“My fiancé and I absolutely love this little ice cream spot. We drive a decent way to get over here and we'll never miss them for a sweet treat when they're open. The people who work here are very efficient, I've never had an issue. The portions are perfect, exactly what you ask for & it tastes amazing every time. So glad we found it. There are benches to sit on, you don't ever go inside but it's right by the shopping area so there's a lot to do while you have your scoop.“
“Loved every part of it!! Customer service was fantastic -- Jordan was so professional, friendly, and helpful. Ice cream was delicious with so much variety. Lots of vegan options. The regular size is really big -- definitely big enough to share. We'll definitely be back!“
“Cane across Gilly's from Hour Detroit's nomination of best ice cream places of 2024. This doesn't disappoint! I recommend the Yellow Snow. They have a huge variety of options, and the lady is just beaming with a smile. I came in on one of the warmer days in February, and I will definitely return for the spring!“
“Great experience! Lots of games to choose from and plenty of time in the arcade. Staff was very polite. Kelly went out her way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves and had the opportunity to challenge a staff member. I challenged Kelly to speed of light which I was close but didn’t quite win. Will be back again to challenge her and hopefully win this time!“
“Occasionally, when a craving for chocolate strikes, I make my way to this hidden gem. Nestled in charming Berkley, Clark’s Ice Cream is a delightful sanctuary for ice cream aficionados. With its diverse selection of flavors and affordable prices, it easily rises to the top of the list. Now, let's dive into the highlight: the ice cream.? Indulge in the peanut butter cup flavor without hesitation—it's absolutely divine! Your taste buds and soul will thank you indefinitely. ?“
“The collabs Rays pulls off is 10/10. First the Franklin cider mill doughnut, working with cookie boys for their cookie/ice creams, and then add in the Girl Scout cookie szn - they nail it. Innovative and forward thinking! Excited to see what's to come.... The charming atmosphere feels like a true parlor. Also THE SCOOPS - massive. Need I say more!?“
“Went there for a blue moon shake and a strawberry banana smoothie. While making it, the slush machine went down. The workers were so incredibly nice and kind. They did their best to give me the strawberry banana smoothie despite the issues with the machine and it was the BEST - I mean BEST strawberry banana smoothie i ever had. This has been my favorite place since childhood and continues to steal my heart every time! Thank you again!!“
“From the first phone call to the event, could not have gone better! Lori was amazing, professional, informed, great communication throughout. We had over 1200 people at our annual church picnic who look forward to ice cream and Meadowbrook didn't disappoint.Lori suggested crowd favorites that were spot on. Veronica was so helpful with delivery and pick up after the picnic. Will DEFINITELY be using Meadowbrook again next year.“
“The atmosphere is new, modern and fresh. Thr cookies are above average at best. They typically have like 6-8 flavors to choose from and they switch out the flavors every other week or once a month. I think some locations offer mini sized cookies. A fun fact: they do have their own ice-cream. Some locations don't have cashiers, just a computer you manually order at. Packaging is cute. They can add a small sticker for a ily, hbd, best wishes, things like that. Cookies are about $3.99-6.99 depending how you buy them (higher quality are cheaper).Vegetarian options: They only make cookies or ice-cream so safe to assume it's not vegetarian friendly.Dietary restrictions: Ask them if you have dairy allergies or nutallergy. .Parking: Decent area to park, lots of doordasher at this location thoughKid-friendliness: Fun place to take a kid or a teenager!Wheelchair accessibility: They have wide enough doors for a wheelchair. There are no stairs. Flat walkway and sidewalk.“
“Coming here for 20+ years Best homemade REAL ice Cream.Seriously ALL Vicki's Ice cream is made in house & still Vickis Prices are the best around. All The classics & Many unique flavors/combinations, something new everytime I go.Nostalgic retro shop with original throwback decor. “I’m visiting in from Chicago for the weekend. I discovered this place on Friday night and absolutely fell in love. Returned on Saturday night and am seriously thinking about coming again Sunday afternoon before I leave. Erma’s is that AMAZING!! The Peanut butter parfait is heaven. The custard puff with hot fudge is just as delicious.“
“delicious sugar free pumpkin latte, they made the recommendation and I loved it. Very friendly people. Only my 3rd time there bc its out of my way, but was at the Hawk across the street and whipped in there on the way home for a cold treat on a nice sunny fall day.“
“I used to frequent Rita's often when I lived in Maryland. I was ecstatic when this location opened up now that I'm back home in Michigan. I love this place - great Italian ice and amazing custard. The flavor variety here is the best. Italian ice is fresh and fruity. I highly recommend you visit especially on warm and hot spring or summer days. They are open seasonally. Some of the nicest people work here. Me and my daughter are regulars!“
