“I have been wanting to eat here for such a long time, finally had the chance to. We had a group of 6, no wait, quick/friendly service from Hannah. I ordered the black & Bleu burger, unfortunately the patty was quite black and the amount of blackened seasoning was extreme. I had to scrape it all off the burger to make it edible. 4 out of the 6 loved their food, surf & turf cheese steak, coconut shrimp and perch were delish.”

Let me say I'm the most experienced critical native Finnish successful restaurant owner reviewer listed here and I've never ever had a better pasty. In fact let me even blow them up more some of the best food to hit my taste buds in a long time. To the no gravy Boy ..... ketchup is a dusguise and you don't need salt or pepper when they are cooked properly. Must try I bought 3 in less then 18 hours”

“We were looking for a local spot to get some coffee on vacation and this coffee shop cannot be beat! We tried two other locations that were nice as well, but came back to this one daily. The atmosphere is amazing, drinks were delicious with unique flavors like the baklava inspired latte. They also have a stellar drip coffee. Loved looking at the art on the walls, the collections throughout the room, and the lovely large plants up front! The staff were super kind and personable, and directed me to where we could find local pottery. The coffee shop serves cocktails in the evening, and even has live music events. We did not make it to those, but I’m sure it’s a great spot for night activity in this quaint town.”

“Awesome beer! I never thought I’d like piss but the Great Unicorn Piss is off the hook good… smooth like an ale up front, but it has the hop finish you would expect from a hazy IPA. Two thumbs up from a Texas beer snob. My biggest regret is that I won’t be able to get this beer once I wander back down south. Any way you could share this recipe with Shiner so they could make it for us down here? I did pickup a couple sixers in Lake Orion, so I will savor every drop of my stash until you get down this way. “My husband and I visited last week and we were blown away!!! The staff was super friendly, the cocktails were perfect, the Calamari was outstanding and the casino butter made me drool a little. The bone marrow burger was the best I've ever had, the Whitefish Triangoli was a treat for the senses and the Umami fries were a culinary delight! We tipped the kitchen as well because the food they're putting out is TOP NOTCH, that comes from a team that works well together and it shows. Kudos Traceys on an Excellent dining experience, you are a true gem to the UP❤️❤️❤️”

“Recently visited the upper peninsula. Let me tell you what a gem. Came across needing a quick meal and happened to find Toby’s doghouse. The women at the window was very personable and went out of her way to explain board with food. Burger was probably one of my favorite I had in a long time. Used quality meat and a nice in-house made burger. Way to go staff for exceeding my expectations!”

“Even we got there few minutes after the closing time we were served with great hospitality, willingness to attend to us in a very friendly and pleasant matter even I was a bit picky in choosing 5 big & golden brown pieces of smoked white fish. We went to the hotel straight and one piece satisfied our craving but easily we could have eat a second if not a third nothing better than fresh smoked white fish 🫶🤩”

“We are locals and want to say it was a great breakfast. Place was busy. We had the option of waiting 15 minutes for a table or taking a couple seats at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. The waitress took our drink order right away. We ordered a cinnamon roll to split before we ordered breakfast. It was the most delicious roll I have even eaten. Our food came within 10-15 minutes and was also delicious. We watched the staff and they all worked together to get orders out on a timely basis. We have been there before and will definitely go back again!! Good job Earl e. Byrds!”

“We visited this Subway on the night of July 4th after searching everywhere for food. Most places were closed, but thankfully this location was open until midnight. We arrived around 11 PM and found a huge line—clearly, we weren’t the only ones grateful they were still open!

Despite the crowd, Paul and Don were incredibly patient, kind, and efficient. They kept taking orders until 11:30 PM and continued working past closing time, serving everyone who had entered before the cutoff. Some customers had customizations, but both Paul and Don handled every request with care and professionalism.

They went above and beyond, staying until almost 1 AM just to make sure everyone was fed. Their dedication and work ethic were truly impressive, and we’re so thankful for their service. They made a stressful night so much better!

“Visited the Hardee’s in Munising at the end of July while traveling through the Upper Peninsula, and it was a great stop! The store was spotless—floors, tables, and restrooms all looked freshly cleaned. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. As out-of-state visitors, we appreciated their warm welcome and great menu recommendations.

They suggested a couple of signature combos that really hit the spot—the Frisco Burger Combo was perfectly grilled with crispy fries, and iced tea. Also the Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders Combo was fresh, juicy, and delicious. Service was quick, and everything came out hot and fresh. Staff was kind and professional
