“My wife’s and I experience here was a good one. We stopped here late at night after a concert in Sterling Heights. The sole employee working was friendly and patient with our ordering. One of our donuts tasted stale but everything else including the ice cream was great.“
“Reeeeally good food. I really needed a pick-me-up and I found what I was looking for. A lot of menu options to choose from. Highly recommend the mixed fruit drink! 1000% will be returning. Also a cute park is out in front if you just want to enjoy the day with some ice cream.Parking: There's a good section of parking behind the building if the street parking is full“
“After indulging in a delightful Mexican feast, our cravings for something sweet led us to Momento, a charming spot that exceeded our dessert expectations. Nestled snugly amidst the vibrant streets, this cozy establishment proved to be a haven for those with a sweet tooth.Opting for a chocolate muffin paired with a steaming cup of hot chocolate, I found myself in dessert heaven, while my companion savored the creamy delight of gelato. The interior boasted comfortable seating, with an added touch of elegance in the glass-enclosed area overlooking the alley, complete with inviting lounge chairs. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their attentiveness and warmth made our visit all the more memorable. While parking presented a slight challenge, the convenience of a new parking deck within walking distance alleviated any concerns. Moreover, the surrounding area, located in the burgeoning Corktown neighborhood, exuded a sense of safety and promise, further enhancing our enjoyment. In conclusion, whether you're in the mood for a leisurely coffee, a comforting hot chocolate, or a refreshing gelato, Momento offers an array of delectable treats to satisfy every palate. Whether enjoyed in the cozy confines of the café or taken on the go, a visit to Momento is an experience not to be missed. Highly recommended for those seeking a sweet escape in Corktown's burgeoning culinary scene!“
“Support Detroit madeThe ice cream was amazing, so creamy and flavorful. They do offer samples but there are a limit selection. I would typically like to see more variety of flavors, there was nothing with chocolate, but I'll still give a five star because my salted Carmel was that great. The guy at the counter was attentive, as soon as I walked in, he jumped up to assist.Dietary restrictions: Non dairy options“
“Occasionally, when a craving for chocolate strikes, I make my way to this hidden gem. Nestled in charming Berkley, Clark’s Ice Cream is a delightful sanctuary for ice cream aficionados. With its diverse selection of flavors and affordable prices, it easily rises to the top of the list. Now, let's dive into the highlight: the ice cream.? Indulge in the peanut butter cup flavor without hesitation—it's absolutely divine! Your taste buds and soul will thank you indefinitely. ?“
“Cane across Gilly's from Hour Detroit's nomination of best ice cream places of 2024. This doesn't disappoint! I recommend the Yellow Snow. They have a huge variety of options, and the lady is just beaming with a smile. I came in on one of the warmer days in February, and I will definitely return for the spring!“
“Nice place for video games and delicious ice cream. Wish it was a little bigger for a bit more games. But what they have is good and I like that I can get root beer cooler there. I only ever see coolers or freezers at A&W. I don't see them at Culver's, Sonic, or Dairy Queen so it's nice that they have them here.“
“Grew up on burk's..my fav.Still just as good. I go whenever I'm visiting my mom..ITS A MUST..n of course love the staff.all very nice..and leave a tip...even if it's small...it's not easy..especially in the summer heat..Also..n this is everywhere you go..BE PATIENT..RELAX AND SMILE.U ARE ABOUT TO HAVE ICE CREAM“
“Found this place on a random walk across the city. Their ice creams taste amazing!! Tried their nutella with chocolate crisps and Tiramisu with brownie-Loved them!!! The quality is rich and the ice cream is super creamy. The guy at the cash counter was very friendly and gave us an overview of the flavours before the order. They made the ice cream right in front of our eyes from scratch with some smoke effects ..haha its from the nitrogen I believe. Overall- great outlet for good quality ice creams! Will definitely visit again.“
“Was in the area yesterday with a coworker and stopped in for my fruit salad and apples with tamarind (both spicy and sweet). Also order a small elote and a mango/pineapple Fresca. My cravings were satisfied!Line got busy after we arrived there and customer service was overall good.“
“I absolutely adore Ray’s. The old fashioned parlor looks just like it would have looked in the eighties! And the ice cream is absolutely amazing, I have never had a problem with Ray’s staff either!! They are all very kind to me and my kids!Parking: The parking is right outside the outdoor dining area behind the shrubs it always has room for other cars!Kid-friendliness: I bring my kids here all the time and the staff have never been rude to them once over all the years we’ve been coming!“

