We’ve lived in the area for over a decade, but just tried Ironbound for the first time on Labor Day weekend, and we will definitely be back!“

“We loved our stop at Bunkers Seafood! The view is beautiful and we enjoyed the waterside picnic tables. We had appetizers and a drink and all were great! Staff was also awesome. We hope to be back someday!“

“Food was delicious but the service was less than acceptable. The girl that assisted us made us feel more of a bother or inconvenience. There was only 1 coffee made out of 5 machines, not everyone is a fan of dark roast or decaf. And the creamer machine was not working. We had the bacon omelet and blueberry pancakes, delicious. Coffee just meh. Prices are Island priced.“

“Took the wifey out for a much needed date night probably the only place with a lil late night food menu chicken burger was great wings were good decent drinks bar tender was experienced drink menu a lil limited but 100 bucks plus tip for bah habba is about right…def do it again much thanks!“

“Wicked awesome to find a restaurant that has great food, is reasonably priced (for Bar Harbor) and also caters to food allergies! I’ve recently come up with some food sensitivities and can no longer have gluten or dairy, and these guys acted like it was no big deal at all. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!“

“This place is a MUST! Over the week we have been in Bar Harbor we have ate at A LOT of places, Tap & Barrel is hands the best meal I’ve had here by a long shot. Marina was super knowledgeable and gave 15/10 service! You will not regret stopping here and grabbing a bite to eat or even just some drinks!“

“It was our first day in Bar Harbor and we chose Galyn’s for dinner. It was delicious. We sat on their front porch overlooking the harbor. The food was great and our waitress was so nice; very pleasant. We had the stuffed crab mushrooms, haddock sandwiches and blueberry crisp-a la mode for dessert. Yummy.“

“We’ve been enjoying Tracey’s for a few years. This morning we tried their new breakfast sandwiches. The croissants were so buttery and the sandwiches were filling and delicious. We also tried a fresh Boston Cream donut. Amazing! I’m just sorry we’re leaving for the winter. I look forward to many more good meals next year. Delicious food and friendly staff!“

“Recently visited Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. During our stay we ate here several times. Every one of our meals was delicious. Fish and chips was the highlight. First time having haddock fish and chips. Really well executed on crispy exterior and moist flakey flesh. The service was good. Met some really nice wait staff here and enjoyed the conversations.“

Especially love their delicious salmon appetizer, Korean BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, and the Blueberry Lemon-drop martini! Great local place with a great vibe - 100% worth the drive to Winter Harbor!“
