50 Best Ice Cream Shops near Pontiac

“Truly a Hidden Gem! Food is Delecious! I've lived here in Pontiac for 9 years and today is my first time knowing about this place. I will Definatly be ordering from here again. My Only issue is I made a order and instead of giving me a option too choose something different, they automatically email me they did'nt have it and automatically refunded my money back on my card which caused me too have too make a whole extra order which meant I had too pay a additional delivery and tax fee around $11 dollars, aside from the order that was already paid for. So I end up paying a extra $11 dollars for my two orders that were delvered together.“

“The taste is awesome 😍 love to eat“

“Best soft serve in the city. Come check them out.“

“best icecream in Pontiac!“

“great store always happy with the service and always clean“

“Took my daughter and her friends for a sweet treat here on her birthday and we LOVED everything about it. The dipped ice cream bars were ahhhmazing. We tried 3 different flavors and all were a hit. I personally had the sweet and salty and I still can’t stop thinking about it a day later. Staff were so kind, patient, and friendly. And the place is picture perfect to document your experience. Can’t wait to visit again with my husband and sons who didn’t join us.“

“I was blessed by Karen, the owner. I didn't look at the hours. I was just told that I could get superman ice cream there on a cone. When I arrived they were closed. I tapped on the window and explained that I was on my way back to NC and would pay double for my ice cream. Even though they hadn't opened yet, she serviced me and wouldn't allow me to pay her. I tried showing my ID she still would not take my payment. I say God bless you, Karen for making this big kid happy! 🥰🥰“

“this place is AMAZING! me and my boyfriend come as much as we can.
the icecream is rich, creamy and full flavored.
they're family owned, they're open when the branded competitor isn't. 😏
acknowledge us promptly, and are super attentive, and by the time we order, it's up in the window.
i love the QT. my guy enjoys a oreo milkshake.
it's worth a drive from Pontiac To BHam EVERY. TIME.

“We stopped there for a break while walking the Clinton River Trail. They have quality items and friendly service. I used to go to Dairy Queen all the time, but this place feels more like a family-owned business, with that same friendly, welcoming atmosphere.“

“Loved the custard great service and employees!“

“Took a whole group of students there today. One girl alone, but cheerful and helpful and served everyone with a smile. Clean, old-style ice cream parlor. Would definitely recommend!“

“We love Custard Corner! 🍦🍨“

“The Best place to work! Great people, wonderful customers, Great fun, Best time of my life! <3“

“If you have been fortunate and eaten gelato in Italy or Sicily this will not disappoint you.
You pay first and then you will choose your flavors. They have a very good variety. Order the 6 pack so you can share and try 6 varieties.
Prices are on par for real gelato. We paid $18 for the 6 varieties. I believe a cup is $9.
*3 stars for the cramped and sterile atmosphere. The room is too small. It is always busy and it is so tight that the chair backs touch each other. Also the plastic chairs don't glide on the floor. If you are sitting, you are in the way of those ordering and leaving.
Bring your patience in the evening, the wait can be long, but worth it. Savor the flavors of each bite and for a moment you too can be transported.“

“As soon as my husband and I walked in the door we were instantly greeted and welcomed in. Everyone there was very friendly and very helpful. They were out of one of the cookies that we had wanted to try but we were there later in the day so it makes sense. We always frequent this store because it is always a great experience.“

“Been going here since I was a kid 💖“

“First, amazing service and very positive vibes. The Ice cream was amazing. The creation of your choice makes it even a better experience than just ordering from a talking billboard. Will definitely be returning.“

“The two ladies that worked there were very nice. I had a very bad experience at crumbl a few months ago at a different location and vowed to never go to one again. But when I walked into this one, I felt immediately welcomed! I had an issue with my order and the ladies resolved it immediately. Thank you for restoring my faith in crumbl“

“5/5 Melt N Dip is an outstanding dessert destination with an awesome vibe and impeccable quality. The Dubai chocolate crepe was exceptional with amazing taste, and I was particularly impressed that the knafe stays crispy, adding a perfect crunch to the rich pistachio chocolate filling. The triple chocolate crepe was decadently smooth and satisfying, and the lava cake was flawless with a warm, molten center that melted in your mouth. Every detail is done right — highly recommend!“

“fast, friendly service. they keep it clean.“

“I want to give a huge shout out to Here's the Scoop Ice Cream for showing up at a moments notice to Edison Elementary in Westland today for their field day when the Kona Ice truck we booked and paid for did not arrive. Here’s the Scoop came within 2 hours of my inital panicked phone call with enough ice cream for all 450+ kids. If you are in need of an ice cream truck in the future, please consider them. They really pulled through today for all our kids and we couldn’t be more grateful. 💙🍦“

“Dairy Queen

We have been coming here for years. Almost on an annual schedule.

