“The food is full of flavor and abundant. I always feel like I have received plenty for the money I have spent. I love their avocado tacos and the noodle bowl. So yummy! There is a creme they home make that adds a wonderful dimension to the flavors. Highly recommended this little take out.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian with protein option if you are not vegetarian, fish or chicken.Dietary restrictions: I have gluten allergies. Most items have the option of being gluten free.“

“North Beacon Oyster in Rockland on Penobscot Bay is an oasis in the off season of local oysters. Its also an oasis of great service and great food overall. Conveniently located on Main Street, the décor is a relaxed vibe for a smallish place. I choose to sit at the bar as a solo diner.The bartender was a major contributor to a great meal. Kim was able to offer up wine pairings for all my courses which were intelligent and spot on. I had the oysters (the Jalapeno and Cucumber mignonette was brilliant) , scallop crudo and duck. All were great. One comment was that the presentation of the duck was poorly made. The crudo looked great and delicate but the duck plating didnt have so much skill. The use of cauliflower, also white, with the polenta, and then a few sprigs or arugula did not do it justice, the pomegranate seeds add flavor and some color but still overall it looked crude.All that said I would certainly come back and look forward to it. Thank you for a great meal and experience.“

“Highly recommend! Our intimate wedding dinner took place at this magnificent property and it was beyond perfect! Bettina, McKenzie and team were attentive from wine selection through table settings. We didn't have to worry on the big day and that was worth millions! Whether you're visiting for a bottle of wine, a walk of the gorgeous property or a function, you can't go wrong. It's the most beautiful backdrop for whatever you have planned.“

“A great little place to eat. It's got that "Mom and Pop " feel. The food is great and the portions are large. What more can you ask for? Service? Staff is very friendly and helpful. My wife got the Downeast omelet and I had the Rueben. Both were delicious and, as we found out when they were served, both could have been shared. We returned a second time in a week and the waitress greeted us and remembered our home town. I love this place!“

“Excellent Thai food. Some of the best I've had, out of at least a hundred places I've tried. The flavors are masterfully combined, not just thrown together, and the level of spice was perfect. I prefer spice as a flavor enhancer, not as a challenge, and they nailed it. The gyoza was great, too, and the mango bubble tea had a delicate flavor and was clearly made here. I'll be back again.PS they say they close 3-4pm, but people were coming in after I finished at 3. I suspect the staff's too nice to turn customers away.Parking: Lots of parking out back“

“A great dinner experience! reasonably priced, good parking, Leigh had us seated, well fed, and on our way home in about 30 minutes! She was very accommodating and cheerful. this was at 5pm on a Sat so we came at a good time. Generous portions, well prepared, the House Dressing was amazing, all well worth trying!!“

“Crispy fried wonton special appetizer was good. Pad Thai was good, I put some of the sauce from the curry Massaman on it bc I wanted a bit more wetness and flavor. The chicken in the curry Massaman and potatoes was not for me and the rice that came with it was a bit over done. The mussels were quite good and the north they came in was unique. Good prices and lots more on menu to try so I'd still recommend but wasn't WOWed by my visit like i thought I would be based on reviews. The place is cute though although a bit crowded definitely get a reservation and service is good.“

This is my go-to place for either treating someone, or just meeting up for a casual coffee/cookie etc. Recently tried their smoothies and were pleasantly surprised as they were double the flavor and half the price of the smoothie place down the street. Always a fantastic experience with the bakery items (especially the molasses ginger cookies)!“

“Stopped for lunch, first time in 6 years (not because of anything at waterworks, just bumped into an unfortunate ex last visit). Food was great better than I remember, waitress was amazing. Portions were large and everything was fresh. The interior is really coo, only downside to the experience was water from the roof raining into the men's room, but the food and people made it easy to overlook, try the buffalo dip it's great and the crustini it's served with is to die for“

