Forman’s has the best homemade ice cream I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten a lot of ice cream. Their ginger is full of small chunks of real ginger (which is an anti-inflammatory) so I consider this rich stuff health food-medicine. Yum!
When you visit Maine you must have Blueberry everything. We stopped in Dorman’s for an ice cream on the day before we were to leave for home. We had a double scoop of, you guessed it, blueberry ice cream. They were out of cones so we had a cup. The double scoop was like getting a pint of ice cream. It was delicious. Dorman’s is the real deal—genuine ice cream made in the ship, with many flavors to choose from and ample servings. The grape nut, mocha chip, pistachio and coconut chip are all top shelf and reasonably priced for the quality.
