“B. Nektar is an absolute gem! I first tried Zombie Killer years ago at a random bar in Cleveland, then hunted it down at a liquor store near home in the Chicago/NW Indiana area. When it disappeared from shelves, I missed it every single day for about 3 years.

Now that we’ve moved to Toledo, we realized we’re just over an hour away from the taproom and I’m so glad we finally visited. The selection of beers, ciders, and meads is incredible. The vibes are super chill and fun, and the staff was so friendly and attentive. They really made the experience even better. On top of that, the taproom has a great selection of games, which made the hours fly by with friends; we didn’t even notice it was well past dinner time!

We stocked up to take home (can’t wait to share the durian one with family in Chicago), and honestly, this is the best brewery we’ve found since Phase Three back in Chicago. Nothing else has compared until B. Nektar. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Very popular restaurant and bar. We came on the weekend this time for brunch. Large menu with omelets, benedicts, french toasts. Regular menu has wings,sandwiches and ? .We got the wings and they(3)were large full and sticky. Our omelettes were good with plenty inside. The French toast too. My friend thought their benedict not their best and probably wouldn't get it again. Ask about gluten free or vegan. Betty get GF bread or bun please.

“It was a very enjoyable dining experience as always at this raw bar. Great selection of fresh oysters. Oysters Rockefeller were delicious. Oyster stew was good to the last swab of my bowl with Muirs’ homemade bread. Never made it to an entree. Service was above and beyond as always. Last night restored our faith in dining out. Danny, our server, was newly back to work at Pronto and I've never seen a server work so hard to accommodate people and ensure we were well cared for. the entire staff and clientele were so kind and encouraging. I spent most of the meal examining the lighting fixtures (there are so many!!!), and our family searched for disco balls (also SO MANY!). The food was amazing and the service was fast. we took our 14 year old there for dinner because they needed to see that there are safe, public spaces for them - and the awe and amazement in their eyes the whole time told me that we found our new "regular" spot. the music was fun, the service was spectacular, and the entire vibe was just lovely. and as a lighting nerd, they play with light beautifully, even during a routine dinner service. to the staff at Pronto - particularly Danny - thank you. as a mom trying to figure out how to best parent a child who isn't like me, you gave me immeasurable gifts last night. you gave my child hope for a future as an adult. we love the local youth programming available but it lacks a connection to adults who are thriving and living full, beautiful lives. seeing that in action was everything our kid needed and so much more. thank you.“

“Almost Cheers is a nice neighborhood bar. The bartenders are friendly and try to learn everyone's names. The crowd is friendly and willing to converse. They've just started offering food again, though it's all deep-fried, but it's good for what it is. The manager is trying to make everything serviceable and the atmosphere less drab than some may find it currently, so I have good hopes for them for the future.“

“We had dinner at Tribu last weekend with another couple and it was one of the best dining experiences. Everything from the ambience, staff, customer service and all of their FOOD were exceptional!! The menu was a soft launch menu as it was their grand opening, but there were so many options that we ended up ordering multiple appetizers, entrees and all of the desserts! Everything was absolutely delicious. The duck wings, tagliatelle, and filet were so flavorful. Great food, great company and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more!“

“I went to Time Out on a Friday night around midnight in search of some late night grub. It seemed as if this was the only place open in Waterford! I tried the chicken fingers and fries, and they were great! ?? You might say how hard can that be to cook? I've been to other places that it seemed like I told them to cook a dinner impossible. Anyway, the waitstaff was awesome and attentive, plenty of TV screens, there was a great dj spinning that night as well. About 30 people came in not too long after me and atmosphere livened up considerably. The Time Out is definitely a vibe! Sarah was our waitress, who is also a 15 year experienced bartender on the side, was AMAZING to say the least! She was so friendly, helped make us crazy custom shots and was happy to do it!!

“The Hideout shocked me, i drove by for many years and figured it was a hole/little bar. When I walked in the interior was very nice. So the business end of the review, i had a cheeseburger with grilled onions and it was so darn good I was shocked. I came back the following night it was so good hoping they could replicate it, im not here for the drinks but the cheeseburger! Once again the chef comes through with a home run. Ill be back tomorrow or the next day, its that good and its of tremendous value, im not sure how they do it. The place is a gem!“

“Stopped here while I was in Michigan visiting family. The staff was very nice. They had lots of vegan options and everything that was vegan was labeled. I decided to get an acai bowl. Both options had a rawnola topping and because the bowls were labeled raw and dairy free but not vegan, I asked if the rawnola had raw honey in it. They said they didn't know, so I added almond butter on top of the acai bowl instead of the rawnola. The acai bowl was pretty good, but a little small for the price. I also tried a raw apple fig ball which was yummy! Overall this was a cool place to go for lunch, but a little pricey. They had lots of options (including several raw vegan options) to choose from and pretty much all ingredients were labeled. They had a few counter seats and one outside table for seating.“