“Good but expensive cookies! That chocolate chocolate and that chocolate chip cookie one is life! Sad part is they don't sell what you like all the time because they menu changes weekly. But that's not enough to get four stars. On the most part you're a five-star business“
“Sweet Spots in Farmington Hills is just the best place for a kids' party, and I can't recommend it enough! We just celebrated my daughter Kennadee's 12th birthday there, and it was amazing from start to finish. The place is like a wonderland for young girls. They have everything! My daughter and her friends got to do their hair and makeup, sing their hearts out at karaoke, strut their stuff in a fashion show, and play fun games like limbo. It's like every fun thing they could imagine, all in one spot. The food and treats were out of this world too. There was cotton candy and all kinds of snacks that the kids loved. But let me tell you, the real star of the show was the ice cream. Pauline, the owner, has this massive selection of flavors and toppings. The kids had a blast making their own ice cream creations. They felt like they were in a movie, like they'd stepped right into Willy Wonka's chocolate factory or something. Pauline is just the nicest person and made sure everything was perfect. She really cares and goes out of her way to make the party special. She even got a butterfly piñata, knowing how much my daughter loves butterflies. It's those little touches that make a big difference. It's not just a business for her; you can tell she loves making kids happy. And another great thing? It's affordable. We looked at places like Zap Zone, Urban Air, and Bonaventure, but Sweet Spots gave us so much more for our money. It's a unique experience that doesn't break the bank. If you're looking for a place to make your child's party unforgettable, you have to check out Sweet Spots in Farmington Hills. It's a place where kids can just have a blast, feel special, and make memories they'll always remember.“
“I’m not a huge donut fan, but Elias donuts has changed that for me. As soon as my husband and I walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and offered a hot, fresh donut. It was so warm, fluffy and creamy. That one free sample converted me, and we ended up buying way more than we intended to. We left with huge order of staff recommended donuts and nothing disappointed. I can’t wait for my next visit!“
“Super friendly staff they we’re able to help me make a decision with having so many delicious varieties to choose from so I got the gluten free chocolate chip cookie. I even tried their ice cream and their gluten free brownies. wow so delicious also.. Id give 10 stars if I could.. totally recommend ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️???“
“The best! A Rochester Hills staple! ⏳ BE PREPARED TO WAIT! ⏱️ Usually under the Heat of the Hot ☀️ Sun too !?Ohhhh but It is totally WORTH IT though, I can promise you that!! ? VERY long Lines in the summer! ⚠️ But it does go by fast & I've never had a bad experience with a single one of the employees. Even if there is a simple mistake here & there. SPEAK UP! They have no problem helping to rectify whatever it is.FINALLY, PLEASE REMEMBER TO ALWAYS LEAVE A TIP FOR THE PEOPLE WORKING!! They work VERY HARD in that little sweltering shack all summer long! HAVE A WONDERFUL SEASON ✌? We'll Be Ready & Waiting For Your Return In The Spring!! ??“
“favorite place to get ice cream in livonia. the only place i’ve ever gotten cookie dough topping where it’s NOT stale. every time it’s so soft and fresh. not to mention the staff is super sweet and helpful. it always looks super clean as well.“
“After our visit, we definitely will have to come back because the food, service, and ambiance were on point. The staff was uber friendly and knowledgeable. They did not have creamer in the condiment station (red flag for me; I don't do mini moos). However, they offered to pour in real half and half for me, that they store behind the counter. The coffee was delicious, strong, and fresh. We had sugar cookies and baklava. Wonderful. The bakery cases were massive and large selection. The staff greeted us from the kitchen and walked towards the counter to help us.The seating is limited, but we were able to relax in the cozy sitting area with fireplace. Lots of light; bright, and vibrant colors. They offer ice cream too.Overall, excellent.“
“It's now called Matt & Mo's Italian Beef but the sign still says Doug's. OMG! Just like my favorite Chicago Italian beef place!!!! I ordered 2 combo's dipped. It was a sloppy heavenly sandwich that tasted like authentic Italian beef and sausage (combo) I grew up with. Was about $15 per sandwich and worth every single penny. It's enough for two people, but why share? With flavors that good, you'll wish you ordered your own...or even another one to go! I did. I've been looking for an authentic Italian beef place since I loved to Detroit in 1980. I've finally found it. The shoestring fries are also worth the $5, so get some of those, too. I'll definitely be back! Try them, they are superb.“
“I love the rolled ice cream at this place, it's very delicious and is made super quickly. The prices are also super fair. My only complaint is that the chairs at the tables are way too small and uncomfortable unless you're really quite skinny.“
