“Nice lodge with a pub upstairs, open Saturdays and Sundays. Just a heads up they close off almost half the parking lot for paid parking which is really frustrating if you’re not a season passholder who paid for parking since there’s hardly enough parking to begin with. If there’s a race day happening this is where everything is based out of and where the racecourse finishes so grab a spot on the deck if you have an athlete competing, great place to watch from. “Had a nice meal at the Modern Barn. Comfortable and cozy environment. The service was outstanding (Thank you Heather). We started with a cocktail- St. Germaine gin and grapefruit- which was excellent and well presented with a beautiful flower. One of us had the Burger, which was perfectly cooked and "delicious". Quite an endorsement from a very picky eater! Two of us had fish entrees - both fish entrees were a little overcooked and somewhat dry. But overall, we enjoyed the evening and would return.“
