“Of all the bakeries and coffee shops my husband and I tried on our trip to Portland, Tamdem was our favorite! The Americano was delicious and the salted coconut maple scone was one of the best I've ever had with the perfect crunchy texture on the outside and soft inside. I also tried the blood orange scone, which tasted a bit pithy to me. There was a line at 11:00 on a Saturday, but it moved quickly and there was plenty of seating outside.“

“what a Gem, probably the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The staff were so friendly, the highlight was being walked through the pastries and cakes made by their insanely amazing and talented baker. I cannot express how good the pastries were, we ended up bringing a bunch back to Nova Scotia. would 10/10 recommend a visit here.“

“Green Elephant. Much Elegant! Our sweet sweet boy wanted to go here! And we got into the BEAUTIFUL seaside city of Portland Maine! A friendly town elder welcomed us to the city! We went into Green Elegant and ordered soda. Less ice next time please! The man who I drive with ate some tofu and noodles and had his shirt tucked in because this is a NICE place to eat. Our Sweet boy ate something he liked. Vegan options for those animal lovers who don’t want to kill god’s creatures but also don’t want to eat mud and grass. And for me…Green Curry at the extravagant Green Elephant. The kind waitress said, you want this spicy? I said lemme get a 2 spice. Spice scale goes to 5! 2 is good. I DID NOT want to cause a scene cause Spicey gets me riled up. Can’t embarrass our sweet boy he’s shy! Shyness isn’t bad this world needs all kinds of people. Be understanding and live life with love. So I sipped soda which was blueberries flavor. And not to belabor the point but next time I’ll sip from the bottle…too much ice in the glass. Like the North Sea. Him had gift card! 50 bucks. I loved the curry and caused a small scene!“

“Food was delicious and the basic chicken and beef empanadas were just what I wanted, only thing missing for them was the Aji sauce that you dip them into or all over them. Yucca fries, rice and beans with the sliced chicken and quesadilla were great... The smoothies were also delicious!!!!“

“Delish! Grab a seat at the bar or at one of the tables and you won't be disappointed. The waitstaff is friendly and moves people through the restaurant in a timely fashion. The food is farm fresh and savory. Sure to delight your crowd young or old. Don't be alarmed by the line out the door as it is one of the only (and best) breakfast stops in the area.“

“Met the owner and some of her staff while we were painting her storefront. Kitchen was immaculate. Very nice decor. Comfortable seating, casual atmosphere with a bar. We were a party of 6 on a Friday night. Reservations recommended. We had multiple apps. All were excellent. Try the Veal parm. Leave room for desert.“
“Great coffee and service. Love the mission and impact this coffee shop has on live in Rwanda - it's mentioned on their website and that's what drew me to visit. Barista was super helpful giving suggestions about local spots to check out while I visit Portland!“

“I have been using Tally's catering on Steven's Ave for large cooperate events for about two years. It is high time I write a review. They are life savers! Everyone asks where my catering is from, and compliments the special attention made to allergies, and food preferences. Julie is a joy to work with, the food is always on time, labeled, and displayed beautifully. They work within my budget (difficult to find in Portland) and I am always impressed. You should hire them.“

“I've been to Thailand and I've tried many Thai restaurants in and around New England. The food coming out of this kitchen is excellent! My personal favorite is their Pad Se Ewe, but the Pad Thai is also very good. If you're in downtown Portland and looking for a Thai restaurant, look no further than this place. You won't be disappointed.“

“First time in Portland visiting a school and on the way out of town we needed some breakfast and coffee and I'm glad we stopped here. They had so many options for both coffee and food so I asked the girl at the register and ended up getting a caramel latte which was really good. I also got an egg and cheese biscuit (couldn't wait till to take a bite before I took a photo) and 8 of they're famous Bennies. Probably the best decision I've ever made! They were so delicious :D Overall the service was quick, employees were nice and the food was even better!“

“The best cakes around! I love that they offer size ranges from bite sized, to large cakes that can feed a crowd. Their seasonal flavors are always a hit, but classics such as funfetti, red velvet or plain vanilla never disappoint either. The service is always top-notch & sends you on your way with a smile on your face. The whole crew is fantastic!“

“The food was good. The service was slow, considering we were the first customers. We ate inside. It's a small place in town that's in an old building, so i didn't expect more than what i experienced. I would definitely go back. It's good for what it is.“
“We had a 3 day Labor Day weekend wedding at Wind in Pines on Lake Sebago. We ordered assorted wraps and salads for a welcome dinner on Friday and quiches and fruit salad for a brunch on Sunday. The food was terrific: fresh, plentiful, delicious, nicely presented. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. Very highly recommend their take-out catering“

“Luchador has the best burritos. Their ingredients are always fresh and they are very consistant with their great quality. I always build my own so i cant really speak about their builds. I will also say that i lived in Arizona years ago and Luchadors chorrizo breakfast burritos are the inly ones ive had since that taste like the ones i used to eat out west. Do yourself a favor and go eat at Luchador.“
