“Do you have time to kill before leaving Grand Rapids? This local brewery has bites and beers and service that'll keep you busy until your departure. Just a short drive from Gerald Ford Airport, Railtown Brewing offers friendly service and terrific beers to enjoy before you head out of town. Their burger was not too shabby either.“

“We made a reservation and asked for a quieter area and they accommodated without question. Food and drinks were good ... service was good. The bar took a bit to get our orders out but the server was very communicative about where they were in the process. One in our party has a gluten allergy and while they did have gluten free buns available for burgers, there were very limited sides to choose from to swap out for the fries. The server did know about cross contamination from the fryer and returned to the table to say there was gluten in the turkey burger that was ordered. Cole slaw and salad were really the only sides to choose from. One suggestion is to include GF (gluten free) markings on the menu like you have for Vegan and Vegetarian items. It would have made searching the menu so much easier!“

“1st time tonight. I had just happened to see a Facebook post a few weeks back and wanted to check it out. We had the mushrooms for an app. They were really good. I had the burger and my wife had the fish and chips. My burger was really good! My wife has fish and chips about once a week almost and she was really happy with them. Portion was generous. She also liked how much variety the menu has. Needless to say we will be coming back frequently.“

“Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

“Purposely went on a Friday for Steak Night (need to make rez for Steak Night). DELICIOUS, perfectly prepared 28oz. ribeye. Yes….bring your appetite for that one! Best jalapeño poppers I’ve ever had. SUPER friendly waitress. It is LOUD in the original bar area, so you may want to request seating in the addition area. We will be back!“

“This was our first visit to the Nighthawk Grill & Bar. We did not know what to expect and it was definitely busy. Our server was outstanding, managing all the tables that she was in charge of. My wife had potato skins and enjoyed them and I had the cordon bleu chicken sandwich with chips which was very tasty. Their homemade chips are definitely outstanding, you do not need to upgrade to French fries. We will be back.“

“The drinks are very well priced and the bar tenders are wonderful. But because of this the bar is full of drunk people just being extremely loud and trying to get around in the tight setting and bumping into you. The music is also very loud and it was very hard to hold a conversation. I had fun with my friends but this would not be my first choice to come back to.“

She noticed my service dog struggling after being stuck in the airport since 4 am with over 8 hours of delays. Out of the kindness of her heart she offered him some bacon and a small bowl of chicken. it totally saved his day and cheered him right up. Stewart and I will never forget Jodies kindness!“

I would like to give a huge shout out to the manager from last night, I came in believing I had a reservations because I was celebrating my bday but also doing a gender reveal that was done Feb 13th for March 1st but it wasn’t in there system. Instead of turning me around her and some of staff maneuvered and make things work in my favor. The server we had started out great but then became a little rude and I don’t know if it was because of my party downsizing or what but the attitude changed. She started reaching over ppl not saying excuse me so I became a little irritated on my special day. I really wanted to experience more of the food but the way things went it just changed the whole energy for me.
