“Normally I'd recommend the place but between the inconsistent quality and pricing as of late it's difficult to. It started off on high note when the store reopened as FVM, but has since started to fall back to what it had formerly been. Still my favorite place for italians but I'll unfortunately be ordering from elsewhere until things fall back in line. Update-2022: Expecting any level of quality from this place is still a joke. I still enjoy getting their food on occasion but I can't help but laugh at what I get. They're lucky for their location and lack of competition. This order will definitely be the last chunk of change I spend there. Burned food, scarce toppings, and little to no filler in a calzone described to have a generous portion of chicken in it. Speaking of the calzone, it was a chicken parmesan and it didn't even have any cheese! It's laughable really. I'd usually say they're a fair priced store but when they continue to cut back it's hard to even give them that much credit. Go in with low expectations and they might just exceed them if you're lucky enough.“

She makes comments, and says things under her breath every single time. I never have seen her smile, her energy is so draining to even encounter with. She’s also rude to other younger employees.“

Iv been going to this subway for about 2 years now and I can truefuly say it's by far one of the best around and iv been to most of em. Vegetarian options: They definitely got a good display for the vegetarians I don't eat that section my self but I know folks who do and they also say it's the best.

Parking: This subway has its own parking lot and handicap accessible as well. And it's pretty big parking lot as well.

Kid-friendliness: Oh yest definitely kid friendly you can definitely sit in and eat a meal with your kids and kids can be loud and there all for it.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes as I said above it's all wheelchair accessible parking easy access to get in door.“

“George's is the best. A true, classic, Maine-style Italian sandwich with the best, freshest ingredients. I appreciate the way they build the sandwich. They take the time and care to layer the ingredients vertically with sliced (not chopped) tomatoes and peppers so you can take a bite without the whole thing falling apart. Rolls are perfect: Maine-style, soft, chewy and flavorful, not that crunchy New York style with no flavor. I like Genoa salami with their good black olives.“

“If you know, you know. Amato's is one of the quintessential sandwich shops in Maine, and as a born-and-raised local, there really is nothing like it, as they proport in their slogan. When living out of state, every time I came home to visit, my first stop was for a Real Italian, a Moxie, and Humpty Dumpty All Dressed chips.

I've had a generic review here for years, but I needed to update it after this weekend. It was a busy Friday, I was on my way home from work and picking up an order my wife had placed for the whole family. I didn't have the order details, and so some of this was certainly my oversight, but when I arrived home, a sandwich was missing, and another was generously lacking in vegetables, though I would only learn this last bit on the drive back to the store.

Upon explaining the situation, no less than three staff members jumped to fix the situation, finding the lost sandwich, remaking the other, and additionally providing me with a quart-sized soup/salad container of freshly sliced veggies, just to make sure that we had all we needed. The customer service was - in a word - exceptional. I had even proclaimed that this was not enough to sour me as a customer, and they still insisted on going above and beyond.

“As I lifelong fan of Amato’s Italian Sandwiches. I love their food. My only minor issue is the accuracy in filling the order. The last two times I have used the Falmouth location the sandwiches have either had a peppers that I didn’t order or left off the tomatoes that I ordered. The orders were placed on the kiosk and the correct order was on the receipt. I will still keep eating their sandwiches but will continue to be annoyed at the errors.“

“1st time at Jersey Mikes. Very impressed with my Turkey & provolone on white. My wife’s tuna sub was quite substantial & my wife gave her sandwich a 5* rating. 3 size breads to choose from & 3 different breads to choose from. We opted for a mid sized sandwich which turned out to be very large & very filling. Yes we will come back to Jersey Mikes to try other subs.

“This subway was decently clean, though no bathroom, and the atmosphere was questionable, but it’s Subway, what do you expect?

“I'd like to give a huge shout out to the staff at Subway for so graciously handling a couple of last minute catering orders I had to place earlier this month. The other food options I had planned for a training of 20 people didn't work because of dietary restrictions, so I called Subway to get sandwiches. They put together three big platters for us on very short notice, and were very gracious about the whole thing. Great people and the sandwiches came out great.“