“The food here is so good!!! I can't express in words how delicious the food here is. Personally, I love spicy food and there are a lot of options of spicy dishes. The prices are quite reasonable and the customer service here is also the best. The staff is very friendly, understanding, and cooperative. On top of all this, the food is completely fresh. I've actually seen them making my food and I could taste the freshness from it. This is a very underated fast food place and deserves the fame and reputation. This is my go-to burger place and I would eat here any time. Well done, To Bros!!!Edit: I am quite disappointed now. I have been eating from here for a while and recently the food just hasn't been up there like before. I feel like the quality has decreased significantly. The wings aren't the same, neither are the burgers. The only thing that still seems to be the same are the Mexican fries. But overall, unfortunately, I don't think I'll be visiting this place as often anymore if at all.“
“I am a custard lover, and this place is one of my favorite.I love the mild sweet taste, and the rich buttery milk. They have a nice menu, I tried many different choices but my favorite is the waffle cone dipped in chocolate and salty caramelized pecan drizzle. It's a happy treat.Cannot cross Woodward without making a stop there!“
“I’m visiting in from Chicago for the weekend. I discovered this place on Friday night and absolutely fell in love. Returned on Saturday night and am seriously thinking about coming again Sunday afternoon before I leave. Erma’s is that AMAZING!! The Peanut butter parfait is heaven. The custard puff with hot fudge is just as delicious.“
“I love a good elephant ear! This place hands down met my expectations! The server was friendly, dining area was clean… and most importantly the elephant ear was amazing… crispy, chewy, and rich in flavor. I drove from Canton to Dearborn to check this place out… they did not disappoint! Highly recommend giving this place a try… I will be back! Go see for yourself!“
“A beautiful concept nestled into the heart of downtown. Yesterday was cold and rainy, shopped around all the department stores and stumbles onto this gem. A small shop with small batch broth to help soothe the brutal cold. What an idea to serve soup in the winter and ice cream in the summer. The server was friendly and helpful too. Guided and recommended a nice local pizza joint nearby. Hope they plan to build on this and add more soups outside of broths like chowders and bisques. Thank you very much!“
“Awesome little spot! Had never been and didn’t know they closed at 8, just decided to pull in as I drove past. Owner was shutting the open sign off but noticed me in the turn lane and waved me in. Excellent service, it will definitely be my families go-to spot this summer!“
“Good but expensive cookies! That chocolate chocolate and that chocolate chip cookie one is life! Sad part is they don't sell what you like all the time because they menu changes weekly. But that's not enough to get four stars. On the most part you're a five-star business“
“**Ordered onlineFood/drink*Cap’n Berry-O (Cap’n Crunch Berries, Rainbow Sprinkles & Oreos) - Good*XL Brownie Cheesecake Stuffed (Cheesecake and brownie chunks rolled into cookie dough with sprinkles & graham cracker crumbs) - really good*8 Mile Mix (pretzels, Reese’s cups & M&Ms) - good*The B-Special (Cinnamon-bun flavored with Oreos) - good*Chocolate Chunk (Semi sweet & dark chocolate) - good*Raspberry Oreo Cheesecake - very good [favorite]*Circus Snack (animal cookies & rainbow sprinkles) - Good*Double Chocolate Coffee Toffee (chocolate cookie with chocolate chips & Dave’s Sweet Tooth Coffee Toffee) - really good [2nd favorite]“
“I went twice in 1 day, since the pretzels were not ready. So the service was ok during that visit. He couldn't tell me how long it would take for the pretzels would be ready, so it felt a bit dismissive. Other places give me an estimate, even before I ask. I was craving a pretzel, so I went back hours later. The pretzels were ready and the person was a lot friendlier. The pretzels were not as good as a NYC vendor's pretzel, yet still good. I will return for their water ice during my next visit.“
“Service is quick, despite there being queues - this usually happens on hotter days. Go prepared with some cash, as they don't accept cards.Parking: It is possible to park in front or on the side streetKid-friendliness: Place frequented by families with children“
“I can't say enough how this place warms yet chills me down. The ice cream is amazingly awesome and tastes so good and creamy. I had a Cookie Monster waffle sandwich which I forgot to take a pic of and my partner had a Oreo chocolate and strawberry shake. Amazing 10/10 and will be going back. Thanks so much for the great service clean establishment and the warm welcome. 5stars is much deserved“
