“A delightful neighborhood gem! Hank has worked very hard on renovating the old Spurwink Country Kitchen into a bright and modern space with a lovely deck and patio. I'd eaten here multiple times for lunch last year and now he's added breakfast. The food is all homemade and excellent. I've enjoyed the prepared foods to go as well. Try the meatballs and kale & arugula pesto on your sammie.“

“Very happy to see Anjon’s back! We got stuffed bread, meatballs, shrimp appetizer and chicken Marsala. The food was excellent and fresh! The waitress was amazing! Please note that they just opened back up and they are working on getting staffed up, so there will be a wait time for your dinner. I have included a picture of the new menu.“

“We just left there after having the fried whole belly clams. Absolutely delicious! It’s the cutest place to hang out and have some great seafood. The staff is friendly too! We had gone to another(big)place in the area the night before and we were very disappointed . Luckily we found the Salty Bay! today! “We stumbled upon this gem in Portland Maine.
Place is beautiful inside. With the rooftop patio also a highlight.
Most importantly is the food. Limited menu for brunch but enough to fill our bellies with excellent quality food.
We got the Canoas with lentils, Yucca puffs, Empanadas, Plantain tostones with a delicious pico de gallo on top.
So yummy. Service was top notch. We will be back.

“We have been occasional diners since Leluco opened, and it’s always been a lovely treat. This year we also decided to trust them with our Thanksgiving meal, and they did not disappoint! Our 1.5 turkeys were amazingly prepared, lovingly packed, and easy to reheat. Our friends and I are not sure if we’ve ever had a more delicious bird. Thank you, thank you for being a part of our Thanksgiving celebration. We are so glad you’re in our community ❤️“

“Cash only, but they have an ATM. Food is delicious and more affordable than a lot of places in the area. Everyone behind the bar has always been very friendly, starting with Rick who retired a few years and carrying on with the new bartenders. I also love that it’s been around since the 1930s, as one of the first bars around to reopen after prohibition. It’s definitely a neighborhood gem!“

It was so good I couldn't hold a conversation......or maybe it was their margaritas!! “The Whaler in Old Orchard Beach ⛱ Maine. First let me just say I really like this bar. Its got 3 fish tanks in it. Imagine a bar with fish tanks? There are two billiards 🎱 tables placed in a cool way. They have live music frequently at night. The bar has a whale theme from the pictures, carvings, and overall theme. Its really a cool sight. The bar is the closest to the Amtrak platform in OOB. It makes it my last stop after visiting. This is one of the few Bar locations that is open year round around The Pier in OOB. Its across the street from the platform. I take the train a lot and will be visiting when the tourist season slows down. Its a fun historic place to settle into.“

“We had afternoon high tea. It was an enjoyable experience. It is real English tea. Service was great. The food was nice and appropriate for tea. Even clotted cream for the scones. The tea sandwiches were small. The mini lobster roll had very little lobster in it and the other two were petite. We would go back again. It is a little pricey but worth it for the experience.“
