“My go to Chinese food spot, any day of the week! Their S&S chicken is absolutely delicious! They spice up the s&s sauce with bell peppers and the flavor profile is simply mouth watering! General Tso? Delicious! Want the lo mein? Go for it, it is also delicious! Pepper steak is tender and fresh! Fried rice is perfect! Egg rolls? Delectable! You can't go wrong when choosing Hong Kong Inn!!!“

“Order the pepper steak and the sweet and sour chicken I got the spicy soup I really don't care for it it's kind of blah really no flavor are egg drop soup is very good peppers the pepper steak and rice is very good the sweet and sour chicken was good the egg rolls are very small and they taste okay but I think I'm going to stay with China Star they got the best spicy soup“

“If you want genuine authentic Chinese food, this is the spot. I'm from China and a lot of Chinese places taste not even close. This spot is legit.

I recommend the Beef noodles(it is lean so small bites on the pieces) and their Mapo tofu rice. The fried pork belly is good, but a little overpriced in my opinion. I keep going back.

Best for big lunch or dinner. Food comes slow sometimes but it is always freshly cooked, it is worth the wait.

I usually go there around 6-7 and it is always not very busy.“

“PF Chang's just doesn't taste great anymore. I've gotten burned so many times at several locations post covid that I refused to order on our Mother's Day outing. At least 3 guests were unsatisfied. My family is stuck on PF Chang's, though. I don't understand it. The cocktails are a losing bet too.

Father's Day I dared to try my go to. Crispy Honey Chicken and a side of Lo Mein. The chicken seemed different than pre covid but at least tasty.. a lil too sour and peppery? Which is hard to achieve for me. I ordered the Midnight Gallop, and for some reason I was served a non-alcoholic version (Refresher). I guess I'm glad because virtually every other time we've gotten alcohol, we regretted it. Their wine is fine, the Dragon Fruit Crush is bomb. But we had to send the old fashioned back cuz it didn't taste like any liquor. Just some nasty mixer. Enough is enough.“

“We have dined for breakfast on various occasions. The tastes of the foods was amazing. The presentation of the plates was breath taking, absolutely beautiful. The only shortfall we found in the restaurant was the BLINDING sun on the East side windows. A good set of adjustable blinds would be a welcomed addition on those East side windows. All in all, the food was so good and so hot, the presentation was beautifully displayed and the staff were friendly and well experienced. We will come back and recommend restaurant to others.“

“I used to come here over 25 years ago with a friend who lived in the area. Just had them again last week for the first time in 25 years and it's just as good as I remembered! The man who runs this place is so friendly and kind, a pleasure to speak to! The almond Chicken was fantastic! Eggrolls and rice are amazing too! They give you the largest portions I've ever gotten from any Chinese restaurant! It's enough to feed 3 people easily. Prices are fair as well, I will definitely start coming here again when I'm in the area. Delicious!!“

“I met some friends on Saturday morning for breakfast at the Imperial Diner in LaSalle. This was my first visit and I was impressed by the atmosphere and cleanliness of this spacious old time style diner. Our waitress, Valentina, was very friendly and attentive to our needs. I could tell that she clearly enjoys her job, which was evident by her welcoming smile and conversation. I ordered a veggie omelette which included toast and and home fries! It was very good! I would recommend The Imperial Diner if you are looking for a place to meet with a group for breakfast, lunch or dinner!“

“This place has excellent Chinese food you can tell because their phone never stops ringing there’s always people coming and going and I usually have to wait 25 to 30 minutes to get my food which is unusual for Chinese restaurants seeing how it seems like they’re always five minutes long and you can get whatever you want, but if they have good food, you’ll have to wait, which is normally not a problem it’s worth“

“A cozy ramen spot off the beaten road. The interior is lively and fits the food! I would recommend the chicken bao it is a fluffy bao bun loaded with mushrooms 🍄‍🟫, chicken 🍗, and scallions🤤. Their red curry ramen is also the best thing they have (I’ve only been here once) and it’s the only thing I’m ordering from now on.

