“We were there on Friday August 1st for lobster and I ended up ordering a bowl of fish chowder and a fish sandwich. I ended up ordering two more to go of the chowder it was so good!One for my brother and then an extra one for myself. the fish sandwich was amazing so fresh and the tartar sauce! I got it on the side because I usually don't like tartar sauce and it was so good we ate it with fries. Of course the lobsters were amazing also.”

“YES! Just yes! The Boathouse Bistro delivers an extensive menu of carefully crafted, and fine tuned dishes. The food is all cooked to perfection, and truly escalates the dining experience. “This is a bit of a departure from my formal, thorough restaurant reviews but I simply have to shout out the fine folks of Bakers Way. Their breakfast sandwiches are up there with the best I’ve ever had, and the bakery selection is second to none. Let me preface this anecdote with the fact that my wife despises donuts as a concept. I order a cheeky vanilla sprinkled donut, and grab it from the lovely woman working the counter. I hand it to my wife to hold while I go to pay (and they say chivalry is dead). I turn around and what do I see? 3/4 of the donut missing and her with sprinkles on her face going “you may want to get another donut”. Amazing spot for coffee, craic, sandwiches, and donuts.”

“Spectacular doesn’t begin to describe our experience at Grey Havens Inn! From the moment we arrived, the magnificent harbor view beckoned us to sit in a big ol’ rocking chair on the Inn’s lovely porch, cocktail in hand & relax completely into the moment. Oh & sunsets? Outstanding! Our first moments at Grey Havens were so warm & welcoming. Actually even before arriving, calls with innkeepers, Ali & Carlos, had us beyond excited for our initial stay. I say initial because of course we definitely will return & soon I hope! I could list endlessly all the delightful elements that the Grey Havens team have combined to create a place in which one can truly & gloriously unwind. From the lovely & cozy guest rooms to the gorgeous bay-windowed common room (with its stunning actual bay-view) the vibe is marvelous. Grey Havens feels quintessentially seaside Maine with just the barest but perfect touch of some lovingly placed & demure whimsy to intrigue a curious eye. Our initial stay dates did not overlap with Blue’s calendar, sadly. However the many tales we heard of Chef Esau’s creations have us drooling in anticipation. We will ensure we enjoy a dinner at Blue upon our return to Grey Havens.”

“This place is a dream. The scones are perfectly buttery, with just the right amount of sweet. Their iced lattes are the very best. The lavender cookies, cinnamon rolls, warm egg croissant sandwiches and the list goes on and on because I think we’ve tried everything at this point.

You can taste that everything is made from scratch with love.

There is something so authentically homemade about this special spot. It feels like a cozy kitchen where everything is baked fresh each morning. It’s our go-to first stop!

“We had a lovely stay at the Smuggler’s Cove Inn. The property is stunning with a beautiful view of Linekin Bay from seemingly every room. Our children loved using the pool, kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing from the dock. Our room was updated and comfortable. Breakfast was complimentary each morning and the spread was delicious…a nicely upgraded version of chain hotel continental breakfast. The family who owns the resort were very accommodating and we had the sense that they truly wanted their guests to feel comfortable and to have a great experience. Highly recommend!”
