“So far, it's one of the BEST pizza restaurants I've been to since I lived in Michigan. The employees are hard-working locals and have an overall chill vibe no matter race or age. The amount of care and respect they put into the food make you feel like you're eating a home cooked one and not something just rushed to you.“
“The brunch menu here is delicious! Everything we got was so good. The gravy is SO good. The sandwiches were amazing. Loved the mimosas. The atmosphere is great. The service was great. We will absolutely go back again next time we are in town.“
“Dope spot for a quick date night or just to hang out and have fun. The food choices are decent, and there are a variety of drink options. Staff is friendly but honestly appears to be understaffed, so service times were slightly delayed. Overall, I'll definitely continue to go back, especially during their pop-up events.“
“Tasty and delicious food. Fresh, hot and well presented. Had the Broccoli & Ceddar Soup...which tasted homemade. My Aunt had the Onion Soup. Similar to French Onion. It was very good but too many crutons inside she said. Also had the Cauliflower Bites and the flavorful Cod Sliders. Topped that off with the Parmesan Garlic Fries. My Aunt had the Chicken Wrap.Staff was very attentive, nice and really fast! I definitely recommend this place.“
“Thee only Bar I will go to!!! Paul and Mike are thee best Cooks!! Danyielle, Angie, Paige and Bri are thee best servers!!! Brit, Alyssa and Angie are thee best bartenders, the day shift bartenders are thee bomb too and they have thee Best DJ, Thee best Security, and thee Best Owners!!! This is my favorite spot!!! I LOVE THEM ALL!!!“
“The Tap Room is a historic bar in Downtown Ypsilanti. The service is fantastic. Particularly Tawny and Justin, they are amazing! The food is perfect bar food. The whiskey and beer selection are on point. You can shoot pool or just kick back and chill. It’s the perfect neighborhood bar.“
“Wow! This was the first time here. I'm so glad that we stopped by, the bartender tonight was soo sweet and we had a great time. I recommed 10/10. It's very intimate space. So great for date night, girls night, all of the above! I'm bringing my hubby next time. ♥️“
“OMG!! "Andy" made the BEST drink I've EVER had!!! The Whiskey Sour and Tequila Sour...I dream about them!! I can't wait to go back and drink ANY of Andy's AMAZING LIQUID ARTISTRY!!Do yourself a favor and have a drink at Wax Bar!!!“
“Situated in Wayne, Michigan, The Avenue American Bistro distinguishes itself through exceptional culinary expertise. The establishment masters the technique of harmonizing bold flavors, crafting decadent dishes that consistently entice patrons for return visits. Notably, their menu boasts a standout item the crispy chicken sandwiches an exquisite fusion of textures and flavors. Additionally, the inclusion of delightful mocktails deserves attention, as the scarcity of restaurants offering fresh and invigorating mocktails makes The Avenue Bistro stand out. The restaurant's steadfast commitment to delivering a consistently satisfying and flavorful dining experience solidifies its status as a culinary gem.“
“Fresh Hot Fish Fry Friday with some crispy French fries, and tartar sauce. I declined on the Cole Slaw but my brother said it was good. There was a 20 minute wait and the hostess texted us around that time and said our table was ready. I thought this was nice considering it's a bar. Our server was nice and friendly. A number of televisions with a variety of sports on and also Classic Keno.“
“My Aunties and I visited Detroit recently and my cousin suggest we go to Black Rock Bar & Grill. We enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The food was awesome. I actually got to cook my steak on a 750 degree volcanic Rock from Australia. Hopefully they will come to Houston.“
“The food here is incredible, they have a slow cooker out back they use to make their dishes, and it turns out amazing. The sandwiches are my favorite so far. They always have really cool shows and music. The staff are 10/10, and for sober people who like music they have so many N/A options. Great place, great people.“
“I've been going to keystone for years and while it's completely different from where it started. In my opinion, I don't think that's a bad thing. The old school keystone was, to be honest, nerd central. The vibe was quieter, more underground, but the atmosphere didn't feel as welcoming as it does today. Today when you go to keystone you can still geek out with your pinball homies but you're sharing the space with people who are doing all sorts of other things. While this might not be everyone's scene I love the chaotic and lively vibe that comes with bars with several interactive elements. The staff members are some of the kindest and hardworking people I've met. And, personally, this is the only bar I have never had an uncomfortable experience at. As time went on, the crowd at keystone became more and more queer and let me tell you, those gays know how to kick it. Kareoke is great, trivia is great, the shows are great, and the only thing that's not great is the food. As for food, there is no food. Unless you're in the mood for Doritos or stale popcorn. I'm still giving this place 5 stars because despite some of the things that have gone downhill recently, like the food, I always have a good time there.“
