“Hubby & I ended our wedding day with a trip to Beal’s to grab some lobster rolls & catch the sunset, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect end to the best day. Lobster rolls are the best we’ve had in Maine, blueberry cheesecake was amazing, staff was so kind and excited to have us there and we were seated at perfect, intimate indoor table with gorgeous views of the harbor. Went back the next day and had scallops & clams, and food was equally as amazing and fresh as night before. We LOVE Beal’s and will be visiting any time we make it back up to Maine!!“

“Lunch today at Eat a Pita was simple but delicious. Nice grilled ham and cheese and a great chicken salad pita. We shared a crunchy order of homemade chips. Rob was a very good waiter. Awesome spot“

“Fine dining at its best! Food, service, and ambience always perfect. My favorite restaurant on Earth. Elizabeth and James are wonderful and have impeccable taste. Always go several times whenever staying on MDI. One year a nor'easter had knocked out power but they simply handled the situation with the same grace and outstanding experience. Also like that they support local artists, have puchased beautiful artwork there. I can't say enough good things about Red Sky. Highly recommended!“

“We had the best time and best food here! My sister and I and our families and my two pups all ate dinner here on August 16th, 2024. Our service was excellent and the food was SO good. My pups were greeted and given a bowl of water and enjoyed the smoked turkey off dog menu too! Solid selection of local beers and nice variety of cocktails to choose from too. I would highly recommend checking this place out. There’s also an ice cream shop right next door, if you happen to not be too stuffed after your meal!“

“It was our first day in Bar Harbor and we chose Galyn’s for dinner. It was delicious. We sat on their front porch overlooking the harbor. The food was great and our waitress was so nice; very pleasant. We had the stuffed crab mushrooms, haddock sandwiches and blueberry crisp-a la mode for dessert. Yummy.“

“This might be the best ice cream I’ve ever experienced. The texture is thick and stretchy from its higher butterfat content, with less air mixed in to make it super dense. Their flavors are also fascinating. If you want to try something unique, this is the place.“

“Slice of Eden made our wedding cupcakes last year and they were fantastic! We had half of them made as chocolate with Swiss buttercream icing and half blueberry lemon cupcakes with whipped cream icing. They were a huge hit and gone so fast! We decided to have them make us a small blueberry lemon cake with whipped cream icing for our anniversary this year since we did not have one to save from our wedding. They knocked it out of the park! I can’t say enough good things about this place!“
