“I was blessed by Karen, the owner. I didn't look at the hours. I was just told that I could get superman ice cream there on a cone. When I arrived they were closed. I tapped on the window and explained that I was on my way back to NC and would pay double for my ice cream. Even though they hadn't opened yet, she serviced me and wouldn't allow me to pay her. I tried showing my ID she still would not take my payment. I say God bless you, Karen for making this big kid happy! 🥰🥰“

“Took my daughter and her friends for a sweet treat here on her birthday and we LOVED everything about it. The dipped ice cream bars were ahhhmazing. We tried 3 different flavors and all were a hit. I personally had the sweet and salty and I still can’t stop thinking about it a day later. Staff were so kind, patient, and friendly. And the place is picture perfect to document your experience. Can’t wait to visit again with my husband and sons who didn’t join us.“

“Highly recommend this place! We frequently cross the border from Canada and usually stop nearby for tacos. We decided to try this spot after finding it on Google, and I’m so glad we did!
I called shortly before closing to make sure they were still serving, and they said they serve right up until their posted closing time. We quickly drove over, and the girls were so friendly and helpful, even though it was close to closing. We got the corn in a cup, and it was delicious!
This will definitely be our new go-to spot. Great food and even better customer service! Unfortunately, no pictures because we devoured the corn 😂“

Went yesterday for their first wingding Wednesday and had some delicious wings and banana pudding ice cream. We’ll be making this a regular summer spot. “La Gelati is one of the best ice cream places around! The ice cream is always delicious, the shop is clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming. What really made my visit stand out was the amazing customer service from Norah Salah. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, and her positive attitude made the whole experience even better. It’s clear she genuinely cares about customers and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. “If you have been fortunate and eaten gelato in Italy or Sicily this will not disappoint you.
You pay first and then you will choose your flavors. They have a very good variety. Order the 6 pack so you can share and try 6 varieties.
Prices are on par for real gelato. We paid $18 for the 6 varieties. I believe a cup is $9.
*3 stars for the cramped and sterile atmosphere. The room is too small. It is always busy and it is so tight that the chair backs touch each other. Also the plastic chairs don't glide on the floor. If you are sitting, you are in the way of those ordering and leaving.
Bring your patience in the evening, the wait can be long, but worth it. Savor the flavors of each bite and for a moment you too can be transported.“

“Tried Huddle for the first time last night after walking by it so many times and was not disappointed! The machine was acting funky but the man working was trying his hardest to make sure everyone got served, it was delicious and I will definitely becoming here again next time I’m in Detroit!“

“The doughnuts are stellar and so is the customer service! I was greeted and served by the owner; he was patient and kind as I asked flavors and such (because they weren’t labeled). The strawberry glazed and strawberry doughnut holes were my favorite. The ice cream was a bit soft, like the freezer had been left open of wasn’t working properly.
Aside from the soft ice cream, I have no complaints. The owner appeared to be working alone, but still delivered top tier customer service.

“A DoorDash driver stole $136 worth of cookies intended for the night shift nurses at a local hospital and JAMIE was amazing and delivered the cookies herself!!! “I ate the barbecue burger and It was halal and delicious, the size was perfect, and it was filing. I had the Cajun fries they were seasoned very well and crispy. “I want to give a huge shout out to Here's the Scoop Ice Cream for showing up at a moments notice to Edison Elementary in Westland today for their field day when the Kona Ice truck we booked and paid for did not arrive. Here’s the Scoop came within 2 hours of my inital panicked phone call with enough ice cream for all 450+ kids. If you are in need of an ice cream truck in the future, please consider them. They really pulled through today for all our kids and we couldn’t be more grateful. 💙🍦“
