“Had been a go to place for ice cream over several years. But had been a while since I moved out of Auburn Hills. Grabbed the opportunity to stop by when I had a meeting on that side. Can never go wrong with whatever you pick from the menu. Very helpful staff. Had a guest from out of town and he was amazed by the quality and service.“

“Our PTO has been using Gray’s Suga Shack for a few years now for all our ice cream truck treats for our elementary students. His ice cream selection is amazing, CLEAN beautiful truck. very reasonable prices and pleasant staff. We’ve also rented the inflatables, dunk tank, cotton candy machine, etc! We’ve rented pretty everything he has and he’s always exceeded our expectations. The owner Paul is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet! His wife Misty is great also! Love them both! They care about their business and are very attentive to their customers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!“

“I am a VIP customer and Marsha (the owner) is a friendly and great person. She strives to do her best and encourages her staff to do the same, in taking pride in hers and their work. The crepes are so delicious and the bubble teas are super good too. If you love frozen yogurt, custard, and ice-cream (even dairy free), it's all there. Flavors change constantly and are yummy. Bring the family in and play some games and enjoy some goodies. :) You won't be disappointed. I go everyday and it's great!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!“

“We have come here a handful of times and it is such a treat to see happy staff, who keep the lines moving, and even didn’t seem to mind my overly excited, borderline hyperactive kids! The cookies, of course never disappoint! And I have discovered CURBSIDE! They never take too long. Maybe 5% slower on weekends. But what do you expect with a product like cookies?🍪“

“We ordered four flurries. There was barely any candy. It was a cup of soft mixed custard with whipped cream on top. I felt like I had a thick vanilla shake. Worst flurries we have ever been served due to the lack of candy bits. I do not like candy overload, but there was a bit of candy in only three of the bites of the entire flurry.“

“I love this place, especially nice that it's open late. The hotdogs are really really good quality, everything is delicious. The guy running the counter when we normally go is always so friendly and accommodating. Definitely some of the better fast food in the area and you can tell a lot of love goes into the food being made.“

“Our local Baskin Robbins in downtown Lake Orion did a spectacular job on my son's birthday cake this month! Their edible paper printer was broken so they gave me options of how to print myself, and also offered to decorate by hand as best as they could. They knew my son wanted a Harry Potter cake so they made the Gyfindor crest in chocolate and it was such a hit! The cake was ready for my dad to pick up 10 minutes late which wasn't a big deal because it was a lot more work to decorate by hand than they had planned. The decorative cookie sandwiches did melt by the time the cake got to my freezer so I will not order that design again but that's my own fault, not theirs! 9/10 would recommend and will be ordering my daughter's cake for next monthf rom them as well!“

“Great product with genius marketing. This location needs help. Staff was nice, but we stop often. Mistakes more than once so order needed to be redone, and I was also handed a box with icing all over the bottom. Overall decent place. I'm sure employees will improve with time and management.“

“**update12/2/21**I went back today and the manager was the nicest guy!! We talked about the cost of everything going up and I honestly want to say our chat made me want to pay the higher prices. The shake is delicious, as always, way better then any other place, but the customer service is unmatched. So happy I went back!! If you know any hard workers send them there, because they are hiring and need more great ppl working there like the manager!!Just an FYI, the prices have definitely gone up. I usually pay about $6.88 for a small dulce de leche shake from here. Today it cost $8.96 so this is the last time I'll buy a milkshake from them. Shake shake it is for me.“

“After a rough day, we decided to lift our spirits with some ice cream and headed to Menchie’s.

The atmosphere was nice and inviting. There were a few people sitting and enjoying their treats, but it wasn’t busy at all.

I tried the pineapple coconut smoothie frozen yogurt, which is both gluten-free and vegan. Unfortunately, it didn’t hit the mark for me—it was really sweet and lacked strong pineapple or coconut flavors. I ended up giving it to the kids. I was hoping it would be closer to the pineapple flavor they had before.

Even though that flavor wasn’t my favorite, I would still recommend Menchie’s! This location was friendlier than the last one I visited, they have a good selection, and lots of toppings to choose from. I also appreciate that they charge by weight, so you can get as much or as little as you want.“

“My granddaughter and I went to DQ yesterday for my birthday. We like this particular DQ. Workers are friendly. She got a triple chocolate brownie and I got my usual Peanut Buster Parfait. We sat outside at a picnic table and enjoyed the weather and our ice-cream. Fun times.“

“Cold Stone is great, but this particular location is on a different level. The owner Todd has gone above and beyond for me on multiple occasions. The staff is friendly, and even the younger staff members have excellent customer service skills. There’s a young woman manager there, Olivia I believe, she does a fantastic job as well. Very helpful and polite.

There are closer locations to me, but I go out of my way to this one because the customer service and quality are just that much better. Not to mention they do a fantastic job on the custom cakes! 10/10 - absolutely the best.“

“Lake Orion's Dairy Queen is the best! I want to thank the staff who took care of my mother today! My dad stopped into get my mother her ice cream and forgot his wallet. My mother has dementia and my father cares for her. He had her count out the change in his car to hopefully have enough for the ice cream she loves. They refused his money and said to come back again and bring his wallet. Thank you! This warmed my heart and reminded me there is always good to be found even during these crazy times!“
