“This is a 5 star restaurant serving 2 star martinis. The glasses are not chilled nor do they have a stem to keep your warm hand off the bowl of the drink. A better glass would enhance the experience for us martini lovers and complement the food!“

“Our waiter was absolutely amazing at the Chelsea location today! He was training a young lady and honestly I feel she is learning from the best! He did tell us his name a couple times and of course I can not remember... I am so happy we stopped in. we travel all over for work and we eat out a lot and I have never once felt the need to give props to anyone until now. We will definitely make a point to come back! “My go to breakfast spot closed (Angelo's in Ann Arbor) and I've been trying to find somewhere in dexter or pinkney and have been so disappointed. I've tried them ALL and this was my last place to try! I took my 92 year old grandpa in and we were both so impressed! The atmosphere was great, nostalgic for grandpa! The food was phenomenal. Prices were better than other local establishments for much better food. They were jam packed and we still got our food pretty quick. I can't wait to go back! Make sure you get the American fries for breakfast. Haven't had anything comparable to those anywhere.“

This year's Christmas show was very challenging for the actors requiring them to voice multiple characters often within the same conversation. The flawless delivery of the actors, along with clever use of minimal props reflect the brilliance and creativeness of the show's director. Well done all. A very enjoyable time!“

“Ordered a personal pizza. Was really good. Crunchy crust, not too thick. Sauce was the right amount and cheese was perfectly melted.

Interior of the building was very clean, and very spacious for customers to be separate from one another.

Parking: Free parking is behind the building off the main street. Can be hard to find if you dont know your way around.

Kid-friendliness: Brought my two little ones both under 3 with me and they had a great selection of kids meals and had booster seats and high chairs available.

Wheelchair accessibility: Its ground floor entrance. Very easily wheelchair accesible.“

“Great place to have dinner and an epic view of Portage Lake. One of my favorite new places to take guests and family. The chef is really good and there are some creative dishes as well as classic favorites.“

“Decided to check this place out after hearing they had great steaks. I got the ribeye and my boyfriend got the frog legs…both were really yummy. The frog legs were definitely a surprise delight because they were juicy but crispy…just really well cooked. My ribeye was also delicious but I wish I had gotten onions and mushrooms on top after seeing another steak go out with that topper. It’s a smaller pub so I would go before the dinner rush…we got there around 6pm which worked out perfectly. After we sat down at the bar the place started to fill up. Service was great and the bartender made sure our drinks were always filled. Would come back for steak and frog legs anytime!“

“Dexter Pub is the best. I’ve been going there since I was a kid, and I go there with my parents a lot. The food is amazing and Peter is just the nicest guy. It’s the best place in Dexter to get food.

Edit 11/2/24: my husband, son, and I went to the Pub after trick-or-treating on Halloween and the hostess was extremely rude. When she sat us to our seats, she slammed the menus on the table, gave me a dirty look, and said “here you go.” I won’t change my rating, only because we like Pete and we eat there all the time. But that hostess needs a serious attitude adjustment or I will have to say something next time she’s rude.“
