“We really enjoyed ourselves… huge thanks to office… we forgot our power cord, they had a spare! Good band and comfortable outdoor bar… nice clean& spacious washrooms… but please add some motion sensor lights… transient slips are totally dark!… thanks Algonac for a great stay ❤️?“
“We visited on Wednesday at lunch and came by boat. There was only one other couple in the entire restaurant. I was surprised to see that they have lots of dock space. The sandwiches were good and there is an extensive drink list. Will have to come back when they have live entertainment on the outdoor patio.“

Secondly I tried their soup of the day beef barley and it was great, I wish I got a picture of my main course ?. The complimentary popcorn was mouthwatering.“

The new owners have done a remarkable job restoring the place and they have more they plan to do.Nice courtyard area - live regular music, and very friendly staff! Newport is just around the corner off the main drag Water Street near the beach.“
“Glad San Souci Bar is open again! Even though all new inside, it still looks like the original bar... just nicer! Large selection of nice wines and spirits too, plenty of TVs scattered around for sports.We started with nachos and after enjoying about half of them realized the new chef forgot to add the tomatoes & lettuce. The bartender offered to quickly remedy, but the chips and base was very good so included the photo! Looking forward to coming back again soon.“
