“Some of the best bites of food I've ever had!! I bit into the Vegetable Samosa and was instantly transported to a land of spice and flavor -I believe angels sang... The flavors were spicy and savory and it was cooked to crispy yet puffy perfection. Divine! I then ripped a gorgeous, juicy, brightly colored chunk of Tandoori Chicken off and the instant it hit my tastebuds the angels' chorus grew ever louder. Back to back two of the best tasting dishes I've had in as long as I can remember. Maybe ever. To tell you how good this was, I was watching a show when my food was delivered and literally had the show paused the entire time so I could focus on the savory deliciousness of this amazing cuisine. I never do that. Outstanding food - 5 bright and glowing stars!!!“
“We came to Ferndale for some bagels, but while parking we smelt the amazing smells of Indian cuisine. We instantly changed our minds and l’m so happy we did. The service was immaculate and the food was spectacular. The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. I recommend the lamb tikka masala & garlic naan! So scrumptious!“
“2/18/2024: This place is only open on Thursday's now? What's going on? Love the food here as long as it's carry out. When dining in, the atmosphere is too quiet so everyone sitting around us can here our conversation - turn on some Indian music. Also, we can never seem to get the waiter to come back and bring us our check - then wait even longer for them to bring back my credit card.“
“We came for the first time and it was actually one of the finest fast food in Michigan. Must try the veg hakka noodles.. has paneer in it and amazing taste. Must try the vada pav as well. If you are missing Indias fast food, then visit here. Great fast service and they have Indian fusion pastries as well. Eggless as well.“
“Decent food, has the heat , still a bit disorganized in terms of ordering - I sat for a good 25 min waiting for my Uber Eats order that was supposed to be ready, then another 15 min after it was ready. Your best bet is to call it in. I would def come back and order again. Loved the chikoo shake, veggie biryani & paneer butter masala.“
“Honestly this place is worth the hype! First off the service is amazing, the man at the counter was so personable and kind. Secondly the food is fair priced and delicious! I got the lamb platter, should’ve got the lamb and chicken. My friend got the General Taos and we both agreed they were both so flavorful and a lot of food for the value. The mango lassi was not one to skip, like a mango yogurt. So creamy and delicious! Plus, they opened indoor seating so no more waiting outside on a cold day. Will be back for the party platters!“
“The food is here is very well made. You can tell it is made from scratch and made with fresh ingredients. Tanzilla our server was very accommodating and sweet. Don’t be steered away by the location, better than most restaurants in Birmingham.“
“Went here and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was super friendly. The food was some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The dum biryani, fish fry, coconut lassi and rice pudding is a must try. Can't wait to go back and try other things off the menu.“
“Everything was absolutely perfect!! The wait for the food was not long at all, everything came pretty quickly. The food and drinks were absolutely incredible. Some of the best foods I've ever had have come from this restaurant. Lastly, the staff were very kind!! We even got some complimentary rice pudding handmade by one of them, and it was delicious. Can't wait to come again! Thank you!! <33“
“Decided to try a new Indian restaurant and Red Chillies was on my radar. Peter, one of the owners, greeted us warmly and was very attentive to our questions about the menu and spiciness of the dishes. He explained that the sauces and everything was prepared fresh in his restaurant. I appreciated knowing that. He made suggestions for what to try so we had few appetizers: veggie samosa, gobi manjoorian and chicken 65. All were very tasty and I went with mild plus for spice. We tried the king fish, chicken tikka masala and chicken saag. The garlic naan was very good also. There was an unending bowl of rice… very plentiful. Definitely had left overs to take home. The food was very flavorful full with just a touch of spice. Peter was very friendly and made suggestions of food for future visits. Looking forward to trying a new dish next time I visit. will definitely return again and bring friends with me next time.“
“This place is awesome. Amazing food, great service and the staff was very welcoming. Highly recommend checking this place out. I ordered Chicken tikka and lentils soup, my husband ordered chicken soup, they were absolutely delicious, I would say best Indian food taste in Michigan.“