“This place is 5 stars because no matter how long the line. Those workers will get it down in minutes. Cash is king there! The quality of the product is always consistent. Absolutely loved dairy o! I even got a pop socket to remember them by.“
“The Maiko special offers a little bit of everything for you to try. Definitely enough to share for two people for a responsible dessert.A bit cold there in the winter and you'll only feel colder in the winter months while you eat ice cream. Was pretty quiet there when we went and the staff seemed to be prepping a bunch of items in the back, but was still able to take care of us.If you like matcha it's worth a stop to try out, as the matcha ice cream itself was very tasty on its own without any of the toppings or goodies.“
“I had never heard of this ice cream but now after trying it, I wish I could get it locally. We live about an hour away but I'm very happy we happened upon this ice cream shop. One day I'll return for more ice cream and I can't wait!!! We tried chocolate coconut almond and cashew caramel (sorry not positive about the names) but truly creamy and yummy.“
“Still the best around! I tried to stay away but everything here is just so good- frozen latte today! So rich that I really don't want to know what's in there, lol And somehow everyone that works here is always the nicest- been that way for years“
“I am a custard lover, and this place is one of my favorite.I love the mild sweet taste, and the rich buttery milk. They have a nice menu, I tried many different choices but my favorite is the waffle cone dipped in chocolate and salty caramelized pecan drizzle. It's a happy treat.Cannot cross Woodward without making a stop there!“
“Pretty decent location. It's a walk up window. The Ice cream reminds me of Dairy Queen. I had the chocolate chip cookie dough tornado. Soft serve ice cream with chocolate chip cookie dough and hot fudge. Reminds me of the Dairy Queen blizzard. I went on a Sunday in the late afternoon. The line was not very long. There is outdoor seating. Quite a few people we're sitting outside, which was a good sign to me.“
“This is a small drive up soft serve Custard stand located on the Southside of 12 Mile Rd, just east of John R. Rd. It’s very small and has two windows, one for ordering and paying and one for pick ups. It’s the type of place you grew up with, because their used to be one in every neighborhood. The most important thing here is a Custard, if you come here. It’s really as good as it gets for a soft serve custard! If you’re in the neighborhood and wanna treat this place, can’t be beat! ?“
“I ordered off door dash. I ordered fried Oreos, and the Carmel apple egg rolls, they also gave me an order of the peach egg rolls as a thank you for ordering. Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! DELICIOUS!!!! I will definitely be ordering more... And thank y'all very much for the gift ? I thought that was really sweet ? I am now a lifetime customer“
“I've been going here for 55 years and it's still the same, same family have ran it for the past 60 years. Great quality and service. Rotating special flavor of the week a definate bonus. Please give it a try I'm sure you will like it.There is almost always a line but it's well worth the wait.“
“OMG. Best pizza we have had in a very long time. I've stalked them on Facebook for awhile. We were in Detroit for training and we grabbed 2 pies on the way to our hotel. Holy crap. As close to pizza perfection as you can get. Whenever we go to another city or state, I always look up best rated pizza places so we have had a lot of good pizza. Pie-Sci is in the top 2 of all the pizza places we've had. it makes me sad that they are 3 hours away but it will become a must stop when we are near.“
“Golden cone is the cutest mom and pop ice cream shop downtown royal oak. They are only open in the summer though. They use guernsey farms dairy so I feel good about shopping local, plus it's really high quality. I have been bummed because they used to carry my favorite flavor- peanut butter cookie dough and I haven't seen it in a while. I have been getting lavender honey in the meantime, which is good but miss my pb cookie dough!“
“We love The Dairy Treat! The owners are amazing people and their staff members are always so friendly. We love their flurries but they have awesome food!! Their coney dogs and chili cheese fries are delicious!!! We drive 40 minutes to enjoy their food, ice cream and to see the friendly faces at Dairy Treat!!“
“Who knew that there was a Sanders on Main Street in Rochester? Probably everyone but me but I'm glad to join the club. We were looking for a place that could give us a malt on a Sunday and Sanders did not disappoint. The store reminds me of childhood trips to get candy and ice cream. Applause for the sweet treats and stirring fond memories.“
“I can comfortably state that this is generally some of the best ice cream in Metro Detroit. Top five. The reason is that they offer a dairy-free option that is more than tasty. In fact, I have driven six or 7 miles out of my way just to purchase when I’m in the mood for ice cream.Their choices change over the years, but generally they have had chocolate and vanilla options made out of both soy and/or rice milk. If you choose, you can then add any ingredients just like any other traditional dairy product. Although this may sound small, this is still difficult to find at a reasonable price.Even though it is approximately 1/2 drive-through and 1/2 window service, the employees move swiftly. Pricing is what you would expect within our local community, so it is fair and reasonable. If you are in the Berkley area and anyone in your group appreciates a non-dairy choice, this is an awesome option.Dietary restrictions: They have a variety of nondairy options from year to year.Kid-friendliness: Sundays and sprinkles for kids“
