“This place rocks and I had the best $11 lunch. The puffy avo and shrimp tacos are my favorite. I went early and it wasn’t busy so I was able to get a little solo work lunch in and the server Luis was SO nice and welcoming. I also didn’t realize the have a kids changing table in the bathroom and most places in Portland aren’t kid friendly so I think I’ll come back with my kids soon because I’m already hungry for another taco and a happy upbeat welcoming atmosphere.“

“It’s my dad’s and my go-to lunch spot, especially after Sunday morning church. Since he can’t hear from his left ear due to surgery, noisy places are hard for him to tolerate. El Rayo is perfect because it has a calm, comfortable atmosphere.“

“10/10!!! My husband & I had to take the 1.5 hour drive to Portland for an appoinment. We came across this wonderful place while searching for a delicious lunch. Wonderful, superb authentic food! we tried the house made jalepeno poppers (ginormous & fresh) to start. Husband had the pork chimichanga (pork cooked to perfection) & I had to try the fried green tomato tacos. Blown away by all the flavors! Abby was our awesome server who served up a wonderfully funny sense of humor! Be careful though, she BITES!!! 😂“

“This place is friendly, it looks great inside, and the food was great. The decor and the food are both very Instagrammable. The guac was very good as were the tacos and the birra brisket grilled cheese. The salsas are not the common salsa you get other places - they seemed pretty unique to me. The pancakes were good (corn which was a nice change) and the drinks were great too. Service was quick and super nice. We’d absolutely go back again.“

“The food at Tacos Trios is really good. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful and you can tell they put care into what they make.

The salsas are an absolute highlight. Bold, fresh, and they elevate every single bite. Honestly some of the best salsa I’ve had in South Portland.

The one thing that keeps this from being a perfect experience is the pricing. It feels a little high for what you are getting and it adds up faster than expected. For a casual spot you find yourself spending more than you planned and it is hard not to notice. Would love to see the prices come down a bit because the food genuinely deserves to be somewhere everyone can enjoy without hesitation.

I had the birria tacos and they were excellent. I would recommend this place for some tacos and some beers and a game of pool after work would be great“

Nowhere in this world is perfect, but this is an exceptional Taco Bell. This specific Taco Bell in Biddeford is amazing. I wish I could give 10 stars.