“Don't get to come here often but it's always good when I do. Only ever come for the cookies really, but last time the red velvet ones weren't ready yet (heartbroken) so I opted for the red velvet donut and a couple other baked goods. So delicious!“
“If you like trying different flavors of bubble tea and donuts that'd make it your taste buds go crazy make sure you stop here I grabbed donuts today when I say the banana pudding donuts are so good words can't describe they have a wide variety of creative sweets it's a must tryKid-friendliness: Kids would love this place“
“I was there on 12-22-23 around 8:00pm the lady that works there has great customer service and good attitude she's the only reason I go there.... all the dairy queens have the same ice cream customer service is what makes big difference.“
“My go-to ice cream spot, even though I live 20 minutes away now. Love the long hours and the lotus biscoff sundaeupdate: love the new expansion and decor. I visited today (Feb 18, 2024) and want to shout-out the two employees there, who were patient, friendly, and made great ice cream for us. La Gelati has the best service and best ice cream“
“The food is amazing….nice sized portions, healthy, prepared with care. The eating area is small - so be prepared to share a table at lunch or perhaps take out - but this also adds to the ambience of it all. The selection of things to drink with your meal/salad/soup is nice - and the owner is super easy going. When you go there - think of a small New York style deli- grab and go…..small business like this rock!“
“went on to pick up some carnitas this morning, and they were good. The only thing I didn't like was that I was charged for the 1/2 pound when I ordered, and I couldn't add more carnitas. they were good, falling off the bone as I asked for ribs. usually we go for the pupusas or the ice cream treats, also the corn with doritos are awesome.“
“This place is 5 stars because no matter how long the line. Those workers will get it down in minutes. Cash is king there! The quality of the product is always consistent. Absolutely loved dairy o! I even got a pop socket to remember them by.“
“I love the rolled ice cream at this place, it's very delicious and is made super quickly. The prices are also super fair. My only complaint is that the chairs at the tables are way too small and uncomfortable unless you're really quite skinny.“
“I know this is a chain, but here in the greater DET area, we don't get many of the typical Asian amenities (it's changing for sure!). Tried the matcha float and the matcha latte, and they were both delicious fares. With its claw machines and chalk wall, it's a nicely interactive space. Service was good and it didn't take too long to get our orders. Solid establishment!“
“We were downtown for an event, and decided to grab dinner at Mister Dips. The decor is cool, and the service is quick and friendly. The menu is brief, but has some good burger and other options, and obviously ice cream and shakes, although we had an event and couldn't get any. We got a "normal" burger and a spicy one, and both were very good. The patties could use a little seasoning, but they were nice and juicy. The buns and toppings are also very good. We got the dirty fries, they were delicious and have a kick!Next time we are down this way, I'll definitely try some of the sweets, they look epic!“
“It's now called Matt & Mo's Italian Beef but the sign still says Doug's. OMG! Just like my favorite Chicago Italian beef place!!!! I ordered 2 combo's dipped. It was a sloppy heavenly sandwich that tasted like authentic Italian beef and sausage (combo) I grew up with. Was about $15 per sandwich and worth every single penny. It's enough for two people, but why share? With flavors that good, you'll wish you ordered your own...or even another one to go! I did. I've been looking for an authentic Italian beef place since I loved to Detroit in 1980. I've finally found it. The shoestring fries are also worth the $5, so get some of those, too. I'll definitely be back! Try them, they are superb.“
“Very good icecream. I got 1 scoop espresso chip in a cup $5+ , now if this was a generous serving, fine, however this felt like a 3 bite gone scoop.Very small and not reflective of the portion size. Also, no cotton candy flavor, that would really give them an edge over other places.“
“After our visit, we definitely will have to come back because the food, service, and ambiance were on point. The staff was uber friendly and knowledgeable. They did not have creamer in the condiment station (red flag for me; I don't do mini moos). However, they offered to pour in real half and half for me, that they store behind the counter. The coffee was delicious, strong, and fresh. We had sugar cookies and baklava. Wonderful. The bakery cases were massive and large selection. The staff greeted us from the kitchen and walked towards the counter to help us.The seating is limited, but we were able to relax in the cozy sitting area with fireplace. Lots of light; bright, and vibrant colors. They offer ice cream too.Overall, excellent.“