“My favorite local place. Food is great and they have awesome daily deals. The staff is friendly and it's always nice to see a team of people who genuinely enjoy running a restaurant together- they've got that at palmer. The daytime bartender Brent has a regular crowd for a reason, the service and conversation at Palmer is above and beyond any eatery nearby it. I've made a lot of friends here and its only been 6 months or so since we moved to Wayne. I try to only go once or twice a week because if I don't put limitations on myself I'll be there everyday!“
“Awful busy this trip, but it happens. Security did opt to go through my backpack by hand, however it was a good call on their part. My laptop, tablets, charging cables, and meds all packed in pretty tight…it looked a fright in 3D scanning machine. They did handle with care and tried to put it back how it was. Only issue here has been lack of clear signage for Lyft/Uber pickup locations.“
“The menu is so big!! Food very tasty, had homemade frys, so good! ? Ribs are meaty and fall off the bone, very good! My boyfriend had the walleye, super good! Best waitress, Judy H, this woman is super efficient, knowledgeable about the menu, very on top of picking up dirty plates, she was awesome!! We will go back just because she was so warm and accommodating, and the food was wonderful ❤️“
“We went on a Friday night and it was packed for the fish fry. My wife got the cod and it was really good and priced accordingly. I got the patty melt and let me tell you, you better be hungry when ordering it, because it was huge. We will definitely be going back. The Lyp family, the new owners who have owned it for about a year are very friendly and doing a great job.“
“The food is fine, honestly. What stings is the post 9-11 airport prices that mean I'm forking over money as if I were in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Manhattan for things I could otherwise get at Panera. The waitress is Wonderful, and very patient with my groggy 'i slept five hours in the last 48' brain and has decent suggestions and didn't even blink when I needed something changed.Vegetarian options: There are some, but this is definitely a place that caters to omnivores, and they don't do substitutions really at all.Dietary restrictions: There is turkey bacon available in lieu of pork, but gluten is pretty prevalent and nothing is exactly healthy or low sodium, say, unless you want the yogurt and fruit.“
“I was in town to photograph the Detroit Free Press Marathon. Some of our photographers stayed at the hotel so we decided to eat there while we had our team meeting. The food was delicious! I got the Hollywood Bacon Cheddar burger with fries. The service was excellent also! It was a nice and cozy atmosphere.“
“ypsi moose is where I grew up with my dad being a member in the early 80's. “Used to be my hang out every night after even week nights, then off to "CHERR'S" (Rene's) for drinks with pool and darts! Miss my friends from the 90s and think of them often!! Great side appts Mini Taco's, fried mushrooms but couldn't beet a Great BarBurger!! Then I could stumble home! ??So happy to know that little bar is still open! Grew up there!“
“Chill place with semi-alt vibe..My husband and I stopped in here for a simple date night dinner. The korean bbq loaded tots were fun with an elevated taste. We ordered thre burger with the fried green tomato & house made pimento cheese - absolutely delectable. However the charizo tacos were very greasy and lacked the excitement that the other two dishes shined with. Their ciders and beers are of the plently. Cannot wait to return and try something different (;“
“Evelyn provided good service. Mixed drink hit the spot. Nicely toasted rye bread with sliced turkey, cole slaw and Swiss cheese. Two machines to buy lottery or scratchers and music not too loud. Loud drunk lady more entertaining than disruptive. Not on our regular rotation of dinner spots but probably should be.“
“5 stars for Diamondback Music Hall! The music is energizing, and the revamping of the venue is top notch. I was there for NYE and, I have to tell ya, what a party!!! The Gatsby theme was spectacular, the band was very entertaining, the acrobatic girls in the hoops were impressive and the balloon drop was amazing. Can't wait to see what they have scheduled for the summer. Shout out to Raquel the bartender! She makes a mean green tea shot! :)“
