“I'm going to have to keep this short as I have a endless supply of kind words about Hidden King. This place is the definition of hidden gem. The service was absolutely amazing, the inside looks like you're traveling into this super secret club with games at every table. Mark (the owner) is such a chill guy to talk to and very much approachable along with the rest of the staff. The drinks are also absolutely amazing. They have a bunch of creative spins to all of their drinks. If you also don't want to drink they have an assortment of teahaus teas that you can grab too. This place is just such a hidden gem and such a cool place to be.

“We had reservations for 7, and 3 of us were seated very quickly while the rest of the group was parking. Bonus not making us wait for everyone to be there to seat us as some places do. Server was friendly, and communicated with us so that our expectations were well managed and well met! When only 1 bartender is working, knowing that makes it easier to enjoy our visit without wondering where the drinks are, for example. Food was great - it always is! And it was comfortably warm without being too hot. We had a great experience, as we usually do“

“Went out with a couple friends last weekend and ended up at this bar. The vibe was pretty chill, music wasn’t too loud so we could actually talk, which I liked. Bartender was friendly and quick with the drinks, even though the place was kinda busy. They had a decent selection of beers on tap and some good cocktail options too. The food menu wasn’t huge but the wings and fries hit the spot. Overall, a nice spot to hang out for a few drinks without breaking the bank. Would probably come back again.“

“Sava's has been a favorite of ours for many years. It is a quality Ann Arbor restaurant that is always busy and has kept current with modern renovations and frequent menu updates. It can be a casual meal or an upscale experience, whatever you prefer. There is plenty of cuisine variety, yet just a single page of menu items. When we have out-of-town visitors this is one of our go to choices. I suggest making a reservation if dining during a prime time, as they do fill up quickly.“

“We went late at night (for Ann arbor 💀) to this establishment when we found they were open. It was very serendipitous. There was a very cute hostess who invited us in, was super nice and despite them closing the bar in a couple minutes they were able to squeeze in our drinks. I ordered a frozen lychee marg, and got a horrible brain freeze, but it was worth it cause it tasted yummy. The cute hostess walked us out and we had a conversation about our orders. I'm coming here again next time to properly enjoy the vibes and the company of beautiful people. Happy pride month!“

“TLDR; TBP is a very intimate venue with excellent shows. (@Steve Hoffstetter) The Blind Pig did a great job managing our ADA/accommodation and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Regardless of your disability, (or lack of disability), if you have a chance to visit The Blind Pig- do it! You won’t regret it. They went above and beyond, (where so very many other businesses fail) was with our accommodations; as my mother used a cane to get around after breaking her hip. While yes, they legally are obligated to because of the ADA, however, where some places do the bare minimum, like leave people hanging, or make them feel like a burden for asking, TBP makes you feel truly welcome. Faith made sure my phone calls were returned in a very timely fashion (I purchased the tickets a day and a half before the show- she was definitely on it, to respond so quickly with care). Our seats were marked reserved, there were multiple people who could direct us where to go and who to contact (if needed) upon arrival. There’s been something that happened in our family several months ago that hasn’t brought joy to any of us; and seeing my mother relax and laugh, like she hasn’t done in months, made the extra night special. Thank you Faith, Molly, and all the other employees of TBP for making it a truly memorable experience. I can’t wait to see another show there. 💕“

“What a cool spot-

Lived in AA for nearly three years and only discovered this spot after moving away and revisiting. It’s super cool. The courtyard at the back is like something out of a small New England town, maybe even Europe. The system of ordering and having your order called out on a loud speaker was pretty unique, and the overall ambiance was incredibly lively. This spot had a bit of that pre-modernized authentic Ann Arbor feel, before all the chains and big businesses took over. The food was decent too and drinks were perfectly crisp.

“We stopped into The Blue Leprechaun to snag a quick bite to eat before we left Ann Arbor. The place was pretty empty when we got there as it was kind of late, I had my two girls with me. Jay was amazing, treated us like family, played with the girls while they waited for food, did his best to accommodate all three of us. Just an amazing overall experience which I expect nothing less from anything that Perry has his hands on. highly recommend this place anytime that you're in Ann Arbor. “I dined with my 4 year old & two 13 year olds. We all shared two baskets of fries, a Club and a tenders app. Including a beer & Pepsi the total only $50. The real 5 ⭐️ goes to the service staff. I’ve truly never experienced better. My toddler dropped her water glass which shattered under our table. Before I knew what had happened the staff were at our table to help. We stood out of the way where someone helped me dry her pants & replaced her water. The staff cleaned the mess then moped/dried the floor within ~3 min. It was AMAZING. Thank you!!“

The patatas bravas and tortilla were absolute perfection, and the sauce on the steak was unlike anything I've ever tasted before. My only regret is that I couldn't eat any more and had to stop with the three plates.“