Great service. Happy workers. Great food. They make all their food great. The cones are made perfectly. Really. Such dedication to making the cone perfect. Everyone is always happy coming here.

How can anyone not like ice cream.

Highly recommended“

“Love 44 scoops! Cute vibes with the insta wall covered in pink and sprinkles. Friendly staff, generous scoops, large variety. Vegan and nut free options too.“

“I can’t recommend this Menchie’s enough! The staff here are truly the best, they are always so kind, welcoming, and genuinely make every visit a great experience. From the moment I walk in, they greet me with a smile and treat me like family. Their customer service is exceptional, and it’s clear they care about every person who comes through the door.
The frozen yogurt always tastes incredibly fresh, and the toppings are well-stocked and delicious. The store is also spotless every time I visit, which says a lot about how much pride they take in their business.
There are other Menchie’s locations much closer to my home, but I choose to drive to this one every time because I know I can trust them. I know I’ll receive amazing service, a clean environment, and great-quality frozen yogurt with every visit.
Thank you to the entire team for consistently going above and beyond. You make your customers feel valued and appreciated, and that’s why I’ll keep coming back. I highly recommend this Menchie’s to anyone looking for delicious frozen yogurt and outstanding customer service!“

“My granddaughter and I went to DQ yesterday for my birthday. We like this particular DQ. Workers are friendly. She got a triple chocolate brownie and I got my usual Peanut Buster Parfait. We sat outside at a picnic table and enjoyed the weather and our ice-cream. Fun times.“

The manager there is the absolute best person ever!
All the employees are such lovely people!
They always treat me very well, like a star costumer!
I highly recommend going there for a treat! I live 25 mins from this place but it’s still my absolute favorite! It’s definitely worth the drive there anyways! They have the best ice cream ever!
Dulce de Leche is my absolute favorite flavor!“

“Great ice cream and great service!!!“

“Best stop for ice cream lovers!
💕🍨

Everything tastes fresh and smooth, the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting 🌈, and the staff is kind and professional 👍

Carvel Express never disappoints!“

“My half caf almond milk cruise latte was delicious! Place has good vibes too. And if you have an account @MichiganGrowler next door you can earn points at both!“

“Our local Baskin Robbins in downtown Lake Orion did a spectacular job on my son's birthday cake this month! Their edible paper printer was broken so they gave me options of how to print myself, and also offered to decorate by hand as best as they could. They knew my son wanted a Harry Potter cake so they made the Gyfindor crest in chocolate and it was such a hit! The cake was ready for my dad to pick up 10 minutes late which wasn't a big deal because it was a lot more work to decorate by hand than they had planned. The decorative cookie sandwiches did melt by the time the cake got to my freezer so I will not order that design again but that's my own fault, not theirs! 9/10 would recommend and will be ordering my daughter's cake for next monthf rom them as well!“

“Smells awesome when you walk in. It’s super clean and the staff is fantastic—Every time I’m there! The owner has obviously taken the time to hire good kids from the area and they’re very respectful and kind! Always smiling and gracious! Thank you for being awesome & delicious Menchies!“

“One of the best latte. , I have had in a long time. The coffee shop is spotless. Very friendly staff.“

“Stopped in to grab a blizzard because it was finally warm and had the most wonderful experience. Even though the store was busy the staff was so kind. Everyone was super helpful and efficient. Special shout out to Anya at the register who was so patient with me as I ordered for a group.“

“Stopped by Cold Stone for a sweet treat, and overall it was a good experience. The ice cream was fresh, creamy, and the mix-ins were blended really well. The staff was friendly, and my order was made exactly how I wanted it.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the prices are a little on the high side, and the wait was a bit longer than expected. Still, the quality and taste made it worth the visit. I’d definitely come back when I’m craving premium ice cream.“

“Unbelievable 70th Birthday Cake, thank you it was delicious!!“