“After yesterday’s fiasco with barbecue, we were going to get a lobster roll and one of my favorite places along highway 1. But being an Easter sadly they were closed so we continued on our way until we came across this barbecue place. Great interior and we were greeted nicely at the door. Our server could not been any nicer and we started off with fried pickles, which were fantastic with the dipping sauce they gave us. My wife had to fried chicken sandwich and I had to pull pork platter. Those were quite yummy. This was an unexpected stop, but well worth it.Dietary restrictions: Are you kidding? This is a barbecue place. Your diet should never be considered when you need to go to eat barbecue.“

“The waitress was average. She wasn't as attentive as she could have been. It was off season so we couldn't sit outside and see the ocean but you could sorta see it from inside. The menu was misleading. We thought we were getting six biscuits but got four because they label the prices next to the item with no money symbol to indicate that was the price.Overall, the food was fantastic. The bread was homemade and delicious. I personally had a chicken dinner. Think of thanksgiving but substitute the turkey with chicken. Best dinner I've had in a while. “One of my favorite restaurants. ..very cozy..."wicked" good food...and the best waitresses around. The menu has plenty to choose from....pastas, beef, chowders, seafood.....just too much to list. My favorite is the fried clams and lobsters....each time I go, I have something different. My mouth is watering while I write this review...lol. I also wanted to mention that they have an " all-you-can-eat Seafood .....but after seeing the supersized plate they give you to start off...I can't imagine many people being able to eat more. I have never had desert there....because I am to stuffed after what I eat of my order....and bring home a big doggie bag as well....to munch on the next day. You won't be dissapointed ...give them a try....and enjoy!!“

“I'll start with-- this is a cute little restaurant in a cute little downtown of Thomaston. We didn't have a reservation but it was a cold Sunday night after daylight savings so everyone was likely home complaining about how dark it was so early. Needless to say, we got seated right away. They seem to prefer reservations though. My favorite thing? The small rotating menu. It's nice to see them try to do only a few dishes really well. The service was good. The menu had some solid options. The food? We had the steak chili, shrimp allá vodka and the pizza with pumpkin. All the dishes were very delicious. But really, the shrimp allá vodka sauce was actually so good. We did not want the dish to end. Why the 4 stars? Our $27 shrimp dish only had 4 small shrimp in it. While it was very delicious we called the shrimp "gold" because there were so few and they were so good that it was like finding gold in your plate when the bite had it in it. The other piece, I read this in a review below, but decided to try it for myself. There seems to be a problem with their ventilation system in the kitchen. We were sitting at our table and suddenly it got Smokey but not like visible smoke but you felt it in your eyes. One of my eyes started watering and burning and then my son said his eyes were hurting even though I didn't say anything about it. It seems odd, but definitely impacted our dining experience. This place is a great little gem and we will come back when a new menu is around to try all the new in season dishes.“

“This pizza doesn't get enough credit. It is sweet & savory and LOADED with toppings. My only complaint is that we ordered a medium pizza and got a small for my teenage son. He was ok with it so I'm not dropping a star. We get Athens a lot & this was a first time for any kind of mistake. We honestly didn't even tell the staff. No need to make a big deal out of one simple mistake. The pizza is ALWAYS freshly made, the staff is very friendly and even tho we grab it to go, the restaurant looks very clean. This pizza is my absolute favorite! Ham, pineapple, bacon, and cherries. Don't knock it till you try it!“

Read a book on my iPad and enjoyed the relaxing view of boats passing and quaint buildings along the bay. Server was so nice too. I plan on making this a regular lone lunch spot to just chill and soak in the vibes and comforting local menu.“

“This was the only place I could find that was open on Sunday night, and we were not disappointed! The Fish & Chips was delicious, fish was fresh and moist with a well seasoned/crispy light batter, coleslaw was very tasty, and the fries were crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. My only fuss is the same as other restaurants that use metal trays to serve dinner on, the fries cool down so fast that I only enjoy the first few. The meal did take a while due to only one waitress for the whole place who was wonderful and was working very hard!“
