“Extremely helpful to recently deployed soldiers! Very friendly and assisted us in our time of need! We broke down on a Sunday late in the season and they sold us a reasonably priced part, loaned us the tools we needed, and gave us the dock space and lots of helpful advice. “What a nice little place!! Service was great had the lamb chops and though this meal took a little longer to get to the table because 3 out of 6 of us ordered them it was worth the wait absolutely on point best I’ve ever had blew Luigi’s off the planet. The clam chowder was delicious as well. We will be back the prices are great so happy we finally got to experience the “little bar”“

“I LOVE their 1/2 lb. burgers! They ALWAYS cook mine exactly as I order it med-rare. Love their beer boombas. Very friendly. REASONABLY priced. GREAT 60-70's music piped in. View of river. Outdoor seating avail. front & back. If u want fast food go 2 McD's.This is BAR food OK! & they do a great job. If u want gourmet foo foo food go elsewhere & pay out the azz 4 it.“

“Lighthouse never disappoints. The food is always amazing and I love that the specials are actually different every week! Their kitchen is also open pretty late for this area so that’s a huge plus. I had their BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE Eggrolls and OH MY! They were delicious and such a cool menu item(once again for this area)! Beer is always cold too! Their staff is ahhhmazing as well. (:“

“We visited on Wednesday at lunch and came by boat. There was only one other couple in the entire restaurant. I was surprised to see that they have lots of dock space. The sandwiches were good and there is an extensive drink list. Will have to come back when they have live entertainment on the outdoor patio.“

“Saturday, June 28th we were on our way by boat to Port o call for lunch. On our way we lost an engine. We idled to AHC on one engine with no power steering. The gents working harbor master were very helpful with getting us docked in a transient slip. I paid for one night while I decided what to do with my mechanical issue and after a few hours decided to have tow boat tow my boat back to my home in Harrison twp. I let the harbor masters know I would not be staying the night- i did not ask for any credit but they went out of their way to off up a partial refund. I thought that was the cherry on top of their already excellent customer service. Thanks again and cant wait to come back!“

“Second time at Knapp’s and the food has been on point. I have had both deep dish and wood fire pizzas. My husband has had chicken fingers and a cheeseburger. All phenomenal.
On our most recent visit we had the pleasure of have Alexandra as our server. She was so sweet to our 3.5 year and just all around skilled server who really loves her job. Next time we go back we will be asking for her!
Side note - wouldn’t recommend the onion rings, they really thick and my husband was not a fan and I didn’t even want to try one. But the fries are so good, love the seasoning.“