“I’m gonna be truly honest here, I want to start up with the service and how not only professional, but very kind, generous and excellent at hosting.Secondly, I want to add that we got a huge portion of our orders And the food was amazing! Keep in mind we went there late. The server even gave us free sweets to try and appetizers Along with some amazing tea at no charge because it was our first time ! I am Middle Eastern and I know food so let’s just say I’m a foodieIf you want to go somewhere very affordable, chill vibe and try great authentic Bangladesh food, then come here! We had the butter chicken with white rice and naan Which they did not charge us for the naan as well, Let me just say that was the best naan I ever had extremely crispy, moist and don’t get me started on the shrimp fried rice. I am very picky and I’m a seafood eater mostly because I’m a Pescatarian so that would be a 10 out of 10 for me. I wish I had taken more photos but I definitely have to write this review because this was one of the best places to eat in Hamtramck/Detroit! Oh and all the food & everything only costed 26 DOLLARS!!!!!!!! Must try ???“
“Went to a brand new Indian restaurant tonight called masala junction. I met the owner Nitin Pradhan and his wife and there team. We had appetizers and dinner. Everything was excellent. They have veg and non veg items. It’s at 15 mile road and mound road in the plaza with the ups store. I highly suggest you check it out. We had a great experience“
“Honest Restaurant in Troy is a hidden gem with exceptional food and attentive service. The menu offers a variety of tasty options that are cooked to perfection. The cozy atmosphere adds to the dining experience. A must-visit spot for a delightful meal in Troy!“
“This place has filled a void ever since Curry Express on 9 Mile and Ryan closed... never thought me and my lady would find Chicken Karai again but this place really exceeded all expectations. Had the Garlic Naan and it was easily the best naan we've ever tried.“
“Good Indian buffet option local to me. The food at the buffet was good, but it doesn't exceed some other close-by options in terms of taste, unfortunately. The buffet had good vegetarian and meat options, but didn't have any Naan for the first 20 minutes we were there, and some of the food was cold (1:00PM on a Sunday). Also, was slightly disappointed they didn't have any butter chicken. The hostess/waitress was very nice and the place was otherwise clean.“
“The food was delicious especially chicken afghan kabob. The best Thursday special mutton biryani I have had a long time, taste like a home cooked meal, I love this great food and restaurant atmosphere. Must try their buffet and daily specials. Best Indian food (and some of the best food period) in the area. Very attentive staff, able to accommodate dietary preferences. Looking forward to returning again and again. Every dish we ordered was excellent. Also was not too heavy or oily, which sometimes happens at Indian restaurants. Just overall excellent food. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options. They also were able to accommodate vegans easily, and some of the vegetarian options are inherently vegan already Dietary restrictions: Accommodated vegan diners very well Just had Masala Dosa. One of the best Sambhars I've had in years. I was told it's their specialty and is Udipi Sambhar. The chutneys that came along with were quite fresh and different. I am pleasantly surprised. Clean facility, friendly staff and will definitely visit again.“
“Hands down the best Pakistani food around! Ordered from them a few times and the food is consistently amazing - the kabobs especially are a hit every time! On top of that, the service is is wonderful and the owner is so kind and accommodating. Will definitely keep coming back!“
“We were walking to another restaurant and as we were passing here we changed our plans and ate here and it was well worth the change. The food was fresh hot and portions were great. The service was friendly. No bad experience at all… I will be making this a regular stop with family and “
“My boyfriend and I visited for the first time on a Friday early evening. We decided to eat inside since it wasn’t busy. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly! We ordered paneer pekora, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and chicken tikka biryani. We could hear our food cooking, and it came out so fresh and hot! All items were absolutely delicious, and the portions were large enough to take home leftovers. We were even brought two pieces of gulab jamun to try for free! Prices are very reasonable as well. We will definitely be back, this will be our new regular take-out place!“
“If you ever wanted to try Indian food on a budget, you'll get a fantastic spread here for $15. Definitely come here for a long lunch, you will not be disappointed. Spice levels will vary, but you can bring your picky family members here, and they'll find little to fuss over.Waitstaff is very attentive, and wifi is free for patrons.Vegetarian options: Tofu is huge here. Very well done. There's plenty of veggies that will be a full meal for you.Kid-friendliness: This is a very kid friendly place. Good for large families, and they have booster seats.“
“Everything I had here was wonderful! To start, they brought out some sauces and pickled carrots that were very tasty and I enjoyed snacking on. For an appetizer, the mulligatawny soup was light and had balanced texture. I ordered the lamb dansak with aloo naan and they brought it out on a stand with a flame to keep it warm while I ate. After everything, they gave me some rice pudding with coconut on the house! It was quite sweet and was great end to my visit.Customer service was very engaged, with the waiter and folks from the kitchen checking in. The space was very clean and the table set up makes it feel like they take their space very seriously. A nice quiet meal ?“
