We just stopped here for lunch on our first day in Bar Harbor. Hands down a great stop for lunch and the staff was great with our boys (8, 6, 4yo) including turning the Lego channel on at the bar.
We loved Downeast and stopped in twice in the same day. Nothing fancy, but reasonably priced lobster and a convenient location if you're coming or going from Acadia or Bar Harbor. The blueberry pie was also very good.

Thanks Mike and Andre (and the other unnamed employees) We were in Bar Harbor for 3 nights: we ate dinner here twice and one lunch. We tried the whole fried clams: fantastic! Lobster, fried haddock, lobster, lobster stew and local beers. Super value and super fresh. All the employees were smiling and helpful. I highly recommend this place!!!!
