“The food quality at Rivers Driver's is excellent. I highly recommend the Mac and Cheese. I got it with the buffalo chicken which added a nice hint of heat. The drinks are tasty and the people are very friendly. And you can't beat the view of Katahdin past the lake.Parking: It is a dirt road, however, that should only really be an issue for any motorcycles trying to get to the restaurant. Besides that there are plenty of parking at the restaurant.“

“Loved meeting Tom, the owner/bartender who's an all-around awesome dude. The Blue Ox was the only place in town open late, especially on Sundays/Mondays. I highly recommend anyone passing through the town to go check out the vibes and get a game of pool in! The Ox will not disappoint!“

The Scootic In and it's staff wiped those anxieties away and provided a safe, fun and tasty experience.Convenient to Baxter State Park and Mt. Katahdin, Appalachian Trail hikers can find the Scootic across from the Outfitters and Hostel. The space allows for a quiet evening alone or a welcoming crowd will to accept and welcome in transient hikers.The Scootic In is and remains one of the greatest highlights of my time hiking in Maine.“
