“I was honestly a little nervous walking into this hole-in-the-wall spot but you already know that usually means it’s about to be really good.

I ordered the sesame chicken lunch combo (about $9.15, cash only), and wow… everything was fresh and flavorful. This was my first time trying it since my usual spot was closed on a Monday, and I’m so glad I did. The chicken pieces were big, juicy, and real.. none of that weird fatty stuff.

The guy behind me said he’s been coming here since he was 5 years old, which says a lot.

Only reason for 4 stars is the shrimp fried rice only had about 3 pieces of shrimp, but it was still delicious regardless.

“We were actually walking to a deferent Chinese restaurant but couldn’t find it, we stumbled across this place instead. Very happy we did, food was amazing and reasonably priced. Food is definitely cooked incredibly fresh, our food was piping hot. I got the feeling that is was a local spot, many people came in and out to order or pickup while we were in there. Only 2 things could have made this better, air as that kitchen definitely puts off a lot of heat and a table that was level, but to be fair it’s definitely not a place sit down to eat, more of a takeout spot.“

“This place is my newest favorite Chinese food spot in the Detroit area. It's not traditional Chinese food, it's the Chinese food I grew up with in my home town. The fried rice and lo mein have fresh ingredients and it isn't greesy just to be greesy. I'm particular about the noodles used in lo mein, this place has the right thickness of noodle. Their egg rolls are delicious, crunchy on the outside soft but cooked on the inside. Some places fill an egg roll too much, here they are just perfect. ABC chicken was all white meat, had fresh broccoli and two breaded breasts sliced with a side of gravy and fried rice. I'm excited I found a Chinese food place that has exactly what I want. Just keep in mind, your picking up food in a restaurant maybe 2 people are working in, so don't be impatient or disappointed they don't have tables to serve you at. Just be greatful 15 minutes was only 15 minutes.“

“My wife told me she wanted to go here and get some Chinese food. She said she used to go there when she was a kid she know I'm real particular about my Chinese food. I usually go the opposite way but we went there and I tried it. The food was excellent and they gave us. Huge portions it's enough food to eat for 3 days.“

Both were delicious, they even let me sample the honey walnut shrimp. the price point is just fine with other chinese restaurants.Lunch time is busy so avoid it if you can if you are pressed for time. “This new company is excellent the restaurant I remember the old restaurant and they had fallen but this new restaurant China House I oh my God the food is so delicious I did it in remembrance of my husband we used to come after we went grocery shopping and I thought I'd try out the new restaurant he is deceased now so I did a memorial in his behalf today and remember it's of him the food is fantastic fresh the vegetables are fresh the rice is fabulous the fried rice it's fluffy and well cooked I give 10 stars to the chef and the lady at the window was so kind and respectful I mean what a big change thank you the egg rolls were well cooked the egg drop soup sorry the wonton soup I never seen such large wontons and it was magnificent and the crunches that go in the soup we're excellent thank you so much I had a long day and I thought I'd stop and get egg rolls but I said no I'll get my dinner and Rememberance of my husband of 38 years and it is fantastic God bless you thank you and their service is fast and efficient and it's so clean in there is unbelievable and so much room and so much space“
