It's shocking that such a small, unassuming place knocks it out of the park in terms of bread (every single bread on the menu is FANTASTIC--last time we went, our table got one of each!), entrees, drinks AND baked desserts. If you want a stellar meal in a low-key atmosphere, you must go to Albatross. I sort of don't want the secret to get out, because I want to always be able to get a table, but this place should be packed every day.”

“Extraordinary and unlike any other restaurant in Maine. We found the establishment on our Michelin Guide portal, pretty much the only place recommended by Michelin in Maine. We enjoyed the lobster tasting, beautiful dishes of Maine lobster combined with south East Asian flavors. Service was attentive and knowledgeable .”

“I might be too much of a traditionalist but...I had my mouth all set for red flannel hash, was really looking forward to the sweetness that only beets can provide...and unfortunately they used pickled beets :( The description said "beet slaw", so I had anticipated thinner slivers to be in the equation, - but not vinegar. So close to perfection! (sigh). Maybe next time they'll go "old school".”
