“It’s so nice to have a locally owned coffee shop that serves freshly made beverages and delicious pastries. The owner and staff are super friendly. The seating is comfortable with areas for work and family. Even today there is a sweet family of 5 sitting on couches playing a card game together. ❤️ This is a great place to meet for business or pleasure.“

“We love speciation!! So much so, that my now husband and I went on our first date there. So when it was time to find a wedding venue, we reached out to see if it was possible to host it at Speciation. Thankfully Mitch and the crew said yes, and we had literally the best party ever.

When I say working with the specation team for our wedding was a breeze, I mean it. Any questions I had was answered quickly and with detail. The day of the wedding Jane and Carly took such good care of us and all of our guests. They handled our crew with grace and everyone had a great time. We were able to get into the venue early to do all the set up so that we could have a few hours of peace before the big day started. It was a beautiful space to have our wedding and we are so thankful we did.

We also choose to have the team make us a wedding beer. We got to chat with Mitch for the ideas we had and he brought them to life. We went with a hot toddy inspired beer. They even let us submit our own label for the beer. It was a great gift for our guests, to have on tap during the wedding, and have some extras to drink in our first year married.

“Omg!!!!! I searched protein shakes near me, after a workout. My GPS bought me here, all the times I passed here, I didn't know this delicious place was here. “Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

Service: There were two people working. They were decently busy, and the two were hustling! But they were happy to take the time to give local recommendations. They were happy we were there.

Beer: Decent. It wasn’t our favorite in the area, but certainly enjoyable.

Atmosphere: Super relaxed and chill. It’s in a cool little space.

Cons
Seating: We sat at the bar and the seating was uncomfortable.

“I have been going to adobe in and out since I was a teenager, back in 1990. My favorite is the beef and bean wet tostada, I got a deluxe wet burrito today. Their are 3 choices of wet sauce. I got the meat. Great flavor, portion isn't excessively large. I found it very filling and delicious. I've never been disappointed. Love the fresh salsa.
I work 3rd shift and ended my night around 10:05am. I was hungry for dinner but knew only breakfast was being served beside at Denny's and IHOP. Oh how i was so pleased to see the open sign lit up at adobe on Chicago dr. But I wanted to make sure so I checked online and it said they open at 10:30 am. My joy slipped away for a moment until I saw a young lady outside with the familiar uniform that servers wear. I rolled down my window on this chilly morning and ask if they are open. "Always" was the answer. The workers get there early and start setting up for the lunch rush. You can order but it may take a little bit longer. Definitely. Worth the wait.