“I just went inside the business for coffee. The service was great. The employee was engaging and the decor is niceWheelchair accessibility: Door entrance and common areas are spacious enough for mobility devices and have accessible bathrooms“
“This is a small drive up soft serve Custard stand located on the Southside of 12 Mile Rd, just east of John R. Rd. It’s very small and has two windows, one for ordering and paying and one for pick ups. It’s the type of place you grew up with, because their used to be one in every neighborhood. The most important thing here is a Custard, if you come here. It’s really as good as it gets for a soft serve custard! If you’re in the neighborhood and wanna treat this place, can’t be beat! ?“
“Pretty decent location. It's a walk up window. The Ice cream reminds me of Dairy Queen. I had the chocolate chip cookie dough tornado. Soft serve ice cream with chocolate chip cookie dough and hot fudge. Reminds me of the Dairy Queen blizzard. I went on a Sunday in the late afternoon. The line was not very long. There is outdoor seating. Quite a few people we're sitting outside, which was a good sign to me.“
“GREAT FROYO! But the lobby is stuck in 2020 and it gives me the heebie-jeebies. Social distancing signs are still up, & chairs are put up, & chalk boards still have writing on them regarding lockdown. Someone needs to straighten the atmosphere up.“
“These are the best cookies ever and should you decide to get a scoop of ice cream on top, you'll be floating on air when you finish it. Sure these are like a million calories, but, treat yourself! They have an app with rewards, too! This is an in and out type of place so be prepared to grab your treats and go. The service is pretty fast also, so they won't take up all of your day.“
“I ordered off door dash. I ordered fried Oreos, and the Carmel apple egg rolls, they also gave me an order of the peach egg rolls as a thank you for ordering. Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! DELICIOUS!!!! I will definitely be ordering more... And thank y'all very much for the gift ? I thought that was really sweet ? I am now a lifetime customer“
“Golden cone is the cutest mom and pop ice cream shop downtown royal oak. They are only open in the summer though. They use guernsey farms dairy so I feel good about shopping local, plus it's really high quality. I have been bummed because they used to carry my favorite flavor- peanut butter cookie dough and I haven't seen it in a while. I have been getting lavender honey in the meantime, which is good but miss my pb cookie dough!“
“I've driven past this place so many times before finally trying it. Now my family and I are hooked! It's ten times better than Dairy Queen and most other ice cream shops with great service! They're like the Chick-fil-A of ice cream shops! Friendly greetings are consistent no matter what time you go! I have zero complaints!“
“This place is just too busy. No negativity on the service it's easy to see they are overwhelmed. I believe it will be best to order ahead of time avoid the crowd. However their menu is great it's unique in styles of deserts and ice cream I have ever seen. That being said you need to come here for yourself because this is an experience. You will love also the diversity here it's a perfect example of America. The vibes here and ambiance are positive with a lot of happiness. That is all. Chief Live easy be humble and always pray to God.“
“Today I was introduced to a lavender coffee drink by a lovely barista, Susie. What a surprisingly delightful flavor! I would not have been tempted to try this, however, the conversation with Susie changed my mind. Her kindness brought a sparkle to my day --- thank you!! I look forward to returning and telling others about this new coffee spot discovery!“
“What a great local spot! It’s open quite late, and there is always a line, wait was about 7 minutes. Parking lot is quite busy too. But it was totally worth it! The Twix ice cream so as the vanilla custard with sprinkles was delicious ? Service was nice and friendly, we also asked for some water and they were happy to help. And the atmosphere is great, ambience is nice with all the neon lights, and there is a lot of seating spots around!“
“OMG. Best pizza we have had in a very long time. I've stalked them on Facebook for awhile. We were in Detroit for training and we grabbed 2 pies on the way to our hotel. Holy crap. As close to pizza perfection as you can get. Whenever we go to another city or state, I always look up best rated pizza places so we have had a lot of good pizza. Pie-Sci is in the top 2 of all the pizza places we've had. it makes me sad that they are 3 hours away but it will become a must stop when we are near.“
