“Hubby & I ended our wedding day with a trip to Beal’s to grab some lobster rolls & catch the sunset, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect end to the best day. Lobster rolls are the best we’ve had in Maine, blueberry cheesecake was amazing, staff was so kind and excited to have us there and we were seated at perfect, intimate indoor table with gorgeous views of the harbor. Went back the next day and had scallops & clams, and food was equally as amazing and fresh as night before. We LOVE Beal’s and will be visiting any time we make it back up to Maine!!“

“Lunch today at Eat a Pita was simple but delicious. Nice grilled ham and cheese and a great chicken salad pita. We shared a crunchy order of homemade chips. Rob was a very good waiter. Awesome spot“

“We had the best time and best food here! My sister and I and our families and my two pups all ate dinner here on August 16th, 2024. Our service was excellent and the food was SO good. My pups were greeted and given a bowl of water and enjoyed the smoked turkey off dog menu too! Solid selection of local beers and nice variety of cocktails to choose from too. I would highly recommend checking this place out. There’s also an ice cream shop right next door, if you happen to not be too stuffed after your meal!“

“Just had a top notch dinner at Havana. And as someone who has to eat gluten free I was so impressed when the waiter brought out gluten free bread for me when he brought out bread for the table AND my own butter/spreads for it so there wasn’t cross contamination. Every dish we ate was amazing. Do not overlook the vegan option! My daughter (not vegan) thought it was one of the best meals she has eaten in years.“

“It was our first day in Bar Harbor and we chose Galyn’s for dinner. It was delicious. We sat on their front porch overlooking the harbor. The food was great and our waitress was so nice; very pleasant. We had the stuffed crab mushrooms, haddock sandwiches and blueberry crisp-a la mode for dessert. Yummy.“

“July 2026. We stopped in for two cocktails and lunch. Cocktails were very good and not short on alcohol. Sat outside along sidewalk, and the view was great. Service was professional, right down to uniformed wait staff, commensurate with a five star joint. We shared the corned beef Ruben which was excellent. Shaved thin, fat attached, with an excellent horseradish mustard dressing. Excellent spiced, but not spicy, fries.“

“I don't think I've ever been to an ice cream shop that was worthy of the time to put in a review lol but this one definitely is! Incredibly creamy and delicious flavors. I got nervous when I saw they don't do sampling but I was very satisfied with my flavors (salted caramel and whatever the flavor is with the coconut and sponge cake!)... I'm glad I was here on vacation otherwise I'd probably be in here every week 😂 Highly recommend!

Edit: Went back for the chocolate, which was very satisfying, and the basil, which was slightly disappointing because I found the flavor too mild. But overall still great quality ice cream!“

“Wicked awesome to find a restaurant that has great food, is reasonably priced (for Bar Harbor) and also caters to food allergies! I’ve recently come up with some food sensitivities and can no longer have gluten or dairy, and these guys acted like it was no big deal at all. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!“

“Got to the restaurant just before it opened so we had a chance to walk around for a bit. Very nice location but limited parking. Once it opened we were served pretty soon considering one woman was doing everything including setting up the bar. We had a nice chat with her and she told us about the very good water they get and we ordered a bowl of oyster stew and their special mushroom burger. The burger was one of the better burgers I've had for awhile and my daughter was amazed by the quantity and quality of the oysters in the stew. We left as they were getting busy and spent some time at the wall a short distance away on Seal Cove. What a great view and so relaxing!“

“Slice of Eden made our wedding cupcakes last year and they were fantastic! We had half of them made as chocolate with Swiss buttercream icing and half blueberry lemon cupcakes with whipped cream icing. They were a huge hit and gone so fast! We decided to have them make us a small blueberry lemon cake with whipped cream icing for our anniversary this year since we did not have one to save from our wedding. They knocked it out of the park! I can’t say enough good things about this place!“
