“Delicious food, generous portions, reasonably priced. They recently remodeled the store, the flow works much better now. They have a walk-in beer cooler, as well as liquor behind the counter. It offers everything a corner gas station/convenience store can offer, with some of the most delicious Mediterranean I have had. We have enjoyed Mr. Kabob's for many, many years, has always been 5 stars! My go to is the deboned chicken breast and rice. The chicken is so well seasoned and tender, it melts in your mouth! My husband's favorite is the lamb gyro (not sure if Berkley location carries lamb though?). All the salads are fresh, the hummus divine, and falafels are so yummy! I'll try to update with pics, but it's hard not to dig right in!“

“If you’re looking for a good Indian restaurant or to try good Indian food for the first time, look no further. We’ve had their takeout a ton & it’s always top notch but last night we dined in & had the most incredible & delicious experience. “The portion of the main meal was very large. The two of us ordered a lb with rice to share and were very satisfied. There are three large pieces of bone-in mutton. The meat is very tender and has been roasted until the bones and meat separate. The fat part melts in your mouth and is very delicious. The spice rice at the bottom is also a masterpiece. Part of it is dipped in the mutton sauce, and the untouched part also has a strong aroma. I can't help but take one bite after another. It was served with some sweet potato on the side. It was not very sweet but the seasoning was good. In addition, it also comes with minced garlic and tomato hot sauce that is a bit like salsa to match, so that the overall taste is not monotonous at all. There is also hot tea in the store that you can take for yourself. It tastes sweet and has a bit of Chinese medicine, a bit like herbal tea with a strong medicinal taste. You can give it a try.“

“Just tried your new Ft Wayne location yesterday. Having lived in Saudi Arabia for years, your food is as close to legit as I have found since moving back to the USA!! “we decided to try Shiva Mandi special combos turn out to be a real gem despite the restaurant not being fancy, but it made us feel at home. The food was excellent flavorful and delicious but what really is stole our hearts was people at Sheba they were very respectful. and on top they didn’t even charge for Tea.“

“The main and most important point is that that food was excellent. The restaurant had a great turnover with lots of customers coming in and out. My wife and I ate onsite. There were enough chairs inside by the window to eat at the counter on a cold snow day. The service was very friendly. We were brought a spicy sauce extra that we had not asked for out of a genuine act of hospitality which was much appreciated, very delicious and added to our experience. The grape leaves came warm, served with house pickles on lettuce. The restaurant felt authentic, like a family run joint. The food was definitely homemade and fresh, in all the best ways. The falafel sandwiches were perfect, the hummus was super delicious and ideal consistency and temperature, and having fresh made to order juices on the menu was a big plus too. “A hidden gem. I found this store awhile ago when I was looking for spices. They had all of the spices that I needed to make my chili. It would have been much more expensive and a bigger hassle to get everything at a regular grocery store. I have turned many people on to it who live in the neighborhood. “Ordered takeout for the first time here at around 10:30am and it was relatively busy with take out orders. They have a lunch special around that time which is a good deal. Comes with the main and rice/fries and soup/salad. Service was very good, the cashier was very nice and friendly although she was very busy packing orders and taking calls.“

“Decided to try out Zara, have been wanting to for awhile. My wife, son, & I decided to try the Chicken Shawarma Bowl combo. Chicken, yellow rice (they don't have white rice), & multiple toppings & sauces to choose from, with different sides & drinks (with combo). The chicken & rice were a tad dry, & the garlic sauce was a little tangy for my taste. Otherwise, the taste was fine, & it was a decent size portion for price. The staff was really nice & friendly. We will probably try them again in the future.“

“I would say that the positive reviews are justified at Remas. I had the Seltah w/Vegetables with the Yemeni bread and the sauces. While the sauces were not much to write home about, I will have to say that the Seltah had a lot of really good flavor, was healthy, and delicious. The Yemeni bread was an excellent sidekick. The checkout was a bit confusing at first, but I now remember to go up to the desk and eventually checkout there.“

“This is similar to a chipotle concept of ordering a pre-determined bowl or creating your own bowl. I really appreciated that when you first come in, there is a wall with the pictures of the different items you can pick for your bowl because I wasn't familiar with some of the items. I did a custom bowl half/half with the zartar steak and lamb. I asked for the kale salad and the blaze hummus. This bowl was magnificent. The flavors were great and it was good quantity of food. Everything tasted fresh and light. The hummus was perfect and the blaze sauce gave it the spice I needed. If I knew the blaze sauce would be that delicious, I'd of asked for more of it in my food. The bowls came with fresh warm bread (I saw them make it while I was waiting). I was obsessed with this bread. It was fluffy and warm and fantastic. It was a really nice size to come with the bowl. There were tables to sot down at if you wanted to dine in. I would 10/10 recommend this place.“

I was struggling to select 5 appetizers that had no onions when Savio the server suggested taboule, and that they make it fresh and can easily leave out the onions. It was wonderful! The shawarma was flavorful with subtle spices - super tasty. I ate half and had a great lunch for the next day. Savio, the young server was well informed on the menu and friendly.
