“Third year update - this place continues to delight and amaze! Tried the butter toffee cake, equally great. All the pizzas are spectacular.
This is the second year in a row we had an early dinner here, and once again it was amazing.
All the dishes have a special touch to them, something unique and delectable.
The pizzas are spectacular, with wood fired char on the crust. The sandwiches are equally wonderful, each with perfectly balanced spices.
My special of the day spicy martini was one of the best I ever tasted, potent yet eminently drinkable.
The desserts are out of this world, especially the brownie sundae.
The service was terrific as well. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
Looking forward to next year!

“After three long years (last year they were closed for renos, and the previous year, we landed on a Monday) we got to York 54 a half hour before closing, but the vibe and the flavours were top notch prime time !!

We shared the Beet and Blueberry salad and a Red Curry Thai pizza (did I mention this is my fave pie ever ?) and a Olive Branch pizza.

We left with grins on our faces ??? and we will be back on our next trip to Vacationland in 2025 !!

“Allards makes the best calzones ever! Every time we have gotten them, they are by far superior than any place else. Always fully loaded with tasty ingredients! We don’t do take out often but when we do it’s allards! Anyways! Last night we got an order for delivery. Usually the hubby orders it but he was still driving home so he had me order it. I’m thinking it may have been poor reception on my part but everything in our order was once again perfect except one calzone... mine. Well by the time we got the food in the house and looked it over and I had realized the mistake, the store was closed for the night. I couldn’t eat mine because it had an item I was allergic to. I had ordered it without but didn’t specify my allergy like the hubby usually does so it was definitely my bad there. So I called the next morning and explained what had happened and asked if I could exchange the wrong one for a correct one. As a good business does, they apologized and made it right 100%. Even told me to keep the other one which the kids will love for leftovers! I appreciated the respectful conversation and whomever I spoke with was completely awesome! If you were the owner, you are fabulous! If it was an employee, you deserve a bonus!!!! I will continue recommending allards and definitely plan on letting everyone I know what a pleasure it is getting takeout/delivery from the best place around!!! Five stars all the way!“

“My local gas station. two decades of memories. used to be the getty and still call it that. it’s cute how everyone i know seems to know about that store. fun place to get a bit to eat!also every worker i’ve met over the years is usually amazingly kind or funny. i sometimes go in there just for conversation aspects when i decide if i’m going to cumbys or chases. “We are on vacation from NC, came in Sunday night unpacked and googled for something quick and easy for dinner. We decided to try Kennebunk House of Pizza. And it did not disappoint! The pizza was excellent. We got the House special--delicious! And order of fried wings and a side of fries--fried perfectly! Then I saw the baklava...grabbed 3 of those to have for breakfast with our coffee. Also delicious! We will likely be back before we leave. Couldn't recommend it more!“

“We had a mini family reunion at the Dory this week. 10 total including 3 kids. Jenna the bartender was the best! She pulled together a bunch of tables for us outside near the pool, made sure to show the kids where the game rooms were, and got us a round of drinks, she was like a one woman band! We started out with a few of the appetizers so we could catch up with the relatives. The deep fried cheese curds were the favorite, but everyone enjoyed the wings and hummus too. Finally corralled the kids and ordered dinners. There is something for everyone on the menu, roll ups, pizza, burgers, sliders...and of course the piece de resistance (as far as the kids were concerned) for dessert, fabulous milkshakes. It's a great casual place and we will be back soon.“
