I was diagnosed with celiac disease at the end of July 2023, so it’s been three years. Because of cross contamination, I really don’t get takeout or go out to eat. I’ve been glutened so many times that it’s just not worth the pain. And the pain is severe when gluten’d which lasts for days and knocks you off your feet.

I follow an influencer who also has celiac disease, and every now and then she’ll go to a fast food restaurant. Last week she went to a Culver’s. I haven’t had Culver’s in over three years, but tonight I decided to give it a try.

I had memorized all of her questions, and I kid you not, I went to Culver’s and they went the distance. They took everything serious. They even wrote down “severe gluten allergy.” They have a dedicated fryer for their fries, which was so exciting. Then I ordered a burger that was cooked on a clean grill with no bread or anything else that had been on it, and they served it on a gluten free bun.

Here we are an hour later, knock on wood, and everything is great. I literally could cry happy tears.“

“Took my daughter and her friends for a sweet treat here on her birthday and we LOVED everything about it. The dipped ice cream bars were ahhhmazing. We tried 3 different flavors and all were a hit. I personally had the sweet and salty and I still can’t stop thinking about it a day later. Staff were so kind, patient, and friendly. And the place is picture perfect to document your experience. “I was blessed by Karen, the owner. I didn't look at the hours. I was just told that I could get superman ice cream there on a cone. When I arrived they were closed. I tapped on the window and explained that I was on my way back to NC and would pay double for my ice cream. Even though they hadn't opened yet, she serviced me and wouldn't allow me to pay her. “This is a terrific little ice cream stand on the fringe of downtown Auburn Hills. They have a vast array of flavors, more so than most IC spots that are primarily soft serve places. We tried the Banana and we added chocolate chips for good measure. It was great. Of course, their classic varieties are also good. Our grandsons tried the chocolate and vanilla (with sprinkles, naturally), respectively, and were quite happy with their choices.

The service was friendly and efficient and their prices were very fair. They have some picnic tables on the grounds where you can sit and enjoy your treats. It was an enjoyable experience and we'll look forward to our next chance to pay a visit.“

“I have to say the ice cream was extremely good. I had the chocolate but it was really chocolate. The staff was helpful and friendly. Crowds changed depending upon the time of day, so leave plenty of time for your favorite snack in the summer.“

“We ate a late lunch today and weren’t wanting dinner really. So we decided to go out for dessert instead. We tried Shock Gelato for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was very nice. I held the door for a group of lady customers as I was entering and they were exiting. I heard them say, “I love this place.” A group of young people that came in behind me shortly after were speaking amongst themselves while we were waiting to be served. They were also taking about how much they love this place and how they were here at the Grand Opening or first day open. I knew I had made a good choice.

Kenny and Olivia were the servers and they did an excellent job taking care of the guests. The place was busier than I imagined a frozen dessert style restaurant would be on a late Sunday evening. Regardless everyone was served swiftly but with attention to detail. We had a group of seven and at least three groups of 5 or more came in behind us. I didn’t see one customer that was dissatisfied whatsoever.

There are so many flavors in the showcase. I wanted to try them all!!! I understand that they rotate the flavors too so perhaps next time will be a totally different experience. I can’t wait to come back and try some more. They do allow you to sample multiple flavors. I tried 3-4 before just placing my order. I don’t think that it’s possible to pick a bad flavor. I ordered the largest size so that I could get three flavors. All three were splendid. I’m already excited for my next visit.“

My Only issue is I made a order and instead of giving me a option too choose something different, they automatically email me they did'nt have it and automatically refunded my money back on my card which caused me too have too make a whole extra order which meant I had too pay a additional delivery and tax fee around $11 dollars, aside from the order that was already paid for. So I end up paying a extra $11 dollars for my two orders that were delvered together.“

“Welcoming and friendly staff! It’s a cute little spot for frozen yogurt. They’ve got the classic flavors like cookies & cream, chocolate, vanilla, cake batter, and strawberry, plus a few fun extras. There’s a good variety of toppings, and they all tasted fresh.

You don’t get to add your own toppings, which is a bit of a bummer since that’s part of the fun of self-serve froyo—but the girl who helped us was super nice.

It came out to $17 for two cups, which is about what I’d expect. Just a heads up: there’s a $5 minimum if you’re using a card.

“The doughnuts are stellar and so is the customer service! I was greeted and served by the owner; he was patient and kind as I asked flavors and such (because they weren’t labeled). The strawberry glazed and strawberry doughnut holes were my favorite. The ice cream was a bit soft, like the freezer had been left open of wasn’t working properly.

Aside from the soft ice cream, I have no complaints. The owner appeared to be working alone, but still delivered top tier customer service.
