“Update; restaurant made good on missing item.

Food is decent and would typically rate this a 4-5 star experience.

Unfortunately, what brought me out to the review board was an abysmal customer service experience.

Directly after our reasonably good restaurant and disc golf experience, I got a phone call from one of the staff telling me that a disc was brought in from the 9 hole course they maintain on premise with my name and number on it. I had left it on the course after playing. I thanked them for calling me and said I’d be by in a day or two to retrieve it.

When I showed up to get the item they called me to tell me about, they acted like I was completely out of line for bothering them with the hassle. Rude and unapologetic is how I would describe them. There must be poor coordination and communication between staff to “lose” my disc after calling to tell me they were holding it for me”

“everytime hubby and I want a good breakfast we end up here! food is great, atmosphere is nice and always a good price. unfortunately today wasn't the case food was good but service was disappointing. server had time to chat with another table near us and meet their needs and wants but rushed us to order, as one in the group wasn't ready to order and had to pick on the fly, waited half my meal to get jelly which was giving to the tables as they ordered but not us, never got the home fires, never checked in on us till we called her over. another at the table never ate her meal and she never questioned what was wrong. and had to wait about 16 mins for check after we asked for the check and boxes. will go back but in hopes we don't have her again. she was unpleasant and short with us but happy and attentive to her other tables.”

“Great meal in a comfortable setting. We visited on a quiet Monday night in the fall for dinner. Our server, Spencer, was very friendly and had great recommendations. We had the Chicken Amore, tasty sausage and moist chicken served over penne in a solid Alfredo sauce; and also had the Potato Gnocchi with Sausage Ragu - meaty, delicious, and satisfying. The entrees were served piping hot, and the portions were really generous, and there’ll be more than enough for lunch tomorrow too. The complimentary garlic bread knots were warm and tasted homemade, and even the starter salads were really fresh and nicely prepared. DaVinci’s was definitely worth the visit.”

“My partner and I visited the Blue Jay Cafe yesterday and had the most lovely experience. The staff is incredibly inviting, the coffee was delicious, and the cafe itself is somewhere I want to relax all day. Can't recommend it enough!! Looking forward to going again soon.”

“extremely good place to eat if you need a place that is kind of like home this is it , at least for anyone that likes football baseball basketball golf or pretty much any sports. service is prompt and friendly drinks are fair priced the only problem i had was when i looked around for a phone number there was not a single one posted. anywhere in the restaurant and i had to google gippers for a number and found this. they should make their number well known pens cards put it on the shirts they sell its not a place to be afraid of advertising by any means.”

“Dubois Cafe is a great little hole-in-the-wall type diner spot.

The servers are very friendly, food is solid in my experience, and prices are not unreasonable.

I will be back, love this spot.

Parking: As others have mentioned, the parking lot can be a bit cramped!”

“I went to Grants for the first time today to try their chicken pie which was delicious but there was also a “chefs mistake” on the counter which i bought. It was absolutely the best chocolate peanut butter cake i’ve ever had. I’ll never go to another bakery again.”

“I ordered a lobster roll dinner . First off it’s not some tiny little thing , it was like the footlong of lobster rolls. It tasted like I shelled the lobster myself , super fresh ! Not only was it prob one of the best things I have ever gotten it came with hand cut fries and a salad ! For 20 $ I would legit sell my soul for this quality <3 highly recommend 5 stars !”

“What a great place to hang out and try a lot of local brews...over 200! Love the comedy and impov nights. It's nice to see something different than just bands, all the time. Mike and the crew are a great bunch. Would highly recommend the CBU to hang out, relax and enjoy a great local brew!”
