“I have been wanting to eat here for such a long time, finally had the chance to. We had a group of 6, no wait, quick/friendly service from Hannah. I ordered the black & Bleu burger, unfortunately the patty was quite black and the amount of blackened seasoning was extreme. I had to scrape it all off the burger to make it edible. 4 out of the 6 loved their food, surf & turf cheese steak, coconut shrimp and perch were delish.”

“I have tent camped here several times, and it is always clean and quiet. It is in a great location, close to Munising. There is easy beach access close to any of the sites. The sites are shady and fairly private, with picnic tables and fire rings.”

“We were looking for a local spot to get some coffee on vacation and this coffee shop cannot be beat! We tried two other locations that were nice as well, but came back to this one daily. The atmosphere is amazing, drinks were delicious with unique flavors like the baklava inspired latte. They also have a stellar drip coffee. Loved looking at the art on the walls, the collections throughout the room, and the lovely large plants up front! The staff were super kind and personable, and directed me to where we could find local pottery. The coffee shop serves cocktails in the evening, and even has live music events. We did not make it to those, but I’m sure it’s a great spot for night activity in this quaint town.”

“Recently visited the upper peninsula. Let me tell you what a gem. Came across needing a quick meal and happened to find Toby’s doghouse. The women at the window was very personable and went out of her way to explain board with food. Burger was probably one of my favorite I had in a long time. Used quality meat and a nice in-house made burger. Way to go staff for exceeding my expectations!”

“We just had a fabulous meal at this little gem of a restaurant in Munising, Michigan. I highly recommend it. The meal was both innovative and cooked to perfection. There isn’t much in this little town , but this restaurant is fine dining at its best.”

“Our local DQ has fast and super friendly service. Most of them our our local high school kiddos getting some customer service under their belts. It speaks volumes about our community. Very family oriented and very polite, easy to laugh with and get along. I love our small town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula 💕💕💕”

“We are locals and want to say it was a great breakfast. Place was busy. We had the option of waiting 15 minutes for a table or taking a couple seats at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. The waitress took our drink order right away. We ordered a cinnamon roll to split before we ordered breakfast. It was the most delicious roll I have even eaten. Our food came within 10-15 minutes and was also delicious. We watched the staff and they all worked together to get orders out on a timely basis. We have been there before and will definitely go back again!! Good job Earl e. Byrds!”

“the ambiance is great! everyone was friendly and welcoming. they didn't just "serve" food they continued to make sure we were taken care of. the music selection was peppy and we were surrounded by books, plants and play structures for kids. I wish we had something like this in Marquette. the only downside was 88+ degrees and no air conditioner!”

“When I was passing through town, I stopped here to get a quick sandwich and meal to go. It is a very popular place as there is a very long line. The staff were very friendly, although they were having a little trouble, figuring out how to use some of the equipment. They were probably just new, so they probably just needed a little more experience. There was some parking on the side, but there wasn’t enough for everyone, so you might want to park in the back if possible.

“I ordered online because it was across the street from my hotel room. There were only 2 employees working the whole store. They had a sign on the window asking for patients because they were understaffed. The one man working both the drive through and front was still very friendly and nice which is rare to see these days in the fast food industry. My order was made fast and correct.”

“Foggy’s was recommended by a local so we thought we’d give it a try. Hands down the best filet mignon I’ve ever had in my 57 years of life! Cooked to perfection, delightfully seasoned and was so tender it seriously melted in my mouth. Highly recommend!!!”

It's the cutest little place and super clean . They do close early October for the winter but re- open in the spring . They also have painted rock boat tours !”