“Not much to say but your average DQ. They do not have a grill so truly just your basic ice cream, blizzard, cones and shakes. They do have cakes which you can never go wrong with. I have been guilty of getting a cake here just because for the fudge and chocolate crunchies in the middle!! Nice staff and can always get in and out quickly.“
“Today I was introduced to a lavender coffee drink by a lovely barista, Susie. What a surprisingly delightful flavor! I would not have been tempted to try this, however, the conversation with Susie changed my mind. Her kindness brought a sparkle to my day --- thank you!! I look forward to returning and telling others about this new coffee spot discovery!“
“Shout Out to Donyelle Anderson and Here's The Scoop Ice Cream truck for taking the time out of their busy day to circle back and selling the Lume Southfield team some of the best ice cream I've had in a VERY long time. I had the Superman and Y'ALL...I almost cried. Make sure to follow them on all socials so you too can enjoy the "Here's the Scoop" experience.“
“#soulfood #michigan #losangeles @elambrothers @boiiboyasaper I most say I stop by today for the first time for lunch and not only was it a great choice for a food sunday but an amazing experice I had pork chops an man ! “Satisfies the sweet tooth for all ages & pups too! Family owned & operated friendly business. Been going there since I was a small child. One of my favorite go to ice-cream places! Have Holiday Specials & Promotions all the time.“
“I was here for business . The hotel was nice and clean . It was great for the group I was with had a 144 people. The bar area was nice and able to keep up with this large group. I had one issues with my room the shower curtain was moldy and they promptly replaced it with a new one . The staff was polite and helpful .“
“This place has a very cool vibe. The name is Urbanrest Brewing Co. Other than soft serve ice cream, they do not serve food, which is too bad to not serve at least appetizers, but they have some great food trucks, so check out what truck is going to be there if you are hungry. But beers are where they shine. Great variety, knowledgeable staff.“
“Really unique and tasty yogurt spot. Cakes, and build it yourself yogurt with a good variety of flavors. Lots of toppings you can add yourself, in fact I was really surprised at how much variety was available for toppings, things I've never seen like gummy sharks and white choco chips. The staff was very friendly. With only a couple of tables inside, you will probably want to sit at the outside tables. Parking is at a minimum really close to the building. You will probably need to park in one of the main lots and walk. It's located in a wonderful and safe little village with lots of shopping.“
“The employee behind the counter was great! So 5/5 on service. She was really nice to my kids. The yogurt was really good and a solid selection of flavors. Toppings were same. Many to pick from and all delicious! The store was super clean and well lit. Overall, we were soooo happy to find that there is a Yogurt City right here in our city! We attended were there at 9:15 pm on 9/08/23.“
“Diary Queen is extremely good, they don't have any other food choices, but all types of milkshakes, sundaes, blizzards, ice cream cones, dilly bars, and much more, it is a go to place always. I highly recommend this dairy queen you will never be disappointed, I'll be going again very soon.“
“The product is always good. Except, the man (who I believe is the owner if I'm not mistaken) who took my order made me feel slightly uncomfortable. I had 2 items in my order, I didn't even get done with ordering my first item and he was already rushing me to the total. And as I continued ordering. He made a comment saying "oh. I didn't hear you say that". Because he didn't even give me the chance to finish ordering...I also overhead the convo with the car he had in front of me as well as the vehicle behind me in the drive thru line, and the man just isn't pleasant to speak to and probably shouldn't be taking customers orders.“
“This location is worth going out of your way for. Friendly staff, well stocked and excellent service. I had a special order Mud Pie created, and it was beyond my expectations. Other locations can have limited product and bare pre-made freezers. This one is 5 stars all the way!Dietary restrictions: 2 no sugar added options for diabetics.“
“What an amazing nostalgic place to grab a bite and a shake. I stopped by here after dinner and got a classic chocolate malt and it was amazing! One of the best I've had. The service was amazing and the girl working was so cheerful. Truly an awesome spot to go to anytime of year.“
“Service is quick, despite there being queues - this usually happens on hotter days. Go prepared with some cash, as they don't accept cards.Parking: It is possible to park in front or on the side streetKid-friendliness: Place frequented by families with children“
