New American Restaurants near Clarkston, MI

“I was flying solo this weekend and wanted a nice dinner and experience! Kruse's Deer Lake Inn did not disappoint. I chose from the Flavors of Fall on the menu (pick two) 😋 The stuffed shrimp was prepared perfectly (tender), and the baked shrimp and scallops were delicious. The pilaf pleasantly surprised me and was very good (pilaf is something I would have never ordered but it was the side for the pick two). I also had a Martha's Vineyard salad add tomatoes (not pictured)! I look forward to stopping in again soon!“

“Great Place. My complaint. NO BLUE CHEESE DRESSING. I Had Chicken Strawberry Salad once a week. Every now and then since they quit serving Bleu cheese. Never after today when We asked the server who to address our concerns to, 2 servers pointed to the owner who picked up our plates and pretended he couldn't talk English. RUDE“

“I'm highly recommending this restaurant. The service is great, from hosts to wait staff. Great bartender that makes impeccable cocktails. Good is perfectly cooked. Indoor and outdoor seating. Large bar downstairs. All in cozy downtown Clarkston village. Ample parking 1/4 block away.“

“We came here for a rehearsal dinner and we were in a private room. I was surprised that everything was on point, even with the restaurant being so busy . The food was delicious. Myra and Ashley were our waitresses and they were on top of everything . They even helped set up . We definitely will be coming back 😀“

“We are regulars at Stuffed Bun and can’t imagine not spending our Sunday morning with them. The food is always excellent and the staff make us feel like family. “My friend and I really enjoyed our lunch at 5th Tavern. The chicken cobb salad was huge and delicious, as was the burger. The only issue is the noise volume, which lessened once the lunch crowd thinned out. Our service did an excellent job.“
