“We honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed! We managed to snag a last-minute reservation and felt lucky just to get a table but the entire experience ended up exceeding our expectations.
One of the standout surprises was their incredible selection of non-alcoholic wines and cocktails. They even had a nonalcoholic tequila, which I absolutely loved and rarely find done this well.
We started with the shrimp dumplings, which were a fantastic way to kick off the evening fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For mains, we ordered the Portuguese seafood pasta and the steak frites. The seafood pasta was especially memorable, beautifully seasoned and packed with flavor in every bite. The steak frites were equally satisfying and cooked just right.
From start to finish, everything felt thoughtful and well executed. We’d absolutely come back the next time we’re in town!“

“Enjoyed Mothers Day Brunch with our family. The food was delicious. Our server, Molly, was delightful. While we had a quite a long wait for our food, our server was attentive and checked in several times to let us know that it would be along shortly. The zucchini fritters were excellent and overall it was a great meal.“

“We stopped down at the harbor for a snack on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Harbor Dogs is a tiny little stand, but they do a lot more than hot dogs! After a bit of deliberation we walked away with a million tons of food. Poutine! Asian fish tacos! Chili cheese dogs! Lobster rolls! Everything was delicious and those guys at the window? Top notch chefs. Get down to this unassuming shack and get yourself some amazing lunch.“

“This was our third time eating at Long Grain, but our fist time at their new location. The food was great! It was our best Long Grain experience yet. The new space is much nicer and has a more open plan. My spouse had Pad Thai and I had Pad Kemao. Both were delicious! The service was pleasant, helpful, and not rushed. Can't wait to return.“

“This was the best place during our entire trip around New England.
The girl who served us was lovely. They lit the fireplace and seated us at the best table with a harbor view—we didn’t even ask for it.
Every dish was incredibly delicious, especially the fresh-caught scallops with tomatoes. The oysters were extremely fresh.
Overall, if you’re passing by, you should definitely stop in for dinner—European-style dishes, a unique menu, and absolutely delicious!“

“This place is awesome At least once or twice a month especially in the winter my wife and I drive 1.5 hours each way the food is so good. We purposely over order so we have left overs. The staff is friendly and attentive. The decor is fabulous. We are from Boston originally and this restaurant is as good as any in the Boston area.“

“We had an amazing experience here after hiking the beautiful trails in Camden! John was our server and very accommodating, helpful, and kind to us and our pup. We had the lobster roll and chili, and they were great with gluten free and dairy free accommodations. Would highly recommend and plan on returning next time I visit!“

“A little worn out and I think everyone was ready to be closed for the season but lobster roll was pretty good. Definitely local spot, I wish it had more meat but it was our first lobster roll in Maine so we’ll see how it compares. Mushrooms needed more seasoning.“
