“It’s been so long since we stopped by and boy was the food delicious. We had the shrimp and Chicken spring rolls and the candied beef with sticky rice. Both dishes were excellent as we expected with Chef Genevieve in charge. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food. Parking was a little bit of a chore mind you.“

“The crispy shrimp balls, chicken skewers and gyoza were so good. The shrimp balls were my favorite and the dipping sauces were both so tasty. Even my bf that was full from dinner earlier was stealing bites of my crispy shrimp balls, then happily ate the gyoza and chicken skewers when they came out. Jasmine is so friendly and was so happy to hear that we enjoyed her food. I'm looking forward to trying more items from their rotating menu!“

“Great way to begin my Birthday Celebration Weekend! The cocktails were crazy good, the presentation of food was incredibly satisfying and the dessert was uniquely delicious. I can't forget to mention the warm and authentic staff. I can't wait to return....xoxo“

“I use to live close by a few years ago and the food was always good and reasonably priced and they stay open later than most. Went back there because the only place that I had found where I live now, and the Chinese food was really good, closed down shortly after covid. Just disappointed that they haven't upgraded their payment system to accept anything other than cash. I had to stop by the ? on the way.“

“I'll admit I was a little skeptical, but it was on my way to my Air BnB. I had the steak & shrimp hibachi, it was delicious. The waitress and cook were very friendly and helped me to navigate the menu.It was my first time here, but I'll be back next time I'm in town.“

“Pao serves up some seriously delicious dishes, no doubt about it. The decor is nice, but it lacks that inviting feel you'd hope for in a restaurant. And charging a 20% service fee for just two people at a small table? Not cool.In short, if you're all about the food, go for it. But don't expect stellar service or a cozy atmosphere.“

“I've been spit on in the lobby of Rikshaw house by homeless. There's maybe no roof? When it's raining outside, it'll rain on you inside, too. I still come back for the food. Here's the deal: Chinese food sucks at most places, you have to find what you like best and go there for only that thing. Rikshaw has the best chicken pieces AND the best sauce flavor and texture for their chicken dishes. The prices make me feel like I'm still getting "too much food" for what I pay and that's important when other options are twice the cost for something with no leftovers. They used to be cash only but take card now.VIP dish: General's Chicken - it's more savory and has tons of onions.Honorable mention: Beef & Broccoli or Special Lo Mein (all meats)If you get Shrimp fried rice, get it with extra green onions and a side of gravy.Parking: Probably some nails and glass in the parking lot. Good thing you're used to it in Detroit.“

“wow, wow, and wow!i have had the absolute PLEASURE, of enjoying Pink Flamingo on three different occasions. Once at their pop-up in Cork Town (highly recommend following their IG for info!), once at a food policy conference which they catered, and recently i was able to get out to their brick and mortat on Woodard. All three occasions did not disappoint! the complexity of flavor, the locally sourced ingredients, and the joyous staff make Pink Flamingo a true gastronomy.i will spend a little time talking about the two events in the past. Other than the fact that i literally ate 6 chicken salad sandwiches and took one to go at the conference (nuff said). However, in my most recent experience i was driving up Woodward and decided to pop in and see what was on the menu this week. The Quesadilla dinner caught my eye. Three quesadillas, filled with a protein of your choice, come with two sides. For protein, i went with the blackened white fish, and for sides, i chose beans and fried plantains. Rich and piquant flavor on the fish, met by a crispy cheezy quesadilla, all together it was savory and scrumptious. Plus, the sides were perfect additions, the plantains offering a sweet and salty bite and the beans cooked perfectly. Loved every bite and can't wait to make Pink Flamingo a regular lunch spot! Also great storefront, they sell locally made products so it's great to see those dollars stay in the community and the collaborative promotion of other businesses! And the staff were super friendly coming from around the counter to talk with us. Also, for a Friday at 3, the place was not too busy at all. Quiet, easy in and out.If you are having an event, have them cater. If it's Thursday in the summer and you're looking to kick back around a fire and fill your face with nutritious, delicious, and creative food, go to the Cork Town spot (weather permitting).“