“I have been a customer and have enjoyed delicious meals since it opened in 1985. We had moved away 20 years ago and whenever we came back to visit we would try to go to Shin Shin whenever possible. Staff have always been very friendly and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed in a meal. Last night my husband and I had a dinner date there. We were not disappointed. “I have eaten here several times over the last few years, the food is always fresh, hot, and the portions are HUGE. The place is a "mom and pop". it's ran by the owners, a husband-and-wife team. Because it's just the two of them when it gets busy it takes them awhile to answer the phone and there could be as much as a 30–45-minute wait for your food. It's also carry out only. If you don't mind the no dine in option or the wait, this will probably be one of the best Chinese food places you have eaten at in the downriver area.“

“I was honestly a little nervous walking into this hole-in-the-wall spot but you already know that usually means it’s about to be really good.

I ordered the sesame chicken lunch combo (about $9.15, cash only), and wow… everything was fresh and flavorful. This was my first time trying it since my usual spot was closed on a Monday, and I’m so glad I did. The chicken pieces were big, juicy, and real.. none of that weird fatty stuff.

The guy behind me said he’s been coming here since he was 5 years old, which says a lot.

Only reason for 4 stars is the shrimp fried rice only had about 3 pieces of shrimp, but it was still delicious regardless.

“Tried this place after my go to Chinese restaurant closed down and this place absolutely blew my old restaurant out of the water! The chicken was so flavorful and crunchy, not that rubbery chicken you get from other places. The egg drop soup was absolutely perfect as well with crispy chips to go with it. And the amount of food you get for the price is insane! You could feed a whole family with one meal! I will absolutely be ordering from here again soon and recommending it to everyone I know. This is officially my new favorite restaurant! I can’t say anything about the atmosphere or the restaurant itself because I used DoorDash, but I’m sure the dining experience is just as lovely!“

“The food here is excellent. Tasty, flavorful, and piping hot in temperature...the way any good restaurant does it. Prices are very reasonable, and the service is helpful and friendly. “Really nice folks and beautiful interesting interior. Been on my list opening 4 months ago. Ordered Pupu Platter, Chinese Scallion Pancakes, Large Chinese Veggies Soup and Chicken Egg Foo Young. Surprised when eating inside no plates or silverware. Everything brought out in to go containers that's okay. Absolutely fantastic Delicious Scallion Pancakes not found in many places. The quart of Spot packed full was good except broth zero flavor like water. Chicken Egg Foo Young nothing like ever had weird crunchy patties with very small amount of gravy. The very good Rice and a mega amount. Egg Roll spot on Wonderful. The bad absolutely worse ever Pupu Platter Chicken Wings dry, Crab Rangoon Yuk, Shrimp heavy batter couldn't taste Shrimp. Ribs just ok, Spring Rolls a winner and what they call Teriyaki Beef I know as Balamaki was great. I'm willing to give them another chance to change my 3 star rating. Great effort by cook just not up to par with dozen other Chinese restaurants in the area.“

No find in capability. I appreciated the extra touch of the space heater at your feet at the counter as it's cold season. Free Oriental style hush puppies were a surprise and tasted good. Egg rolls were fine more cabbage than bean sprouts and tasted good. Our shrimp fried rice was fresh and full of decent sized clean shrimp. The general sao chicken was decent it contained all cuts of chicken white and dark meat, I'm accustomed to all chicken breast so it was different but the sauce great. “I just want to know why it's so hard to give customers duck sauce. 🤔 I asked for extra duck sauce (come to find out there wasn't any in bag at all). I even offered to pay for it because I don't care for soy sauce. I got a total of three packs. This has happened so many times I just need to find another restaurant.“

“I eat at this place about once or twice a month and I only ever get the Steak Kow Combo. It's very flavorful and I hardly feel like im eating the vegetables that they put in there. They just taste like the broth with their respective textures. The ladies that work here are always nice. Can't really say much for atmosphere because it's carry-out only and has been this way for years“

“Sweet & sour chicken is the best to me. I love that they have actual pineapples in the sauce. I usually go down the street to Great Wall for their shrimp fried rice and egg rolls though. I really wish they would remodel the small spot because it's barely standing.

Parking: Not much parking there you will have to park in front of the establishment literally and I don't mean on the street either.“

I haven't had a Pepper steak this good in 40 years since original Wongs in Lincoln Park.
