baked Crusted Haddock at Pilot House in Kennebunk, ME. Must go here, even for just a drink. “Had a wonderful dinner at Crew last night. Donna was the consummate hostess with a friendly, warm greeting, a broad smile, and an extraordinary effort to secure us a table by an open window. Alexa served us in an equally friendly and superbly efficient manner making every effort to help us secure a memorable evening. The food was wonderful including luscious pretzel sticks and salads with delicious grilled chicken and shrimp added. We are longtime Front Porch fans, and Crew continues your tradition of excellent food and exemplary service. Server brought our beverages quickly and the food arrived piping hot and fresh. We were told it may be a long wait (slightly busy) but it was like 5-10 minutes tops.

The Food: Warm lobster roll with melted butter, sweet potato fries and a side of slaw and a cup of the most delicious lobster bisque!! We shared and it was the perfect amount. Clean plate award!! We weren’t overly starving so sharing was perfect. About $55 for our meal. While that may be pricey to some, I mean… it’s fresh caught lobster. And we shared and it was the perfect amount for our hunger level.

Overall, it was great. The food was top notch. If you’re looking for fine dining, this isn’t it. But, the food was awesome. I love supporting family owned businesses. Definitely would recommend.“

“we went to the diner for lunch we spent a hour and a half waiting for our lunch. Tables beside us and behind us some tables further away from us got there food before us. When our finally arrived my Mac and cheese was over cooked and slightly over burnt. My husband's food was alright . When he went to pay the bill the manager said the new system takes time we are not McDonald's. She also said are we in a hurry today. That's not the point. That's no way to treat a paying customer. We didn't get I'm sorry or anything off our bill for the new system screw ups. We will not be back for quite a while. The waitress seemed to ignore us. Your manager needs a attitude adjustment. I wanted several things on menu Red Sangria is quite tasty. And they have Bud Lite for Bud drinkers. Atmosphere so cool. Vintage antique sports memorabilia on the walls. Nice bar seats 10 At capacity on a winter afternoon today. Maybe a dozen tables total. I look forward to trying the back bar and dining in summer Family friendly Couple Groups of Friends All ages.
